The cabin is clean and comfortable, and Teresa has left no stone unturned when it
comes to supplying everything one could possibly need. Her attention to detail is remarkable.
As a couple of old timers walks through the woods were a bit much, but in my younger years I would have loved every step. Still we were up before the dawn and before we knew it we were watching the deer as the sunset. We will absolutely be requesting another visit.
My wife and I rented the lodge for a much needed weekend away! It was exactly as described! It is far enough off the beaten path that you truly feel secluded, but close enough to all sorts of activities to suit anyone's taste's! The brand new hot tub was spectacular, and the views from the cabin were amazing! We will definitely be coming back in the future!
Our family of four enjoyed this wonderful cabin over the long Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked every meal during our stay, from eggs and bacon to a whole chicken. We had planned to do alot of hiking, but the weather did not cooperate. We didn't care, though, because the cabin was so comfortable and fully stocked with games and DVDs. We did get a chance to walk the property which is so peaceful, and we lost count of the deer we saw. The cabin was spotless, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and extra blankets, everything in good working order... I can't think of a single thing I would change. This is a wonderful place to unplug and enjoy quality time with loved ones.
I've stayed with Teresa a few times and she is great to do business with very professional . The cabin is hidden away where is surrounded by a hill that horseshoes it in . It's a perfect place to go unwind or spend some quality time with someone or friends . The house is equipped with everything you need just bring the food . I always feel at home .
My boyfriend and I stayed this past weekend in early January for a winter getaway and the cabin was perfect! The pictures do not give justice to how cute and cozy it is. We really enjoyed the quiet and viewing the beautiful surroundings - they had just received a good amount of snow, so the woods and mountainous areas looked gorgeous! It made for lovely strolls through the woods and scenic drives around Beverly and Elkins, which had plenty of nearby stores, restaurants, and other historic attractions. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy dining in most days and nights and the cabin hot tub was fantastic - the perfect relaxation at the end of the day. Despite the cold raising the possibility of technical issues, Teresa ensured that we would still be able to enjoy the hot tub during our stay. We did not officially meet or see her, but she was lovely to book with and answered any and all questions we had. Our only wish was that we could have stayed for longer, but we hope to return again sometime in the future!
My 2 dogs and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights to get away from the stress of the city. It was a fantastic cabin at a great price, with the added benefit of no pet fee (which is rare). We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. I would love to go back again!
