Enjoy 8 miles of deserted Gulf front beaches surrounded by 5,000 acres of Bald Point State Park. Take advantage of Alligator Harbor's sheltered boating and fishing marina. The area is known for some of the best fishing in the state and less than an hour from the Tallahassee airport makes Alligator Point the perfect location for a relaxing vacation.
'Pair-a-Dice' This spacious, 3 bedroom, gulf front beach home overlooks the Gulf of Mexico with 90 feet of private beach and beautiful views of Alligator Bay. The home's wraparound decks along with numerous windows make it possible for one to enjoy a dramatic water view from every room. The home is furnished with antiques and nautical handcrafts throughout. It has a panoramic tiled kitchen and living room for family gatherings, tiled bedrooms and bathrooms, and a captain's spiral staircase to the loft. Special areas are the master bedroom with a sitting area, and a fabulous outside covered eating area, and an outside shower
Central air, charcoal grill, fully furnished kitchen, bedroom with a sitting area, washer/dryer, 3 TVs, cable, and much more.
Swimming, fishing, shelling, sunbathing, birdwatching, biking, dolphin watch, boating, great seafood restaurants and markets. (It's worth the trip, just to eat). Golf course is 40 minutes away. It is a great place to rest, read and enjoy nature but it is not a resort destination with commercial entertainment.. Alligator Point is a very secluded, residential, unspoiled sand dune.
Come for the beach, the wildlife and great seafood. Panacea or Carrabelle iare the nearest area for grocery shopping and dinning. The entire area specializes in seafood restaurants and markets.
Wakulla Springs State Park, Panacea Gulf Aquarium, and Apalachicola are great day trips
This is a great house to take a family vacation. We have 4 kids (oldest 10 youngest 3) and they all loved it. We fished right off the beach everyday and caught Black Tip Reef Sharks, Stingrays, Redfish, SeaTrout and several other fish. We also saw a SeaTurtle and Dolphins swimming. A great area to look for sea sheals. This is a quite location for a family who loves to spend time together. If you are looking for a theme park or some place to drop the kids this is not the place. The house is in great shape and has awesome views. The owner of the house is fanastic to work with. Responds to emails or questions extremely fast and we received our deposit back within 5 days of checking out. The people who live in the houses that are around the house are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this location for anyone with family or a couple who is looking for a quite relaxing vacation.
This is our first time vacationing at Alligator Point. We absolutely love the house as well as the area.
The house is immaculately kept, well equipped and all the appliances/electronics/wifi are in good working condition. The linen and dishes are of excellent quality. The living area and the master suite is huge, with plenty of seating and access to the deck. The loft is very cute with 4 identical beds and boat seating, my 10-year-old calls it his own camp.
The beach is only steps away from the house. We simply left our beach chairs on the beach overnight. The area towards the end of Alligator Point (an easy walk from the house) is enchanting. We saw many crabs, dolphins and even a small stingray!
Kathy, the owner, is very responsive to my questions. The booking process went very smoothly.
All in all, we really enjoyed our vacation at Pair-a-dice. Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your wonderful house with us!
What a fabulous place! This is definitely the best end of Alligator Point as it is close to a bird sanctuary with miles of beach to walk. It was like being on my own desert island. Tide pools to explore, dolphins playing in the surf and a 50 species bird list, all with 100 yards of the deck! The amenities in the house were perfect. I would definitely stay again.
We just got home from Pair of Dice!! Not that we wanted to leave, we absolutely loved it!!! It was very relaxing and enjoyable. Kathy was absolutely great to work with. The neighbors were all super sweet. We had kids from 12-22 plus 2 couples. We fished, played in the water , collected shells and simply relaxed. Anyone wanting to get away from the tourist traps this is a great place to go. The only thing that could of made it even a little bit better would have been kayaks . I've stayed in many beach homes and this has been my favorite. Thanks so much!

We can't wait to go back again! Everything about our stay at this adorable home was fantastic. The home was clean, the decor sets the mood, the beach is beautiful, we essentailly had it to ourselves the entire week and it was like our own private paradise. If you are looking to get away and not worry about what tourist attraction you have to haul the family to next, this is the place for you. The owner of the home was wonderful, we had great communication and our deposit was returned very quickly and arrived with a nice hand written thank you note. The Big Top Super Market in Panacea while being small met all of our needs, the prices were great and the staff was super friendly. We truly can't wait for our next visit. Thank you so much Kathy!
Our family had a great time at your home! We never imagined we could have an ocean beach to ourselves, but 80% of the time we found ourselves enjoying the beach without anyone else around! The sunsets are amazing! The beach was beautiful and serene and we enjoyed watching the shrimp boats and the dolphins, which we saw several times. Our first morning, there was a dolphin swimming about 10 feet from shore, we were so excited! We also really enjoyed Panacea; between Crums and the grocery store, you can get everything you need. The hands on aquarium was great. We tried alligator and fresh seafood from the local sea food store. The alligator was great, the kids loved it. This is a great family destination. No crowds and no wild party people. It was quiet and peaceful, but our teenagers never got bored and they loved it. We fished from shore a lot and caught several cat fish, two sharks, a stingray, and a big jack crevalle. The home was clean and spacious. The owner kept in contact with us, and was very pleasant to deal with. We got our deposit back quickly. We cannot wait to go back! - The Kaiser Family
