This 1,000 sq ft condo is a 5 Star property at the Dana Point Headlands with PATIO AND LIVING ROOM FACING THE OCEAN with fabulous coastal views. This is the best that it gets! The Building was TOTALLY RENOVATED recently. You can relax on the patio with a drink and WATCH THE WAVES and if you are lucky, you can see the DOLPHINS playing in the surf. In the evening, you can watch the SUNSET over the ocean.

The building is owned by our family and we now have all four units on short term rental. Please contact us for more information on the other units which are not reflected on this site. The pictures here represent unit #2 or 'The Travertine' which was Recently renovated and has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the second with a queen bed.

There is a large PATIO with a magnificient ocean view which leads into the great room with an open kitchen and dining room. The condo had two full baths and a washer and dryer INSIDE the unit. It is located on the GROUND FLOOR and is also accessible from the garage. This makes it especially easy to come into the unit if you are carrying suitcases or shopping bags. There are NO STAIRS. The unit is handicap accessible and is completely furnished with everything you need.

There is a table and 6 chairs on the large patio overlooking the ocean which is a great place to barbecue and have dinner on a summer night. and If you are lucky, you may see the dolphins!

The unit overlooks Strands Beach - just 1/4 mile south of the famed Ritz Carlton Hotel and Salt Creek Beach Park, and is located adjacent to the path to the beach on top of the bluff. It is very quiet, peaceful and safe. It is truly one of the most unforgetable spots you will ever find. The condo is furnished impeccably and has everything you could need for a vacation...You may think you are in the Ritz Carlton. ...just bring your toothbrush!

About Jill Fabricant

My brother and I purchased this property in 1990. Bob was out running and found it and fell in love with the location. He told me about it and I also fell in love with the VIEW. Since then, we renovated the units, stay there occasionally and also rent them out for part of the year. Both Bob and I are in the medical profession. We love the tranquility and beauty surrounding our Dana Strands home. They are only a five minute walk to Starbucks, restaurants and cafes. They are furnished lovingly and contain original artwork. They are truly a jewel.

Why Jill Fabricant chose Orange County

My brother and I were mesmerized with the VIEW from the property as it is simply SPECTACULAR. It is undoubtably one of the most striking views you will ever see - and that includes many from around the world. The entire property was completely renovated when we decided to make it a place where we could both go for long weekends or for a week with our families and friends. The HEADLANDS has some of the most expensive beachfront properties in Orange county. Our property is located on the edge of the BLUFF in the Headlands overlooking the ocean. It is the most ideal location at the Headlands as it is the signature property when you drive into the area. You will love it. There is also a funicular that goes down to the beach which is only a couple of minutes walk from the property.

What makes this condo unique

This condo has a VIEW TO DIE FOR. You can watch dolphins play in the surf or watch SUNSETS from the patio. The path to the beach is adjacent to the property. Outside the door there are about 2 miles of ocean view paths in the Headlands Reserve where you can hike. The property is a 10 minute walk to the Ritz Carlton and St Regis Hotels. The Ritz Carlton has the same view as ours and the St. Regis is located about one half mile from the ocean and does not compare. The condo is a FIVE STAR lodging and has everything you need to make your visit truly remarkable.

Fabulous Views and Location

We stayed at Jill's condo in April to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday weekend. There were 4 of us in our family and it was perfect. The condo has the most glorious views and Strand beach below provided beautiful walks and sunsets every day we were there. The condo is well equipped and lovely. We actually loved the stairs to the beach. It was our daily workout, stairclimber! We even saw whales twice from our balcony during our stay. Jill and Nita were a pleasure to deal with and I hope to come back for a longer stay next time. You are also very close to restaurants and shops in both Dana Point and Laguna Beach. You must go to Stacks for breakfast. I highly recommend renting from her. We will be back!

Location, location, location!

The views from this property are exactly as the pictures show - fabulous! Although the bedrooms are in the back, because of the layout you can hear the waves crashing all night - nature's way of lulling us to sleep. Jill is on the property and she's great. The walk to the beach is a hike with steps and ramps, but we thought of it as our daily exercise after enjoying all the delicious restaurants that are minutes away by car. If you want wonderful ocean and beach views, comfortable accommodations (the master suite bed was so comfortable!), and great restaurants and things to see, then we recommend this condo.

Spectacular view!!

We had a lovely week at this condo in July 2016! You won't find a better location or view in Dana Point! The condo itself is comfortable and clean, and having Jill nearby for questions or concerns (not that we had many), is helpful. We would definitely recommend this condo/owner. Killer Cali Condo

What a great time we spent here. Everything was better than expected. The condo was so well equipped we had no need for anything. The views are probably the best you can get. The beach is great for surfing, boogie boarding, swimming or just chilling. Jill was there for any of our needs, a real ray of sunshine. Can't wait to return!

Cool view, good location, but . . .

View and location are good, however other factors mar the experience; garage is full of furniture, Internet intermittent and weak, and next door residential construction begins before 7 am, and owners dogs (upstairs apartment) bark whenever she's away. Our holiday was particularly effected by owners onsite construction (noise and inconvenience), and investation of ants ( we declined pesticide because of our dog), and a number of issues which were fixable once we complained. If you choose this property, do your homework, ask for current photos, and be clear about your expectations and priorities.

Owner's Response: The view is spectacular, not good. Some people are just very hard to please. We had had hundreds of renters in the past 6 years in our four units. Most of the reviews are 5 star, with an occasional 4 star. This review was obviously written by a very unhappy person, who is not easily pleased. We try very hard to provide the best holiday for our guests. Unfortunately this was not possible this time, the first in 6 years! The internet works fine for those on ATT. I believe those with Sprint may find it weaker in the front of the house but on the kitchen table it works well. The construction of an outside patio in my unit is now finished. With regard to ants unfortunately these renters chose not to have the unit treated professionally after they left dirty dishes in the sink and on the counters in the kitchen. We have the units treated professionally on the perimeter 4 times a year and the interiors treated on an as needed basis. My maids have been cleaning for me for 10 years and spend 4-5 hours per unit before each guest arrives and the units are impeccable. We pride ourselves on having clean, and well maintained units. With regard to dogs, miy two small poodles are kept upstairs and no one has ever complained about them before. We are a dog friendly building and there are occasional times when dogs do bark. I hope that we can continue to have guests who appreciate the beauty of our location and the opportunity to stay in this wonderful place. We enjoy having guests who can share this with us. Jill

The property is adjacent to a path to one of the best beaches (Strands Beach) in Southern California. There is a wildlife preserve with hiking trails less than 500 yards away. The property is located on the Headlands Bluff with a stunning VIEW of the coast looking toward Laguna Beach. It is the best located property in the Headlands. There is a (funicular) tram that goes to the beach nearby if you do not want to walk.

Dana Point is mid-way between Los Angeles and San Diego where you can go to the zoo, water parks, Disneyland, Safari Parks, Universal Studios and more. This is a great place to go for vacation.
