Incredible Natural Beauty

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is truly is a secluded beauty. It's close enough to Custer to be convenient to stores and restaurants but once on the property you will feel like you are in the middle of nature. We saw deer with their fawns and wild turkeys in the yard as well as an abundance of songbirds. It is peaceful and quiet with only an occasional car passing on the gravel access road at the end of their long driveway. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The internet and cable worked well. The kitchen was well equipped and many food staples like tea, coffee and condiments provided. The owners called us upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are unsure which part of the Black Hills to stay in, I would highly recommend Custer. It was very centrally located to all of the major attractions. And I highly recommend this property.

Great Log cabin! Great location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at this secluded yet convenient log cabin. The huge deck outside was so nice for relaxing after a busy sightseeing day. The inside was spacious and comfortable for the entire family. The town of Custer is very close by where you can find great restaurants and shops. We happened to be there during a music festival which was very fun.

The location of this property was ideal to get to all the main attractions in the Black Hills. We would highly recommend this home and hope to be back someday!

Pictures don't do it justice

  • 5 of 5

Overall we were very impressed with the cabin. It was bigger and much nicer than what we expected based on the pictures. The amenities, location, view, was great. The only detail some may worry about is if you are on a motorcycle like we were since the road in is like a flattened gravel but we didn't have trouble since we took it slow.

We definitely recommend this cabin and would consider coming back to this cabin again in the future.

Great property!

  • 5 of 5

We had 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids) stay for 4 nights. We really enjoyed the cabin! It was clean and well equipped. And I loved the serenity of the area! The kids LOVED playing on the rocks behind the cabin, and we even had a family Capture the Flag game there. We went on a walk, jog and bike ride right from the cabin. The area was great in that we were easily able to explore Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore and the overall Black Hills. Close to Custer, so if we didn't want to cook one night, we could be in town within 5 minutes.

Beautiful home, wildlife every day, close to town but secluded.

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful rental. The home has everything you need and was immaculate upon our arrival. The property itself is also incredible. Deer, marmots, chipmunks, and squirrels were a constant source of entertainment. Plenty of rocks to climb and space to play. We spent evenings playing cards on the porch and enjoying nature with only an occasional car passing in the distance. Close to town but still secluded enough to feel like you're getting away.
