Like most homes on Harbor Island, 11 Ebbtide Court is elevated, leaving covered space below for parking up to 4 vehicles.
Upon entering the home, the main floor master bedroom is just inside the entry on your left. This room offers a queen bed, ceiling fan, and cable TV and has direct access to an adjacent bathroom with a large shower. That bath can be closed off with this bedroom to make a first floor master suite. Or it can be left accessible from the hallway as well as the bedroom for the convenience of other guests.
Past the bath is a large storage area with shelving---great as an overflow pantry. On the right side, there is a fully enclosed laundry room and a bright, open, galley style kitchen. Lots of kitchen cabinets, additional storage in the laundry room and the storage area across from the kitchen means you'll have more than enough room to stash groceries and other items out of the way of the living space.
The main floor living/dining/kitchen areas open to each other for great flow and easy mealtime and entertaining. You can seat 8 comfortably at the dining table, or 4 at the kitchen island for a more casual meal. Just a few steps to the back deck where the full size picnic table offers another dining option. The kids will love it!
The living area has a sofa, loveseat, and a comfortable arm chair for seating options, a flat screen cable TV with a DVD player, and a stereo radio with IPOD dock for your entertainment. (NOTE: fireplace is decorative only). Ceiling fans in the kitchen, dining area and living areas keep breezes flowing for your comfort.
On the second floor is the upstairs master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, and covered decks front and back. The enormous upstairs master, with a king bed, provides ample room for your clothing in a large closet, a chest of drawers, and four deep drawers in the armoire that houses the flat screen TV. The ceiling fan keeps the breezes flowing----especially when you open the sliding doors onto the master deck where the hammock beckons! A full en suite bath completes the second floor master amenities.
Also on the second floor are the other guest bedrooms. One with a queen bed, one with two twin beds. Both offer cable TV for your entertainment and ceiling fans for your comfort. The second floor guest bath is accessible from the hallway and offers a tub/shower combination. The short hallway opens onto the second floor covered front deck with views to the Harbor River, Saint Helena Sound and beyond.
Beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the home add to your overall enjoyment of the home. They tie the spaces together and speak of quality and care. Thank you for helping us protect the floors by leaving sandy shoes outside. As final amenities to enhance your stay we provide a propane grill for the chef in your party, and a sturdy beach wagon for transporting your beach gear the short walk from the house to the beach. The nearest beach walkway is about a block away and is the only walkway without steps, so the wagon will roll all the way from house to sand.
