Walk to downtown biltmore village.Very clean, warm home. Tons of sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels. All the necessities you could need in a kitchen. Very child friendly, with toys and a pack and play! Great place.

Cute, heart of action but off the beaten path

  • 3 of 5

It is a lovely property, set back out of the action but still close enough to everything. We adored the back porch, glass windows so we could eat Thanksgiving dinner (for 14) and enjoy the surrounding property. The wood work art pieces are fabulous, and reclaimed pieces make the home very unique and charming. I gave it 3 stars only because it was slightly less clean then we would have liked. But, a bit of sweeping & dusting made the kids stay clean longer. Kid friendly with the available toys. First floor bedroom stayed cooler than the upstairs bedrooms. We would stay here again, knowing it accommodated us all; and the location.

Cozy house in Biltmore Village

  • 5 of 5
Verified Stay

We loved this quaint little house in Biltmore Village, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Had great meals at the Cantina and Village Wayside nearby. Lots of space for two couples, a great front porch and a clean, well equipped kitchen. Not too far from downtown Asheville. Brian was prompt and helpful in all his correspondence. Lots of magazines, maps and brochures to help us make plans.

Be sure to drive on The Blue Ridge Parkway, hike if you can and see some waterfalls. The Biltmore was interesting and worth a visit. Downtown Asheville is unique. And we really enjoyed a walk through the River Arts District.

Adorable cottage in a fantastic location!!

My sister and I loved the cottage! It is in a perfect and very safe location. We loved all of the artwork and furniture made by the owner, Brian. It had all the comforts of home. Even though you are in the heart of downtown, the wooded lot gives the illusion of being in the country. It was the best of both worlds. We will definitely stay there again! Thanks Brian.

Sincerely,

Jaimee and Shelly

Great craftsman house in the heart of Biltmore Village.

Close to the Biltmore House. Easy walk to breakfast down the hill. Loved perusing the shops in the village. Quiet house with the occasional sound of the train going through-loved hearing it when it did. Fabulous screened in back porch with bonus food all table. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the floors were uneven and the walls were a bit thin inside. Beautiful kitchen-well appointed. Would have loved to make a fire in the firepower of the weather had been a bit cooler.

Mountain Comfort with Downtown/Biltmore Closeness

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were in Asheville for my sister's wedding at the Basilica. This home was in the perfect location with the perfect amount of space. This charming house had unique touches of eclectic craftsmanship and decorating that is the picture of Asheville living.

The location was so close to downtown and the Biltmore, but without the chaos and noise of downtown. We could spend all day shopping and eating, to get to retreat to this beautiful mountain cottage. My daughter loved the fuse-ball table on the screened in back porch, and the adults loved the outside space for relaxing and reading. The house fit our needs perfectly, and was more than we expected!

We look forward to a return in the future.
