After you explore Main Street and the Hyannis docks ('Spanky's' Clam Shack' and 'The Black Cat Tavern'' are our favorites), go off the beaten path to 'Inaho' in Yarmouth for great Sushi and Japanese food. 'The Yarmouth Inn' has that classic early American feel with a robust menu. The Hyannis Yacht Club & ferry services to Martha’s Vineyard/Nantucket (Hy-Line Cruises) are a 5-minute drive or easy walk. See live performances, unique films and exhibits at the Cape Playhouse, Cotuit Arts Center, and Cape Cod Art Museum. Agri-Tourism Farms and “Edible Cape Cod” Farmer’s Markets bring back times past with “Pick Your Own” options, tours, hikes, and hayrides. Poke along Route 6A’s antique shops and bookstores. Book collectors and avid readers, be sure to visit Parnassus' Books in Yarmouthport for a trip back in time among thousands of books. Local golf courses abound, so bring your clubs. A day trip to Provincetown's artist community provides distinctive wares and a bustling enclave of talent. The local Truro Winery on the way to Provincetown offers tours and specialty wines. We are very lucky to have friends and guests who appreciate the things that matter and take time to be with family and friends. There is always peace and quiet, and Mother Nature provides great surprises on a daily basis. Our osprey population is up this year. We look forward to the southern migration this year. Fall will be a gorgeous time to see a myriad of birds on their migration paths. Please visit us again. We look forward to seeing you another time. Elaine and John

Cozy and accommodating house w/ a great location

  • 5 of 5

Its a great answer for a secluded cozy house that is close to the beach (walking distance) and the downtown restaurants and stores. Its a quiet dead end street, so there is no thru traffic or road noise. It has all the amenities needed to feel at home away from home. Very polite and responsive ownership...thanks Elaine!! Its a clean, well maintained house, with areas to sit inside and out, or make a quick trip to the beach...

Hundred times better than a hotel or b&b...and more affordable....after completing the 100 mile bike ride from Boston to the Cape for Best Buddies, all I wanted to do with my family (of 4) was relax....28 Norris Street was exactly what I was hoping for!

Wonderful rental! Superb location!!

  • 4 of 5

This rental was the perfect place for our situation!!! It was centrally located for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception my children were attending while in Hyannis. It was a beautiful weekend (in the 80's) so my grandson and I were able to walk down the street and enjoy the nearby beach. We also walked to Main Street for an outdor breakfast at The Egg and I. The house was terrific with all the amenities and was very clean!!! I would definitely recommend this home.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. We strive to accommodate our guests' needs, and when a family event is their prime reason for choosing our location, we hope the charm, peace and quiet of our bungalow makes their stay even better. Join us! We are open year-round and are a great alternative for conventions and family gatherings. The holidays are coming! If you will be in the area to celebrate with family, consider staying in your own "home" for a more comfortable getaway.
