Guestbook comments from the owner

Hello Carmen,

I am really sorry for the delay in contacting you. We had a fabulous holiday and absolutely loved your beautiful lodge. Ray was like a seven year old at Disney World, he was so excited! He was almost overwhelmed with the choice of fishing spots. He says it was actually a bit like being on the set of a Disney movie... standing out in the river watching a herd of elk cross over to the other side, a golden eagle swooping across the sky; moose sheltering in the woods from the rain.... and of course the black bear that ambled down and took a drink form the Gallatin, before crossing over to the other side! (Luckily the bear appeared on the last day when Ray was by himself and I was relaxing in your lodge because I probably wouldn't have gone near the river again!) It's a long, long way from life in Belfast!

Kind Regards,

Hilary

Private hideaway in Big Sky

  • 5 of 5

Greet place, warm floors, gas logs, steam shower and well a stocked kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay at your well appointed home. Two bedrooms downtstairs and loft bedroom up. Internet service was good to have. We enjoyed cooking and the convenience of driving one mile up the road to Big Sky for great dining, shopping and of course skiing. Also the enclosed garage at the top of the hill made getting in and out a breeze. We will be back for sure! Thanks Joanna.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house! It's so beautiful and serene. It's so close to everything and tucked away in a private setting. Loved sitting outside every morning and listening to the water. The whole process was very easy. I would recommend this house for sure.

Amazing house! Highly Recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved this house. Everything about it was great and everything we needed was provided, aside from going to the grocery store to buy food. Waking up to the sound of the river was perfect and we loved down time sitting outside and reading by the river. The house is perfectly located so you can walk to town to eat (about a mile walk via a nice bike path) or drive and only be in the car for a few minutes. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Big Sky!

Sandie

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I met my two brothers and their wives for our annual get-together. We enjoyed a four night stay over the July 4th holiday and it was wonderful! Although we did take a couple of short day trips, we spent most of our time at the cabin enjoying the beautiful river. We had the pleasure of befriending a family of American Dippers (ouzels) who were nesting above the patio. Watching the babies leave the nest and the parents teaching them to navigate the rocks along the river - and diving/swimming in the water! - was amazing. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks was hypnotic and truly brought about a peacefulness that's hard to find in our everyday lives. The cabin itself was nicely decorated, very well stocked (cooking items, linens, bathroom items, etc.), and was spotless upon our arrival. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet Carmen, but she was so easy to work with both before and after our trip. We found everything exactly as promised with no issues of any kind.

Big Sky ski weekend.

  • 5 of 5

Closing weekend of skiing at Big Sky Resort and our stay was excellent and the cabin is well equipped for everything you need to walk in and be right at home. Kitchen is well stocked with all amenities for cooking, and cleanup, and bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and well stocked with linens and towels and such with no need for any shopping other than our own meal prep!
