Our family purchased this home in 2005. We live in the Portland area and love how close it is to visit.
Steve Hershberger purchased this townhome in 2005
We stumbled onto Eagle Crest Resort from an invite and never looked again. We knew from just the first visit that this was the place to be. With it's 300+ days of sunshine per year and abundance of activities in the area makes it a true outdoor paradise.
Dew Sweeper: A player in a pro golf tournament who, in the third or fourth round, has a very early tee time. Early morning pairings (when the dew is still on the ground - get it?) on the weekend in a tour event are made up of the players who've made the cut but are closest to the bottom of the field.
What a wonderful rental. We have stayed at a few places in Eagle Crest & this one was one of our favorites. It is conveniently located near the sports center with an indoor pool, right on the golf course. It was very cold while we were there but the home was warm & welcoming. It was so much fun soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the dazzling snow or sparkling stars. It took us a while to find all the baking pans, ect.. in the kitchen but we had all we needed for our Thanksgiving feast. The instant hot water was a really blessing for our Tea drinkers. The master bathroom was spacious & comfortable. The upstairs rooms were laid out great, everyone had their space. We were even able to set up the Wii for the kids upstairs. Thank you Steve & family.
Close location from the main entrance which translates to less time traveling the 20 mph roads inside of Eagle Crest. Parking for 2+ cars depending on how many cars the neighbors bring. Nice relaxing back deck. There were a few maintenance items I have made aware to the owner...hot tub had some jets not working at 100%. Need microwave friendly plates and bowls. A bigger TV would be nice in the living room and a flat panel in the master would also be a plus. All-in-all it was just fine and the best bargain at the time. Thanks for letting us stay there.
Excellent location for golfing nuts like us. So we spent alot of time out whacking and chasing little orbs into small round holes. The hot tub eased the aches oh the everyday slugfest. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Even instant hot water in the kitchen. Full size double door refrigerator. Dishwasher noisey so used it while golfing.
This was a last minute trip for helping Daughter and Son-in-law out for the week with the four grandchildren. We debated Washington coast or Central Oregon. What a wonderful decision by choosing this perfect home at Eagle Crest Resort. We have never been and what a treat it was with all that the home offered as well as Steve's (owner) sharing all the amenities of Eagle Crest with day passes.
The home is two story with fully equipped kitchen with stove, micro, and double door refrigerator, and any and all cooking utensils, plates, bowls, wide assortment of eating and BBQ utensils. Unit has hall half bath, and large Master Bedroom tastefully furnished, with huge bathroom with double sinks, sit down vanity, private water closet area, and corner shower. Washer and dryer, soap ,laundry bleach, softners, and miscellaneous cleaning items for touch ups. Bath towels were large and adsorbent for the extra luxurious feel. Plenty of extra storage in walk-in closet and bathroom cabinets if needed for longer stay...
Upstairs was great for the four grandchildren...TV, Xbox, Jack and Jill bathroom, queen bed one bedroom, and bunk double bed with twin top in the other bedroom..plenty of closet space abd chests space in each bedroom. So, the grandchildren had their space to relax and enjoy. Our one and only need was small glasses for the kids to handle somewhat easier for juice and milk..I was going to get some and leave there, but we never really left the resort to shop....tooooo much to do...!!
With not ever being there before, went to the large Sport Center, and obtained map for the resort. This resort has everything to keep any and all age groups busy. Biking, gym for pickle ball, basketball, indoor and outdoor tennis, soccer field, three different swimming pools, splash park, hiking along the Deschutes River, Cline Falls, Tumalo Park, and golf course, and 21 hole miniature golf course (not putt putt folks) and the three boys and Grandpa had a wonderful 1-1/2 hour time working their way around the course...so, one can stay busy the entire day doing all that is made available from the resort. In the evenings, one could relax on the deck, enjoy the hot tub on the outside deck overlooking the golf course in the cool evening breezes after a busy day. The resort staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous,
This home is more than exceptional value for a very lovely and well shown home to enjoy in our "backyard" here in Oregon. Loved it!
4 friends and I just spent a week at the Dew Sweeper Inn at Eagle Crest Oregon. It was wonderful. The accommodations were great. We were able to accommodate all 5 of us in the three bedrooms. Have the powder room on the main floor was bonus. The unit was extremely well equipped. There was nothing that we could have added. The owner was extremely professional and addressed any concerns immediately. We were very pleased. The location on the golf course was wonderful. We spent evenings on the deck to enjoy the view.
We wanted a small place to rent in Eagle Crest for a family Thanksgiving. This property was clean and comfortable. Close enought to Redmond to pick up a few things that we forgot, but far enough away to feel like a vacation. Super close to the swimming pool and rec. center. The kitchen was well stocked with the things that we needed. The downstaris master is huge and the upstairs bedrooms were perfect for the kids. This was the first time that we have stayed here and we plan to be back!
