it was hard to believe that we could take two weeks off from our hectic life style in south florida in order to try for a relaxing vacation on lake tahoe.....we invited all known family members and friends to join us...this
house (it is by no means a cottage) is very beautiful.....during the two weeks we were joined by over 80
friends and relatives.....at one time we fed twenty for diner and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep
kids brought sleeping bags and crashed on the floor in front on the downstairs tv....tubing on the truckee
river is great.....casino is near enough to visit but not so near to want to stay late....i want to come back
here next summer.....hint make sure everyone will pitch in to clean up.....then let the fun start.....nws
Our family has vacationed here during the winter and summer and our expectations were exceeded. The owners have thought of their guests in alot of ways. From the world-class views that are well captured by the architecture to the useful details and comforts, we were very impressed. The kids loved the close access to the Homewood ski slopes in the winter and sumertime watersports right from the dock. We adults found plenty to entertain ourselves with also as there are a number of fun places to eat and drink that could be easily accessed by boat or car. We even crossed the lake by boat one day to visit the casino. I appreciated the direct, private access to the mooring buoy and dock which made it easy for boat outings and just swimming with the family in the crystal clear water. The living-floor deck makes a great perch to relax and watch the kids play on the dock and in the water. We found everything to be very clean and orderly and we would recommend this wonderful home to family and friends looking to rent luxury on the lakefront for sure. The owners are very nice with a wealth of knowledge and history in the area.
Best water skiing and wakeboard bay on Lake Tahoe.
