This townhouse is very centrally located on the island. It is behind private security gates, but literally within very easy walk or bike ride to everything. There are miles and miles of beautiful bike paths through out the Plantations and the whole island. You really never have to get in your car if you do not want to do so.
From the balcony off the Master bedroom and from the patios off living room and lower level, you will see alligators, Snowy Egrets, turtles (one named Cyclops who eats out of your hand), a miriad of birds including 2 resident owls (Tom and Jerry) all while sitting under the shade of magnificent magnolias and live oak trees. Truly healing for the soul...
The townhouse was very clean, comfortable and close to the beach. The scenery was beautiful and the pool was great for a relaxing swim at the end of the day. The very few mechanical problems we encountered were quickly fixed by the owner. We had a great time and we highly recommend this property.
Location, location, location!! This property is in the heart of the island and is tucked inside a beautiful gated community. Pool is within a short walking distance from the property and beach access is 1.5 miles away, which the owner makes very accommodating with a car pass and plenty of beach chairs, as well as an umbrella (no need to rent on beach - very over priced anyway!).
We rented bikes during our week (highly recommend!) and rode all over exploring!! Most enjoyed riding bikes on the beach, watching the sun rise - amazing beauty!
The owners home is so very comfortable and is well stocked with everything!! We loved the patio - it was so relaxing to sit out back and enjoy the breeze, watching the golfers hack on the green and all the wild life living in the community.
Overall, we would definitely return to this property again. Owner was easily approachable during our stay and provided multiple tourist tips, ie. Harbour-Town is a must visit !!!
This has been our third winter staying on HHI in three different plantations. The spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit in this small townhouse complex of Shipyard has turned out to be a perfect fit for us. Situated with the golf course just on the other side of a small lagoon, this unit has the most spectacular sunrises we have experienced on the island. While we were unable to utilize the pool and tennis court, it’s very close to the condo. This unit could not be more convenient in it’s location. It is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, bike rental, CVS, Harris Teeter and many other shops. We even walked to the movies, our haircuts, the post office and an art class at the Art Academy on Cordillo. There is ample parking and even a covered “carport” for one car.
Two of the three bedrooms have en suite baths; the spacious living room/dining room area is light and bright with a high ceiling and a skylight. We found the kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware, food staples and cleaning supplies, etc. The unit was immaculate upon our arrival.
The owner, Diana, is very responsive, friendly and has been so easy to work with throughout. She went over and above to make our time here very enjoyable.
Sadly, our three-month stay is coming to an end. There is no doubt that we would love to have stayed longer. We highly recommend this lovely condo for a getaway to Hilton Head.

Let's stat with location,location,location.We have found memories of of the people and places we met and the place itself and we are looking forward to returning.I highly recommend this condo but please don't book when I plan to rent... Darn, maybe I should have played down my review. Oh well that's too late now.have a great experience as we enjoyed.
Diana the owner, was extremely accommodating. She is a very gracious lady who wants your stay to be worry free. We had 2 small issues;1) there were some lights out and the on premise replacements were the wrong type-a quick trip to Bi-Lo and problem resolved. We purchased a few extras so the next renters would have them on hand.2) the garburator acted up but Diana had a plumber there next day. The unit was perfect in size (for 2 couples) as it afforded us plenty of space, has a wonderful back patio overlooking the lagoon and it's natural wildlife (gator & turtles), quiet and relaxing. As this is a gated community you feel safe and walking the paths throughout the plantation is a joy. We were able to walk to 3 restaurants just outside the plantation as well as the church was a brief walk. For golfers the course is easily accessible and well maintained. Hilton Head itself has plenty to do and is a short drive to Bluffton shopping malls and the history of Beaufort. Hated to leave. The pictures supplied by Diana are spot on, this place is exactly as advertised. We are contemplating a return to Eden!
We've been coming to Hilton Head since the mid 1980's,when you are away from home for more than 4 months you want a spacious and confortable place to stay that will please me and my husband, a couple who has differents activities should look for a compromise but your house has it all,the beach, the stores, grocery, bike path, golf, Colony Plaza, restaurant and all of this within a short walking distance. When we left for 7 days to go back to Canada and came back, i felt i was back home ...it was even pleasant to keep it clean. What you see on the photos is really like that, Diana the owner has been so accomodating. We were very impressed with the charming and cosy decor of the unit.
Volleyball on beaches, tiki huts and exotic drinks on wide sandy beaches, shopping and fresh local seafood in abundance.
