One mile from the Town Square
I am retired but spend time managing my home-away vacation rental listings. I have one daughter and 2 grand children. I spend time at my Scottsdale Az and Prescott Az homes and enjoy gardening water sports hiking and riding my mountain bike. And of course taking my dog ' Bella ' out for her morning walk.
Bob purchased this Studio in 2011
Why Bob chose Prescott
Its near the Town Square and inside the city limits with all city services......almost a half acre of tall pine trees.... makes this home shaded in the summer months with very little need for air conditioning . It cools down to about 60 @ night in the summer months. Its located on one of the most popular downtown historic area`s West Prescott.
What makes this Studio unique
One of the most affordable rental unit available in the downtown Prescott area. We have a paved onsite parking space for your car. The guest studio is single story 1st level. Its attached to the back end of the main house. It`s not a loft that has been built on top of the main house garage with steep stairs. All walls are insulated and you have your own entrance door. I have a check-in / check out sheet inside for your review . I have an inside dog ' Bella ' she is about 55 pounds loves company , but will bark when persons come near to my front door.

Great little place
Great little place with a nice outdoor space in the pine trees. Very clean and comfortable for a small studio. Stocked with all I needed. Location was nice with a trail out the back through the trees and then a nice walk to old town through some nice neighborhoods. Bob the owner was really nice and very accommodating. I felt like it was my own place. I will definitely come again.
Very nice stay!
Lots of comforts provided in this small studio space! Bob greeted us when we arrived and left us alone during our entire stay. Although, he was available if we needed anything. Great place, VERY nice wooded area. Back yard was nice spot to enjoy an evening cocktail. Took a moonlight walk. Very close to whiskey row and the courthouse square. Thanks, Bob, for allowing us an enjoyable stay!
Guest Studio in the Pines
If you are looking for a quite place to rest your head and relax, Bob's studio in the pines is the perfect spot. The studio is in a lovely neighborhood, surrounded by trees and nature. The patio is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the wind blow through the trees. Bob provides everything you may need while you are there. We would recommend and stay again.
Too small and cramped of a space for the cost. I could hear every conversation the owner had through the walls.
The worst part was the owner questioning my use of a registered service animal who was perfectly well behaved. I felt violated when he inquired as to the reason why I needed a service animal.
This is my 5th year hosting the Prescott Guest studio with all 4 and 5 star reviews. Prescott is an expensive town to visit. You were lucky to find a place to stay and bring your dog along for the low rate you paid with no added pet fee charged for your dog. All the walls in the Studio are insulated for sound. You are the first guest that has complained about any sounds from the main house. Please next time you book on Home Away follow the rules and tell the owners you request to bring your dog along. Don`t just show up with a dog with no prior approval. Service dogs included.
I stay at many places because I’m a travel nurse. Bob’s place was quiet and very cozy. I felt safe. This is important to me. No place is perfect but this was close. It’s good for one person and her dog. Which, by the way, is also difficult to find a place that accepts pups. Bob was very friendly and a great host. And his neighbors were lifesavers during the 20 inches of snow that fell upon Prescott. They helped me shovel snow to get my car in the driveway. Bob was away for that. Lucky him! 😂. My stay there was truly wonderful because of the property and convenient location. I definitely recommend staying there and so does my pup.
Loved our stay
We enjoyed our stay very much. Even though its a studio size place, it had plenty of room for the 2 nights we were there. The location was great, beautiful pines and we saw deer in the morning. It had a great back yard area for our dog to get some exercise and 'sniffs' he cant get in the city. He had so much more pep in his step when out walking. The house is not far from town yet you get the feel of being out in the country pines and fresh air. Everything was very clean, well stocked and nicely decorated.
Prescott hosts annual events ....In April....Whiskey Mountain bike race....May....Highland Games.....June ....Blue grass festival.....July ....Rodeo....Aug.....Film Festival / Cowboy Poets....Dec.....Acker music festival....to name a few.
