Totally remodeled from top to bottom in the summer of 2014, this 900 sq. ft., 2 level villa is located directly on Sapphire Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on St. Thomas, and is one of Sapphire Beach Resorts premier private rentals!
You will enjoy spectacular panoramic views from our two private balconies overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Ocean, St. John and the British Virgin Islands, where you are just steps away from the half mile long, white sandy beach and crystal clear aqua waters of Sapphire Beach. There is great snorkeling right on our own reef, where you can see an abundance of tropical fish, coral, sea turtles and stingray, and a two level pool is provided for guest use only.

Imagine sitting on one of your two private balconies enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails (It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!) in a lush tropical setting, listening to the soothing sound of the ocean right in front of your condo!
You enter to the main floor, which has its own large bathroom, full kitchen, dining table, and living room with a queen sofa sleeper, recliner, 46” flat screen TV and private balcony overlooking the beach and palm trees with amazing views of St. John and the British Virgin Islands. The quartz countertop kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator (with ice maker and filtered water), convection microwave, 4 burner ceramic cook top, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster, crock-pot, blender and plenty of cookware, dishes, utensils, stemware and silverware.
Stairs from the main level lead up to the spacious master suite. This upper level, with an 18 ft. cathedral ceiling, also has its own large bathroom with two sinks and shower, a new King Size bed, sitting area with sofa, a Murphy bed that folds down to a Queen Size pillow-top mattress, 43" flat screen TV and another private balcony with even more spectacular views.
63 channel cable TV is provided on both levels. Both levels have their own air conditioning with separate thermostats; but the ceiling fans and ocean breezes are often all you need!
This unit can comfortably sleep six people. It is perfect for a couple with children, but it also provides ample privacy for two couples or three adults.
Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is located on the East End of the island, only half a mile from the nautical village of Red Hook and American Yacht Harbor, which has shopping, numerous casual and upscale restaurants and bars, boating and diving adventures and the ferries to St. John.
The Sapphire Beach Marina, located on property, offers sailing trips, power boat trips, fishing trips, parasailing and Jet-Ski rentals. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels and free Wi-Fi are all included with your rental.
The Dive In shop is located right on the beach. They rent kayaks, SUP Boards, life jackets and foam beach floats, and you can also purchase some basic beach sundries like sun block, lotions, sunglasses, etc.
The Sapphire Beach Bar, also located on the property, cooks up hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, tuna or mahi sandwiches and salads, along with a variety of beers wines and tropical drinks. You can eat at the bar, or they will deliver right to your beach chair! The VI Slice restaurant is a short walk up from the Marina, and offers gourmet pizza along with other daily specials.
The resort has 24 hour security with a gated entrance, cameras and uniformed personnel available at all times.
This luxurious condo is managed by Dionne Nelthropp who owns Hibiscus Homes Realty. Dionne grew up in St. Thomas and has been in the Real Estate industry for more than ten years. The owners consider this a tremendous advantage over other rentals you find on VRBO, as it is professionally managed by a local who absolutely loves these islands and will do everything possible to make sure you have the perfect vacation rental.
We use our own reliable housekeeping to assure the unit is extremely clean for your arrival. We provide fresh linens and extra towels for you. Mid-week cleanings are available upon request for an extra charge, as is stocking of groceries or other needs you may have.

The condo was very clean and updated and the view was amazing. The owners have everything there you need. It's like home away from home.
We had a great time. We had a few issues when we arrived but Dionne was on it and got it takin care of quickly. The bed was a little to soft for me. But I would definitely stay here again. Perfect place in a perfect location
Great place to stay on St Thomas
Isle Be Back is a great place to spend your time in St. Thomas. The condo was in great shape when we arrived - clean, everything as you would expect it to be.
The resort itself is being slowly redone and it is apparent there is some work left to do (tennis courts, etc).
But the beach area is fabulous, with no issues getting beach chairs arranged, access to the beach restaurant, etc. The condo had snorkeling equipment and beach cooler available.
I need to say a word about Dionne - the property manager. She was as responsive and helpful as one could ask for.
We booked this property 3 months in advance and when we booked - Dionne said she would provide all the necessary information (access codes, instructions, etc) a week prior to our arrival. Sure enough - the week prior she sent us everything we needed and answered any questions that we might have had.
This is a really nice place to stay and is managed by truly professional people. I would highly recommend Isle Be Back for your trip.
We stayed here recently with 2 adults and 3 kids ages 11, 7, and 7 and had a fabulous time. The condo is beautifully remodeled and very well kept. The location was perfect. Steps from one of the best beaches around with great snorkeling only a few steps in! So many fish to see, bring an underwater camera! Water shoes are a must. One of the kids stepped on a sea urchin close to shore and it was such a pain. Water shoes are available at the condo and we brought our own also.
The provided chairs, towels, and coolers are great. All you need is your beach bag and LOTS of sunscreen.
A very short drive from Red Hook which is nice. Definitely rent a car! We were nervous about driving on the left but it was really easy and the car so handy. We read multiple reviews that discussed taking cabs and I think that would be difficult with young kids. We saw some cabs around but very few and the walk up the hill (more of a mountain) is very steep and without a shoulder so is not really safe especially at night. We rented an AVIS car through Costco and the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!
We made our own drinks and snacks to take to the beach most days but the beach bar was also great (don't miss the painkillers and bushwhackers, amazing) and the staff for water rentals very nice. The parasailing also a blast.
We took the car ferry to St John one day and loved it. We beach hopped and were amazed how pristine an unspoiled the beaches were.
The pool was lovely for the kids. The former beach bar area next to it is a mess as it is not owned by the condo association but we just ignored it and enjoyed the lovely views instead. (The welcome book explains the whole story.)
Dionne was great and available to help with anything that arose!
We found a fabulous tapas restaurant 1 minute down the road called Lime. You MUST eat there! It out shined any other place we went. Unfortunately we only discovered it on our last night. On our next visit we may well eat there every night! Bonus was that the kids loved it too.
Our kids loved a trip to Coral World on a rainy day. My son swam with the sharks and had a wonderful experience.
Overall a stress free and amazing vacation with the kids. Would be a great condo for a girls weekend also. Since 2 of the beds are in the bedroom and the 3rd in the living room it would be hard for multiple couples I think.
Will recommend to friends and can't wait to go back!
We recently stayed at the property with our three children ages 12, 10 and 6. This was our second time at sapphire beach and we love it there! The unit was very nice and had everything we needed. It was very clean and all the beds were comfortable. When we arrived the upstairs air conditioner wasn't working but the property manager was able to send someone out the next evening. We also noticed the internet wasn't working. I communicated with the property manager several times and she said it would be up and running halfway through our trip. It never got fixed and Dionne never got back to me after the day she said it would be up. As we were checking out , there were some workers that were there to fix it. It was actually very hard to not have ANY internet for the whole week bc we were unable to research restaurants, ferry schedules and excursions. The actual unit was perfect for us but the lack of communication and no internet ended up being really frustrating in the end.
Isle Be Back on Sapphire Beach was awesome!
The condo and beach property were well cared for. The condo remodeling was very nice. Beach is close. Views are spectacular. Amenities were good. An issue with the wifi for the first couple of days, but the property manager Dionne was wonderful to work with, responsive and very helpful in resolving. Loved the little features like having a keypad lock on the door and not worry about who has the key; a foot brush at the door to brush off the sand; snorkel gear and coolers to use at the beaches. Very close to Red Hook, Lindquist Beach, Coki Beach and others. A car is highly recommended to get around. And I hope "Isle Be Back"!
