Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Lori, We had such a wonderful time in your condo. It really was beautifully decorated and everything was so comfortable. The kids loved the snowboarding and definitely want to go again next year. You've done such a great job on the condo and we do appreciate all the work it must be to keep a place like that up and going.

Thanks again for everything! Shirley

Amazing time

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2009. We have had an amazing time and are really sad our time is coming to an end. The condo is fantastic and really has a lot of room for a large crowd. There were 9 of us and we had ample room with room to spare. The kitchen is VERY well stocked. The gas fireplace is nice and makes the room cozy. The whole place feels very homey! Working with the owners is great, the are very responsive and helpful. There wasnt much snow yet but we did get to go tubing and the kids had a lot of fun. The whole experience was great and we plan to do this again! Best Thanksgiving we have ever had!! THANK YOU!

Owner's Response: Our condo is like being in your home away from home with all of the ammenities you could need. The condo is beautifully decorated for Christmas and makes family get- togethers very relaxing and enjoyable! We are close to all of the great winter activities whether you enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, or snowmobiling. All this fun is within blocks of our condo.

Great homeowners and location was great.

  • 4 of 5

The homeowners were super great to work with. Very helpful and quick response. The condo is just down the street from the slopes, so the location was terrific. Thank you.

Condo at Giant Steps, Brian Head Ski Resort

  • 3 of 5

Condo is close to Giant Steps at Brian Head Ski Resort and convenient to Navajo as well. Condo held 11 of us. It was warm with a gas fireplace, very well insulated. It is a ski condo, ready for skiers. Parking for one car and storage for equipment in the garage. Condo is tired, nothing updated. Kitchen is small, the appliances/cabinets work but are broken or cracked, plenty of dishes, cups/glasses and silverware. The living room is spacious and has plenty of seating for everyone, the couches/chairs in the living room are worn, torn and need replacing. The bed mattresses need replacing as they are lumpy and uncomfortable. Plenty of towels, not enough blankets (also worn). The owners supply toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. a few sundry items in the kitchen, i.e. salt/pepper. The extra room, which you pay extra, is a storage space that has been carpeted and is accessed by way of a bedroom. Extra room has no windows and is so slanted you cannot stand up, again, mattresses need replacing as do linens. Decor is cute and condo had a Christmas tree which was a nice touch for the holidays. Cleaning crew could do a better job, bath rugs were dirty. Front door does not close unless the lock bolt is used. Free laundry facilities. As stated by the owner, VERY small water heater. Wifi was hard to access if more than three people were using tablets, etc. All that being said, we would rent again. We were out most of the time skiing, snowboarding and tubing. We made all our meals at the condo, played games and put puzzles together at the end of the day, so this condo worked for us for the price and convenience to slopes.

Excellent location, great for families

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this condo for 10 nights, with 7 people over the Christmas holiday. The condo has everything you will need to prepare meals for a large group, including plates, silverware, pots, pans, serving dishes, and small appliances. It is nicely appointed with rustic themed decorations and has plenty of seating. There is garage parking which is pretty tight for large vehicles, but a life saver when packing and unpacking in subzero temperatures. The free shared laundry room was super convenient and only steps away from the condo. There were lots of kids movies on DVD, which made nights back from the slopes relaxing. The owners were very quick to respond during the rental process and timely in returning our deposit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, we would definitely stay again.

Fun in beautiful BrianHead

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time in beautiful BrianHead in the summer. The kids had a great time on the ski lift, zip line, archery range, trampoline, climbing wall, etc. Loved the condo. It fit all 12 of us quite nicely (5 adults, 7 children). We used the extra loft which added plenty of beds, but it was a little hot there without much ventilation (surely not a problem in the winter). Lori was responsive to our needs and we enjoyed it all very much.

Spacious, tidy, clean, but dated

  • 4 of 5

The owner of this property was very responsive and assisted in making my stay easy and accessible. This property is the perfect location for hitting the ski slopes. It's very spacious and can accommodate large groups if desired. I come from the hospitality industry and have a keen sense of detail so I noticed a few things in which I dropped the above rating to a 4. For the overall assistance, cleanliness, location, and accessibility, I would rate this property a 5.

Here's the constructive feedback:

The property is very dated. Everything in the house is probably 1970's. The memory foam on the mattresses is very hard...probably from the cold but I chose to remove it...the mattress alone was better than how hard the memory foam was. There are nicks and scratches throughout the property. I assume it's just wear and tear from guests. The hall loft bathroom sink and lower master bathroom sink both need cleaning (they need pee-traps cleaned out...sinks fill up, clogged drains). The owner did mention that the microwave door had a crack in it...we actually didn't use it or look at it so I am not sure if it did or not.

Like I said, all the essentials are here and it's a great property for a large group. I would recommend it to others especially because the owner was so attentive.
