Why Svein A. Berg chose Summit - University
We bought this house in 2005 when we moved to St. Paul. The house was built in 1889, and has a character and charm that spoke to us. It is in a child friendly neighborhood, with a huge park just and a public tennis court across the street. Mississippi Market, our local Coop with local and organic produce, is just a two minutes walk away.
What makes this House unique
The house has character, and a great floor plan for having friends over.

We came to BE together. We brought board games, crafts, books, etc. The space was perfect. We had privacy and together space. The winter storm was magical. We will return!
Clean and easy access
Clean property with easily accessible check in process. Great communication with owner and willingness to be flexible.
Comfortable home in a charming neighborhood!
Owner was great to deal with. Home was well equipped and comfortable. We would rent again.
We hope to come again.
The Berg House was ideal for our family (four adults and two children). The house is charming, over a hundred years old and very roomy and well kept up. The kitchen is large, modern, and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the private patio and shrubs in the back, where we grilled (all supplies provided). The location is excellent: a short walk to several attractive coffee shops and the Mississippi Market which specializes in locally grown and organic products, including deli selections. A little further along are boutique shops and interesting stores. Two suggestions for Mr. Berg: please check little repairs needed, like a torn screen on the back door; have a check-out list for guests, especially in light of the security deposit. Those are minor, of course. The Berg House is our kind of home. We hope to come again. The Boyers
Loved the Berg House
The Beeg House was the perfect house in a perfect location. The open layout of the home was perfect for entertaining. There is a nice private area in the fenced yard for kids to play. Able to walk to groceries, restaurants, even to downtown area if you were ambitious. Lived the house and the area. The manager was easily accessible by phone for ant questions. Loved the house.
Very close to Excel center, Minnesota Public Radio's Fitzgerald Theater, downtown Saint Paul, with easy access to UMN campus, downtown Minneapolis, airport and mall of America (all less than 15 minutes drive).
