Cockroaches and broken bed

  • 1 of 5

We stayed here from August 27 to Sept 1 and paid a premium compared to other similar properties since it was a Four Seasons property. However, this place had many issues including the place was infested with cockroaches (huge cockroaches in the kitchen, in the bathrooms, and even fell out of a towel!!), one of our friend's bed broke in the middle of the night, among other issues. They had an exterminator spray the property while we were there which we didn't like since we had 3 toddlers with us. Would not recommend.

You won't be disappointed!

  • 5 of 5

we just spent a week at this home. there were 5 of us, including our 2 young girls (10 months and 2 1/2) and nanny. the house was perfect, and with great outdoor spaces it gave us a great place to relax when we weren't enjoying the amenities of the four seasons. through the ppty manager, we rented all the gear we needed for the kids (cribs, stroller, etc...) and it couldn't have been easier. and the proximity to the hotel was also great, just 5-6 minutes by golf cart. we'll be back!

My family and I just returned from an amazing 7 day stay at Hualalai Hale. We were joined by another family, and there was ample room to accomodate both families, including two full master bedrooms and two additional bedrooms. The house was beautifully appointed, with high ceilings, spacious indoor and outdoor sitting areas, invisible windows leading out to the pool, indoor and outdoor showers in both masters, a spectacular outdoor dining area, a beautiful lawn, and just minutes from the hotel amenities. The service we received both before and during our stay was flawless. We could not have been happier!

A Simple fabulous home for families

  • 5 of 5

There is little I can add to the previous review. We rented this lovely appointed house for our two adult children and their spouses and their 5 young sons. My husband and I, the grandparents, stayed at the Four Seasons hotel, which was a 5 minute golf cart ride away. We had the best of both worlds, our own privacy and close proximity to the family. We used all the hotel facilities, but because the house had a pool, there was less rush to get to the hotel. The house was so well laid out and large, that there never seemed to be the usual mess that a vacation brings. The management people that my son dealt with, as he and his family were the first to arrive, were very attentive and helpful. Due to the hurricane that never materialized, some of the internet and TV's had been turned off and needed to be working again, and it was handled quickly and pleasantly.

The kitchen in the house was gorgeous, with every necessary appliance and more. It was so conducive to eating "in" that we had our favorite chef come in and prepare a dinner. David Abraham, from the Red Water Cafe, is worth the cost. His preparation is gorgeous and his farm to table selections were delicious. We then followed it up with a visit to his restaurant, which was well worth the trip, about 35 minutes.

The outside of the house was lovely, the hammock was delightful, the hot tub awesome, and the glass doors that folded into the wall, bringing the outside in, was stunning.

All the bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The washer and dryer and all the appliances were top notch as were all the towels, sheets, etc.

Would I recommend this house?? Of course! And we can't wait to come back next year.
