Wanna Shop? - 'The River', El Paseo Drive, Westfield Shopping Mall, and the weekend farmers market @ College of The Desert are all within walking distance of our unit.
Wanna Sit by the Pool? - We have 3 within 50 feet of our front door to keep an eye on the kids, or to make another beverage.
By now we’re sure you know about the beauty, comfort, golf, tennis, restaurants, shopping, theatres, hiking, etc. at Rancho Las Palmas Country Club.
This unit sits right on the 5th hole fairway, north course. East facing back patio with mountain/fairway views and morning sun with afternoon shade. High vaulted ceiling in the living room. New kitchen appliances. New paint, tile and carpet. One of only a handful of 3 BR, 2 bath units. King, King and 2 Twin beds -or make another King. And yes, we even have a portable crib and a Highchair in the unit for travelers with young ones.
For the ladies - our kitchen is fully stocked with evey utensil, pot, and matching place settings.
And for the guys - Plasma TV's everywhere! 1700 sq. ft. See photos. We also have high speed wireless internet access, Xbox 360, and Wii game consoles with some games and movies.
This is a non smoking unit.

We are a family of 4 with two small children who visit this condo often. It`s a perfect place to kick your feet up, relax, and enjoy yourself. The Pro Shop for golf or tennis is just down the street and can be used by our guests. There is also a fitness center near the Pro Shop, or you can use our treadmaster in the unit. The pool is close enough to refill your beverage, and anything you need to do while in the desert is just outside our gates.

We purchased this unit in Rancho Las Palmas for it's location and proximity to all the major attractions and amenities in the desert. It's comparable to staying in the Times Square area of New York right in the heart of everything.
We have been travelling to the desert for 7 years, and found we liked being close to ``The River Complex`` with it`s movie complex, andrestaurants. We are also close to the Westfield Mall, Walmart Supercenter, Home Depot and Costco. El Paseo Drivè for the finer shops and restaurants is 5 blocks away.
It`s also in the middle of the desert, so it`s 10 minutes to La Quinta, and 13 minutes to the airport or Downtown Palm Springs.
The property needs attention for example:
Light fixture dangling in laundry room, closet doors in master bedroom not working, extremely dark home with poor lighting, worn sheets in small bedroom, messy electronics cubbard under large TV in family room, no place mats or table cloths, windows through out are filthy, verticle draw shades are broken and work poorly, entire home needs a thorough cleansing. And the crowning blow: water turned off for non-payment of bill. It was difficult to contact owners. Know that when renting from VRBO you have no support from them when immediate property attention or repair is needed. I will say that VRBO did provide a hotel stay during the time of water turn off. But finding a phone number for them was difficult.
Suggestion: contact the property owner before renting and develop a plan if the property demands attention. The Thompsons when finally contacted reimbursed the renter for payment of the water bill plus a credit for the inconvenience.
We had a great time. We all love Rancho Las Palmas for it's great views and central location.
We had a great stay! We had 2 families with small children and we had plenty of room. The condo is beautifully decorated and clean. The location is close to the pools and we loved spending time on the patio in the evening. It is also close to many restaurants. We can not wait to stay here again. Thank you!
Description of house is exactly as described and seen in photos, might say even nicer in person! Troy was easy to communicate with, and quick to answer any and all questions. The property was cleaned and well maintained. I would recommend this property to friends. In a great location and 2 pools very close to the house.

Superior to typical condo/time shares.
The condo is very spacious - lots of room to be comfortable. It has everything you need and is a great location in the desert area. Communication with owner was also very good.
Rancho Las Palmas Country Club is in the Center of the desert. You are a 5 minute drive to everywhere and everything! That's why we chose to purchase at this spot.
Restaurant Row is on the 111 between both our main gates. The Westfield Shopping Mall, Wallmart, Costco, and Home Depot are 5 minutes away or less. The # 10 freeway has a ramp at Bob Hope drive and Monterray which lead directly to our front and back gates which allow quick access to LA or the shopping outlets in Cabazon. There is movie Theaters in the Westfield Mall or at the # 10. Outside our Monteray Gate and across the street at College of the Desert is the weekend market. The 111 takes you 12 minutes into downtown Palm Springs. And outside our main gates is The River where shops, restaurants and more importantly Starbucks all within walking distance from our unit.
