My husband and I stayed at the suite with our 10 year old son for 4 days during President's week and loved our stay there. The apartment is gorgeous, beyond clean and ultra-equipped. Eleanor has thought of everything and provided all anticipated items. She has a fully equipped kitchen with condiments and, wait for it...a deluxe Keurig coffee machine--with several start-up k-cups. I was in coffee heaven! The furniture is beautiful and the entire apartment is tastefully decorated. We felt like native San Franciscans because the apartment is walking distance to so many historic sights and also walking distance to a mall that has a beautiful supermarket that sells everything from liquor to rib-eye steaks to ready-to-eat meals. We broiled steaks for dinner one night and had a nice night at "home". Also, we rented the parking space, which was icing on the cake. How luxurious is it to have a parking garage waiting for you when you arrive after the long drive from L.A.? Or after spending the day in Santa Cruz? My recommendation: Stay at this apartment, rent the garage and then make sure to plan a day trip down Route 1 to enjoy the breathtaking beaches and trails near San Francisco. We had an absolutely unforgettable time there. Thank you, Eleanor for your super-courteous goodies, your informative tips and for maintaining such a beautiful rental property. We plan to return!
Couldn't get a better location. Property was great - even had snacks and breakfast waiting for us which was great with late travel.
My husband, son and I just returned from a 4 night stay in SF. The location of the suite was perfect. We had tickets for Alcatraz and were able to walk to the pier where the ferry was docked in less than 10 minutes. We could also get to Chinatown, North Beach, the Wharf, and Ghirardelli Square very easily. The suite itself was not lacking a thing, but what made the visit outstanding was how attentive the owner, Eleanor, was. The trip was for my husband's birthday and I secretly flew his best friend in....Eleanor was willing to help sneak him into the suite while we were out to offer up the biggest surprise. She was also quick to respond to any other requests and even had snacks waiting for us when we arrived.
We all had a terrific time and would definitely want to stay here again when we return to the city. If you want a clean, well stocked, adorable, supremely located home away from home in SF - with an owner who makes you feel more than welcome - this place is for you!
This was a large and very clean rental. There were 2 large bedrooms, and it was minutes from the Wharf. Eleanor was very nice - she left snacks, which my kids happily ate. Everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfasts were there, including coffee (which made my husband happy). There were several cute coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance, so we enjoyed the location.
Great 2bdrm apt close to everything! Clean, spacious and exactly as described. Very quite at night. Great amenities, well furnished, and good service. The owner/mgmt company very hands-on! I have stayed at a lot of VRBO apts and this one ranks very high on my list.
Can't say enough about Eleanor's suite! The pride she has in her city was apparent when she met us at the door to tour the property. It was so clean and well appointed. She even left us snacks and sundries that were completely unexpected. Our family of 4 (2 teens) was very comfortable during our stay and loved the location. Everything you will want to do is nearby and can easily be accessed by walking or the Muni system. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here...we are already planning for a return trip. Thank you Eleanor!
The suite is just as beautiful as pictured. Our host was there to greet us. Gave us the tour and left a breakfast treat for us. There was a great deal of info regarding attractions, restaurant reviews in the suite. It was a perfect location to fishermens wharf and wonderful restaurants. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable for four guests. I would highly recommend this suite.
Located in northeastern area of SF, the 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite is very close to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Coit Tower, No. Beach, Chinatown and downtown. Very walkable area and close to public transit options such as cable car, streetcars, buses, and ferries.
