I would like to thank you for the rental of the studio on Perry Street. We had a wonderful holiday in New York and we found very pleasant street. I hope to return to this great city very soon and to stay again in this apartment!
Have stayed here several times, and find the neighborhood enjoyable, with easy
access to all areas of Manhattan.
We had an amazing stay! Everything you need in a quaint compact space! If available, we would definitely be back next year! Couldn't ask for a better location either!
Positive points : the studio is well situated, at 7 minutes de walk des stations de metro de St Christopher and 14 street.
The matress is confortable, some items of drysalter's shop at disposicion are appreciable
The district is very quiet
The reactivity de Yuiri the owner in case of problème.
Negative points : This studio is very badly ordered, furniture is too cumbersome,
the bed should be replaced by a sofa bed.
As there is no cupboard, we were obliged to leave our clothes in our open suitcases permanently, as the studio is 20 square meters, it is difficult to move
The light of natural does not come in, windows being difficult of accés, it is difficult to open them, thus hardly possible to cook because of the smells.
It was our 6th journey in New York, I would like that the owner envoit photos to Home away, it is inadmissible to rent this place so expensive.
This apartment was exactly as advertised. Yes it is a small studio basically room for 1 or 2 people. The owner quickly responded to all emails. We used it mainly as a place to sleep. If you are looking for fancy this is not for you. We loved the location for exploring lower Manhattan.
We stayed in the West Village Apartment in May 2016. You cannot beat the location of this apartment, right in the heart of the West Village! There are tons of restaurants, cafes, bars, bakeries, great shopping all within easy walking distance!! We looked into many different areas of the City, and found this to be the most full of things to do that are very close. The HIgh Line was just about a mile away. Magnolia Bakery, famed for their cupcakes is a block away (and the best buttercream icing, I have tasted)! Bleecker Street Pizza, for one of the best slices, is a few blocks away. Try Westville Restaurant, 2 blocks away for a really good selection of fresh foods, and they do an array of vegetable dishes that change daily based on what looks best at the market. Tartine is a french cafe, with the best french onion soup I have ever had. We ate there several times during our stay. Lots of architecture, don't forget to just stroll the streets in the neighborhood. The apartment itself is a small, studio apt., but, clean and has everything you need. Small stove and small fridge and sink. Bed was pretty comfortable. Apartment is very quiet at night. The owner, Yuriy was very responsive. Definitely recommended! We even saw actor John Slattery (Roger Sterling from Mad Men) at the end of our street one night!
The place was not fancy but had all the necessary basics plus it was fairly clean, the bed was comfortable, the towels nice. The microwave, fridge, TV and stove all worked as expected. More important, the owner quickly responded to any questions and the location was very convenient. We would feel comfortable renting this place in the future.
