Stylishly appointed, this 4 room studio suite (478sq.ft.) was designed with comfort foremost in mind. Commodious seating, luxurious new bedding, a quality Cal-King mattress and high end bath linens are just a few of the “upscale” amenities. The cool blue and stone colored walls compliment the contemporary furnishings, clean lines, hardwoods, bamboo flooring and oriental carpets. Waves play in the floor to ceiling beveled mirror wall panel. The Asian art found throughout the apartment (museum puttied in place to prevent accidents) lends an exotic air to the décor.
The same care to detail is shown throughout the rest of the suite.
Soothing to the senses and stocked with everything needed for an evening of fine dining “ensuite” to a beach picnic, this apartment may well be the “Best Bang for the Buck” accommodation on the Kona coast.
*For those of you celebrating a special occasion: Rest assured that we go the extra mile to insure that it is, indeed, a *very special* occasion. Dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts and a NICE chilled Chardonnay will be waiting for you to enjoy. Live plants, fresh flowers, fruit or other treats will be placed in your suite on the day of your arrival.
'The Kona Bali Kai'. Midway down Ali'i Drive is famous surf spot 'Banyans' (your view, as pictured in the slide show), adjacent to the Kona Bali Kai main building. (2 miles north to 'Restaurant Row' and the Village, 3 miles south to Keahou Bay and less than a mile to “Magic Sands” beach.) Across and just south from the main building, 12 unit 'Building 3' is easily accessed and has a 'laid back' feeling not usually associated with condos. The unit is on the slightly elevated (10 ft. above sea level) first floor (easy access and good views of the ocean over 2 lane Ali'i Drive), with private residences on the north and east, a 'Mom and Pop' style market (w/ spirits) on the south and the Pacific Ocean to your west.

Easy access for parking. View the ocean from your bed or Lanai. Simply cross the street to a very active surfing Beach spot and/or access to the pool.
A clean comfortable studio condo that certainly invites us back to enjoy the Big Island - we couldn't see it all in the week we had!
Rebecca (who we never actually met)was so helpful and checked in on us via email to ensure our every need was met. Made us feel special.
The suite was dirty. Every facecloth was stained, the couch was stained, the cutlery was rusty, the shower curtain was covered in mildew as was the grout of the tub/shower. The window frames were all covered in mildew and the cupboard under the sink where the trash bin is kept was filthy. I can accept an older unit, but older does not have to be dirty. Even the DVD player was rusty! It looked like the suite had been furnished/decorated from a garage sale. The condo is located very close to the busiest street in Kona so traffic noise goes 24 hours a day, add to that we were a stone's throw from the local public beach. We were not able to sit out on the lanai in the evening because of the noise. We took the time to view other rental properties at comparable price and there are much better options available. The swimming pool at the complex is in dire need of repair with tiles missing and the deck cracked and missing tiles as well.
My GF and I really enjoyed our stay at Rebecca's condo. It is a great location right across the street from the beach with an ocean view from the lanai. The condo is very nicely decorated and equipped for an extended stay. In my view it is nicer than the pictures indicate. It's a great value. We would absolutely stay here again.
My wife and I just completed a wonderful month at Rebecca's beautifully appointed and equipped condominium across from Banyan Beach. The apartment had everything we needed and it was great fun to sit on the lanai and watch the surfers and sunset.
We had a car but you could get by with the trolley that runs regularly along the coast.
There is a well stocked convenience store only a minutes walk away and of course the beach is just across the street.
This rental is great at a very reasonable price. Rebecca is very fast to respond if you have any questions.

We definitely had the best vacation of our lives and this condo was perfect for what we needed. The location is optimal in my opinion for a week vacation for people who want to enjoy the whole island or stay on the beach. The price beat the heck out of a hotel, the kitchen was nice, and we were very comfortable.
