We are excited to share our home with vacationers that would like to take advantage of beautiful Sausalito. We found ourselves with more space than we need and have made our downstairs unit private so that renters can experience their vacation on their own. We have lived in Sausalito for the past 6 years and love the weather, the community and feel of this town. It is great to be so close to the city and yet so very far away.
The Owner purchased this house in 2008
We love Sausalito - it is location that not only our friends and family love to visit, but people who come to the area fall in love. We think our rental unit will just stoke the fires of that love affair as it is peaceful and tranquil with one of the most amazing views in the area.
The property does have a washer and dryer onsite if needed - basic pantry items are included as we offer a full kitchen, dining room and deck that is perfect for entertaining or enjoying a fantastic home cooked meal. There are also fantastic restaurant options in the area for your dining enjoyment. We love how convenient it is to popular sightseeing trips as well as physical activities of hiking, biking, and kayaking.
I had a great time there for the two nights it was very clean and comfortable and close to the ferry. I would stay there again next time I am in Sausalito. Deb
Great place! Beautiful view. Bed super comfortable too. Very nice and helpful owners!
We had a great time in our Sausalito Getaway!!! We hope to come back again real soon. P.S. Thanks for all of the fire wood, it made our evenings memorable.
The description of the listing was accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner had very explicit instructions for the property and provided excellent customer service.
The rental was everything we had hoped it would be. There was lots of space for me, my husband, and my nine year old sun. The view from the deck was incredible. Staying there and enjoying the deck in the morning and the evening was my favorite part. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Based on the owners' recommendations we dined at Bar Bocce. It had really good food and a great atmosphere.
We would recommend this property to friends and relatives.
We stayed at Dan's place in early June and found it to be clean, charming and well appointed. Although we didn't cook any meals here during our 2-day stay we very easily could have because it was a fully equipped kitchen. Cute little market called Driver's right down the hill and we did wine and cheese on the deck one night. Sausalito is a great town and everything is very walkable from Dan's place as long as you are OK with very steep uphill and downhill climbs. You can also drive down and park. We walked everywhere and hiked the Marin Headlands so I spent my whole stay in tennis shoes which was fine by us! We never had the pleasure of meeting Dan but he was very communicative and reachable via text if we had needed anything.
The view from the apartment is great. Only thing that seemed to be missing was the firepit on the deck, but we were fine without it.
We ate brunch at Fred's one day...so yummy and the Bridgeway Cafe (food was delicious and view was amazing!) We ate dinner at Sushi Ran and I am not a sushi lover went there for the hubby, but I had their miso cod and it was seriously the best fish I have ever eaten! They don't have a ton for non sushi eaters, but there were at least 3 or 4 dishe to choose from.
Highly recommend this great apartment off the beaten path!
