Rustic, Family Friendly, Feels Just like Home

  • 5 of 5

"We feel just like we are home." our children described it the first night!!

We are a VERY busy family of 5...puppies included!!! We found this rustic, family friendly home the most perfect place enabling us to RELAX & enjoy ALL that Tahoe has to offer... Including cooking for my family. Our stay included, trails in the surrounding area, fishing, activities on the lake, and just enjoying the quiet & peacefulness of the area!! The spa was a perfect ending to the day for the entire family.

The owners, Bill & Peggy, are beyond wonderful!!! Very accommodating, friendly and honestly... Beautiful people to know. They feel like family.

I highly recommend coming here to visit and spending a weekend or a week. You be very satisfied with your stay. We have already made plans to come back and enjoy this quiet Get -Away!!!

Cozy, rustic, wonderful and perfect

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Peggy and Bill's cabin for the weekend and it was perfect for us. I brought my two small dogs and the fenced in yard made it perfect for them as well. The hot tub was excellent after spending the day with family at Camp Richardson. Comfy beds too, for those of us with bad backs. Peggy and Bill are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Rustic but cozy

  • 5 of 5

The cabin couldn't have been any better. We requested for an early checkin and Peggy/Bill were very accommodating and flexible. Close to groceries, restaurants, boat rentals and very quiet neighborhood makes it a perfect location. We will definitely be back again!!!

Cozy, perfect for couple or small family

  • 5 of 5

You've read the other reviews, so here's another affirmation. This cabin is super cute. The bedrooms are not big, but they are plenty to fit the bed. The kitchen had a variety of pots and pans, as well as a full size refrigerator, 4burner stove, regular size oven, and a microwave. The hot tub in the backyard felt great. The jets really relaxed the muscles. The hot tub is fully enclosed in a pergola, but the sides can be slid open. The fireplace was great (with included firewood). We kept a fire going most of the time we were home, it really made for great ambiance. The neighborhood is very quiet. No traffic, no noisy neighbors. Yet it was still really close to the grocery store and coffee house. And there are miles of trails leading to Fallen Leaf Lake and Gardner Mountain just about two blocks away. This cabin is great for a couple, 2 couples, or a small family.

But the best part of the whole deal is Bill and Peggy. They live next door, and are just the nicest people you will ever meet. We have rented dozens of different cabins in SLT, all with pluses and minuses, but we have decided this is now our go-to cabin. Can't wait to go back.
