My name is Art Gardner from Berryville, AR. I drew up the house plan for this house, with inspiration from God. My wife, Linda, and our four sons and one daughter all had a hand in building it. I am a licensed heating and air contractor and well as building contractor. My wife works at a pre-school. We have also raised boer goats for the past few years. I grew up and lived in Western Kansas until moving to Arkansas in 1988. Linda was born and raised just across the line in Missouri. We enjoy spending time with our kids and seven grandchildren.
Art & Linda Gardner purchased this house in 2001
We actually built this house as a spec home. When it did not sell we started renting is out as a vacation home.
Within an hours drive of most all area attractions. You will love spending lots of time of the deck enjoying the quiet and spectacular view. You might even spot an eagle or two and most certainly some deer.
We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home! The deck is absolutely awesome! We were a bit disappointed that the ammenties was not a covered issue but it didn't ruin the trip. (i.e. the pool etc)
Again the house and deck were very enjoyable to stay in!
This place was great! Plenty of room for our family. Great big screen TV for viewing bowl games on. The first house we have rented that was stocked with things like enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry supplies, hand soap at each sink, and the list goes on and on!! It is the perfect place for a large family to gather for a family event!! Thanks Art and Linda for renting to us!!!
What a lovely home - the decks are truly spectacular. My sister and I cooked Thanksgiving dinner together for 10 adults and 3 children... in an unfamiliar kitchen. Successfully. This alone would have made the holiday a win - however, our stay was wonderfully enhanced as the accommodations were perfect for us. Plenty of spreading out room, plenty of space for toys and food and games. We felt at home right away as there were all the "necessary things" right at hand in every room - plenty of linens and comfortable beds, bedside tables, lamps, a rocking chair, a high chair, NICE kitchen cookware, all the details. I recommend this location highly and appreciate the thoughtful preparation made for us by our hosts. Thank you, Art and Linda, for sharing your home with us. Did I mention that the decks are TRULY spectacular? We took our littles on stroller rides around the perimeter of the top deck while we visited out among the views. A bonus we never expected.
8 of us came to the Ozarks for golf and had a wonderful experience at the Gardner house. Clean, roomy, convenient and with a great view. Everything worked and the price was right.
The property was excellent. The owners were very friendly and personable. I would recommend this property to any family or group.
We have been having a big family reunion in Eureka Springs for the past 3 years between Christmas and New Years with a total of 30 family members attending. We usually rent several houses and this year one of them was Art and Linda's house. In every way it exceeded our expectations and the pictures don't do it justice. What was really remarkable was how they dealt with a problem with a fan motor in the heating system which occurred on the first day. They immediately drove from their home (an hour away) and spent several more hours personally fixing the problem by replacing the motor and making sure that everything was perfect. Our stay was great in every way.
We had 6 adults and 6 kids over thanksgiving. The house was perfect for that as it had 2 large living areas on different floors so the kids and adults could be separated. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a huge thanksgiving feast. It was close to Eureka Springs and about 20 mins from the great mountain biking and hiking trails at Lake Leatherwood. You can also run from the house to paved trails that run along the local gold course greens.
We left a pair of snow boots behind and Art was very helpful in getting them and meeting us in Tulsa the following week to pass them on when he was passing through.
About 15 minutes to Eureka Springs and the Passion Play. Branson, MO, Silver Dollar City, Bass Pro and other area attractions are only a short drive away. Table Rock Lake and Beaver Lake are close by.
