The Huntington Beach Cottages, built in 1907, have witnessed over one hundred years of Huntington Beach’s rich history, from its early inception as an oil-boom city to its transformation into today’s resort and tourist destination.
The cottages are two single detached family homes situated in the heart of downtown Huntington Beach. The cottages have been restored and remodeled numerous times, with the latest full remodel in late 2007/2008 with your vacation, family, and comfort in mind. The historic nature of the homes means that our job is never done, and we are continuously striving to improve the homes with you in mind. We hope that you will enjoy the homes’ original charms and quirks, as well as the comforts of having a home away from home.
The cottages are all two bedroom, one bath homes. They include full kitchens, living room and dining room accommodations as well as small patios with patio furniture and gas grill barbecues. Wireless high speed internet access is available in all homes.

About Delia Osorio
This Huntington Beach cottage just recently changed ownership in July, 2012. The new manager (and owner), Shirley Hsueh, has been living in Huntington Beach since 1978. We take great pride in our vacation rental and strive to provide our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The previous owners were committed to creating a home away from home and we are dedicated to do the same.
Why Delia Osorio chose Huntington Beach
This cottage was built in 1907 and have witnessed over one hundred years of Huntington Beach's rich history — from it's early inception as an oil-boom city to today's resort and tourist destination. You will notice this cottage does not have closets because houses from the early 1900s were built without closets since people were using armories. As you'll soon see if you stay in one our cottages, our frequent renovations and updates keep the cottages modern without losing any of its original charm. This 2 bedroom cottage was just completely furnished with brand new furniture and stainless steel appliances for your comfort. This cottage has a new outdoor cold/hot shower to wash off sand from the beach. We are continuously looking for ways to improve the quality for your comfort and would love to get your feedback by leaving your comments on either our guestbook or in the testimonials section of our website. With your help, we can maintain the quality and we're always happy to hear from you!

The house is lovely and was perfect for our group.
The house is in a great location, has a nice patio, has parking, and is in great condition. Coffee and tea supplies were provided. Only drawbacks were the bar nearby can be loud in the early hours and the sofa bed was not comfortable. Overall, a really good stay!
Beautiful home thats walking distance to the beach! Would stay again!
Beautiful home with a nice patio, close to the beach and nightlife. Plenty of space to relax with comfortable beds. We loved the cruiser bikes and beach gear that were available. Would definitely stay again!
Security concern, but house is great
The house was neat, clean and had lots of extras like boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and even a surf board. The problem was the municipal parking deck directly across the street. Our greatest concern, was the young men who were hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the parking deck at all hours. I am sure they were in the "distribution business" and as two moms with three kids, this was a bit unsettling.
Every night when the bar crowd would head home, we would be awakened as the party crowd retrieved their cars. Friday night was the worst, basically none of us slept from 1-4am. If you have big strong people and sound sleepers in your party, this is the place for you. Moms with kids like us, might feel safer elsewhere.
We enjoyed our stay
We had a great time in Huntington Beach. This was a great house, very comfortable, clean and great location. We loved having the bikes for long rides down the beach. Loved the back yard and the out door shower after being at the beach. The only complaint that we had was the noise at night, very loud yelling wildly from about 1:30am to 3:00am, it happened all 4 nights of our stay. We know that is a city issue and not the property managments fault, just thought we would mention it. But, all in all, we loved it!
Very nice place in a great location.
The house was as described. It is only 1 block from Main St Huntington Beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Plenty of room for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. The home was very clean and had all the kitchen utensils needed to cook at home. A lovely courtyard out the back, overall a very nice place and would definitely stay here again. The only negatives was that the television in the lounge room didn’t work. We contacted the agent and they came straight over to try to fix it but couldn’t and organised the cable company to come the following day. We did receive a $50 refund for our inconvenience which I thought was a very nice gesture.
Staying in this beach cottage was one of the best experiences of our families lives.
We rented this Beach Cottage to bring our family together for the celebration of life of our father and a baby shower for our daughter. It was the perfect place for a gathering and we all felt so blessed to be together in such a cozy home. Shirley was wonderful and immediately available for any questions we had. We can’t wait to stay there again!
