Adorable cottage in a fantastic location!!

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I loved the cottage! It is in a perfect and very safe location. We loved all of the artwork and furniture made by the owner, Brian. It had all the comforts of home. Even though you are in the heart of downtown, the wooded lot gives the illusion of being in the country. It was the best of both worlds. We will definitely stay there again! Thanks Brian.

Great craftsman house in the heart of Biltmore Village.

  • 4 of 5

Close to the Biltmore House. Easy walk to breakfast down the hill. Loved perusing the shops in the village. Quiet house with the occasional sound of the train going through-loved hearing it when it did. Fabulous screened in back porch with bonus food all table. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the floors were uneven and the walls were a bit thin inside. Beautiful kitchen-well appointed. Would have loved to make a fire in the firepower of the weather had been a bit cooler.

Mountain Comfort with Downtown/Biltmore Closeness

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were in Asheville for my sister's wedding at the Basilica. This home was in the perfect location with the perfect amount of space. This charming house had unique touches of eclectic craftsmanship and decorating that is the picture of Asheville living.

The location was so close to downtown and the Biltmore, but without the chaos and noise of downtown. We could spend all day shopping and eating, to get to retreat to this beautiful mountain cottage. My daughter loved the fuse-ball table on the screened in back porch, and the adults loved the outside space for relaxing and reading. The house fit our needs perfectly, and was more than we expected!

We look forward to a return in the future.

Great house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a long weekend / reunion (two couples and 1 child) and LOVED it! Great location, close to downtown and in a fun neighborhood. The house itself was perfect - enough room for everyone but also lots of group space (the living room, the sun porch not to mention the fantastic front porch we spent hours rocking on) for catching up! The house is kind of tucked away so you definitely still have privacy despite the close vicinity to Asheville's offerings.

The owner was really helpful and stayed in touch with us throughout the process. We will definitely be back!

Close and convenient for a Girl's getaway

  • 4 of 5

Everything was just as described. Even though it was really hot during our stay, the AC on the main floor and window units on the second floor cooled off the place quickly. Brian quickly responded to my questions during and after our stay. The back screened porch was our gathering place at the end of each day, was very relaxing, and the best part of this quaint home. It was a perfect location that was convenient to all that Asheville offers. We hope to stay here again!

sweet cottage on a hill

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at this property in Asheviile. It was conveniently located to all the tourism of the city and mountains. The house is very charming, lots of character, along with Brian's beautiful artwork. It was clean and the air conditioning was great! The beds were comfortable too. There's lots of space to sit and enjoy company. The back enclosed porch is fun and a nice gathering place. My kids and husband enjoy the fire pit in the front yard. Parking is a little tight, 2 cars fit ok right up on the side of the house on the hill. I thought we could park by the guest house across the way, but someone left a note that our car would be towed. So don't park there. This didn't deter our fun or enjoyment of the property, just thought I'd give a heads up about it for planning purposes. Overall, a great place to stay and plenty of room for 6 people.
