The perfect location for the perfect week on Cape Cod in Harwich Port, a quaint, historic seaside village recently listed in 'Coastal Living Magazine' as one of America's Happiest Seaside Towns, it rents weekly in season and nightly off season. Built only 10 years ago, it is attached to our 1850 Greek Revival 'Sea Captain's' house, is on a quiet street almost within the village with little shops, wonderful restaurants and only 700 yards to a beautiful warm water beach on Nantucket Sound. The property is around the corner from a 9-hole golf course and is a short distance to a ferry that leaves for Nantucket Island three times daily in season.
The unit is light and airy with cathedral ceilings and a private 2nd floor entrance off your own deck. There is a separate king bedroom (converted to two twins on request) and a large bath with a walk in over-sized shower. Complimentary cot is available which can fit in the bedroom if desired. The large bedroom air conditioning unit cools both rooms with ceiling fans. We have an enclosed hot/cold water outdoor shower for after those days at the beach.
We welcome pets for a small additional fee and offer outside space for relaxing or sunning. We also provide beach towels, chairs and an umbrella to use and have safe storage for bicycles.
An excellent offering for a single, couple or small family at a reasonable price. Space most comfortable for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept PayPal and checks.

My husband was born, raised and educated in New England and always knew he would settle on Cape Cod after leaving our business in the suburbs of Boston. We chose Harwich for it's friendly village atmosphere and convenience to easily reaching all the Cape has to offer. We have a home-based business selling antiques, with a specialty in fine art, through our website and by traveling around the Eastern U.S. where we exhibit at antique shows. We love to spend any spare time traveling to interesting destinations around the world. Our combined family of 7 adult children includes 2 granddaughters (one in Australia!), 2 grand-doggies, 1 grand-cat and our siamese 'master' Mario.

We put this addition on our home to accommodate a needed garage storage, a new kitchen for cooking and entertaining and to accommodate our combined family of 7 adult children from various parts of the country, off season, and as a rental in the summer season.
We enjoy our quiet, convenient location for long neighborhood and beach walks, nearby access to the Cape Cod bike trail and spacious yard and deck for relaxing and vegetable gardening. We also love the character and charm of our antique home.
The apartment was perfect for my/our needs. It is light, airy, well-decorated, clean, comfortable, well-stocked...the list goes on and on. I had high expectations for the apartment even before I arrived from pictures I had seen and communication I had with the owner. I am delighted to say when I got there, everything exceeded my already high expectations. Each day, we were busy out and about all over Cape Cod. In the back of my mind, I knew that at night we would be returning "home". It literally felt that way. It so far surpasses a hotel room. We ate in the meals we wanted to eat in and ate out only when we wanted to. The hosts are delightful. There if you need them and very helpful, but not obtrusive in any way.
For me, the location was perfect. Easy to get to most areas of the cape without a particularly long car ride. While I love a good miniature golf course and T-shirt shop now and then, I don't want to be surrounded by them. The town is quaint and very tasteful.
Easy access to nearby beaches and a short drive to the CC National Seashore.
If you're still wondering whether this apartment is right for you, consider if what I described above appeals to you. If so...YES, YES, YES!
My husband and I have stayed here for 3 or 4 years now. It is just perfect for a couple who wants to be in a scenic area and close to the beach. The rental is a 1 bedroom apartment over the garage. It has a living room that is open to the kitchen. There is wifi and cable as well. The apartment is always clean, well equipped, and quiet. Our favorite part about this property is it's proximity to Bank Street Beach. The walk is just under a mile. We bought a cart and now the walk is enjoyable, plus it saves money on a parking pass. You can also walk to town very easily (closer than the beach) for food, shopping and ice cream. We had stayed in B and Bs, Inns, Motels, and rental homes and this beats all of them for a party of 2.
