My parents bought the property in 1957. I was born and raised here. It was a great place to grow up. In 1995, before kids, we tore down the old homestead and built the Hideaway! It is our home away from home and we are blessed to have kept it in the family all these years. Enjoy your stay!

Tracy & Bev: Thank You for sharing your wonderful beach house with our family. We vacation every August together and celebrate our oldest daughter's birthday (41 this year) and our youngest daughter's anniversary (6 this year) we feel very blessed by our relationship with our girls and the Hideaway provided us a wonderful spot to celebrate and enjoy the Beverly beach area (a favorite of my wife's childhood family camping memories). The view lived up to all expectations, the yard was great for family games (lively games of Kubb) and some soccer. I especially enjoyed the kitchen which allows the chef to stay involved with the activity inside or out ( I do most of the cooking). Thank you again we had a glorious stay.
The ocean view was amazing, but the house itself was just ok. We had to buy a battery for the smoke alarm as it was beeping when we walked in the door. And bought draino for the tub to drain and a baking sheet for cooking. We had to buy toilet paper, trash bags and hand soap as these not provided for a 5 day stay. Bedroom window leaking from rain, bedsheets were torn, linoleum floor peeling up. Bedding not very nice. The couches were comfortable though. Quiet neighborhood and 1/2 mile walk to Beverly Beach. 6 miles to town.
This house was just perfect for our 2 night getaway with my daughter and 7 yr old granddaughter. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathrooms had hand soap and the cable worked great. The queen bed upstairs wasn't too comfortable per my daughter however the king bed was very comfie and the sheets were nice.
The cupboards and coat closet were a little messy which didn't detract from the rest of the clean living space. I felt very comfortable walking in my socks and lying on the frontroom couches. The view was to die for.
The garage was a tight squeeze for my Murano crossover but worked fine. Nice to have the washer and dryer available.
The only thing I'd like to see done differently was to leave some room in the cupboards for dry food items..
Loved it and will use it when we visit the coast again!
My wife and I had a great , restful stay at the hideaway near Beverly Beach. The name is appropriate as their was almost no sound but the sound of the waves crashing in the distance and hardly any people in the adjoining homes. It was a paradise of peace and natural sounds. House was also well equipped with everything we needed. The views of ocean from home were stunning. We actually watched grey wales in the ocean from the front room of this home. This is one beautiful place to rest in God's country -the Oregon coast.

Everything was as advertised on the website. The house was beautiful and in a great location, the views were amazing and the community around Newport and Depoe Bay were exciting to explore! We visited the aquarium in Newport and walked through the shops along the bay, went crabbing, and ate at some fantastic restaurants. And then to top it off each night we got to come home to a beautiful sunset that we could watch from the living room! We even saw several whales in the surf while we were sitting at the dining table!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking to have a great beach getaway!!
From the time we walked in the front door we felt right at home. The first thing you notice is the beautiful view. The house was easy to find and in a small and quiet neighborhood. The master bedroom was great, the view from all the bedrooms was really amazing. The kids really enjoyed the yard. We had beautiful weather when we were there and were able to see almost everything we came for. Being able to make meals for the six of us was such a huge savings, so we really loved having a kitchen with a view. It was a little warm in the house in the afternoon so fixing the window that should open behind the TV would help get some air going through there. We loved our stay and will for sure stay here on our next visit. Thanks again, Cindy Kirk and family.
Unbelievable view of Beverly Beach! The house is cozy, clean, and well stocked. We were extremely comfortable and did not want to leave. Check in/out were very easy as well. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Oregon.
