Both my wife and I love skiing and travel. We have always prided ourselves in making our home an enjoyable destination for our renters so they can feel at home during their vacation. Please check out our other properties: We have a condo at the Summit Vista Resort in Bartlett, NH, close to skiing, hiking and Storyland (HomwAway # 3594820) and a beautiful Cottage on Little Sebago Lake in Gray, Maine (HomeAway #183652).
Richard purchased this Condo in 2003
Why Richard chose Newry
After checking several different mountains, we realized the South wing of the Fall Line Condo's at Sunday River offered the best ski-in ski-out access to the mountain. There is no need to take a shuttle to the lodge or walk across a parking lot. You can step out the door and step into your skis or board and head to the South Ridge Lodge. The center of the resort.

Stay away - Glorified college apartment with inconsiderate owner
The good: Right on the ski slope. Great access to the mountain. Location.
The bad: Felt like I was in a college dorm upon arrival. Unit is very small with rather outdated/cheap furniture, appliances, and bathroom.
The ugly: Owner withheld 50% of security deposit. But the worse part was him feeling the need to tell me we were essentially the worst tenants he's had in 15 years and my family has a different definition of clean than he. He'll most likely respond that we sinned by not adequately cleaning the dishes, leaving the back door unlocked, oh and he found a spot of spaghetti sauce - the horror!!
If you must stay in this building, there are plenty of other units with owners who won't insult you on the way out and dock you $$ to boot. Stay away!!
Thank you for your review, but I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with the experience. This is our vacation home and we have taken great pride in maintaining and caring for the unit over the years. We have also had many guests stay in the unit over the years and all have been very pleased with the accommodations.
You are correct in saying the location has great access to the mountain and that the building is dated. It was built in the 1980’s, like most of the other condo properties on the mountain and therefore is dated, but has a very good reputation for being a very clean and well maintained building. Our unit has been updated over the years and I think the pictures and description can speak for themselves as to the size of the unit and how the interior looks. We personally ensure the unit is thoroughly cleaned before each guest arrives. We did not hear from you during your stay of any problems or concerns so we can only assume that everything was acceptable.
When it comes to a security deposit, we take it very seriously. Fortunately we have not had to retain any portion of a security deposit from any of our guests since we have rented this unit and we were not happy to find the need to retain a portion of yours.
I hope you find your next rental experience more enjoyable.
Comfortable for a short weekend
Seems like a great location for ski in/ski out during the winter ski season. We did a short spring ski weekend and did have to drive down to other base to get on and off lifts. Overall though a great experience
I am glad you had a great time. Although the snow was unbelievable this year, sadly Sunday River begins consolidating there services in the spring time by closing some lifts. When you made your reservation they had not indicated their spring schedule yet. This is why I asked if you were familiar with the mountain and mentioned terrain would be limited. Please come back next winter when all 8 peaks are open. It's a great mountain to explore.
Fall Line Condo
It was an awesome place. Clean and nicely maintained. Ski in and out!
Pefect location. Everything was ready for us when we checked in very late at night.
Could not have asked for a better place and owner was very easy to work with.
Would love to stay there again next year!
Lovely, little, ski in/out spot. Clean, cozy and well stocked.
Despite a lack of snow we had a great time visiting Bethel, checking out the local shops and restaurants, swimming in the pool, hiking and even visiting the covered bridge.
Good location for ski in and out. Need to bring your own swimming towels for pool.
Great condo. Great location
We really enjoyed the ski in/ski out aspect of this condo. Such easy access to everything.
The Bethel area has a number of festivals and events throughout the year to include the Maine State Triathalon, Mollyockett Days, Fall Festival, Parriott Head Festival, Arts and Crafts Festival and many others. The area is surrounded with numerous places for hiking and fishing and of course all that Sunday River has to offer with skiing, boarding, tubing, ziplines and the list keeps going.
