We invite you to LIVE LIKE A LOCAL in our quarter. Whether you are walking in between the ancient buildings down the narrow streets dotted with historical markers, browsing at the boutique shops which all look like a “museum” of their specialties, or mixing in with the college profs and students in a café nearby, do slow down and enjoy the aroma of the buttery pastries, listen to the surrounding melodic voices, watch the people embrace and kiss, and sink yourselves into the true Parisian life.
Staying at our studio, the Carrefour de l'Odéon is your own living room with so many choices of people watching spots, just a couple of steps from your door. And ...waiting in line to dine at the renowned Le Comptoir is never an issue!
The mezzanine provides a separate sleeping quarter that is private and cozy. It is actually a big plus for a compact size studio, as you can slip into the living room with your coffee in the morning without having to look at a messy bed. ;-)
As posted on Airbnb.com on 1/28/17- “My wife and I stayed at this centrally located St. Germain loft for 3 nights. We absolutely loved it. Situated in possibly one of the very best parts of St. Germain this loft gave us access to everything Paris has to offer. Some of the most famous brasseries in Paris are minutes away. The loft was well equipped, although the dishwasher was not working at the time. Our host Susan (friend of Michelle) was so kind and friendly and helpful. We stayed during the coldest time of the year and she had already warmed the loft for us before we arrived. There were nice amenities like Nespresso and even a small bottle of wine. The bed was in the loft area and it is a small space and very cozy. We will definitely stay again. ”
This place is in a great location. You get the feel of what it is like to live in Paris. Every time we run into Paris residents in the states and tell them where we stayed they are impressed because it is not a normal tourist area. We found the restaurants in this area to be much more affordable than other areas of Paris. The food was exceptional but has a more family feel to it which was good again for the experience. We walked everywhere, the tower and the tourist area across the river. There is a food market that we went to about 3 or 4 blocks around the corner for cooking in the apartment.
The apartment itself was great. Very secure and peaceful. You do not hear the city noise as it is in a center court yard. Controlled access from the street. Much better experience than staying in a hotel. I would stay here again.
My husband and I had an excellent stay at Monsieur le Prince studio! We truly felt as though we were Parisians. We have visited Paris many other times, but the opportunity to stay in an apartment made this Paris experience much more personal. The location is perfect, steps away from the Metro and, very important, a velib station, as well as multiple cafes, restaurants and shops. The studio is small and has limited storage space but its charm makes up for that. Michelle is a genius at anticipating whatever her clients might need. I was very impressed at the alacrity with which Michelle responds to any communication or handles any problem. You get more than an apartment, you get a concierge!
We can't wait to return and will gleefully refer any friends and family to stay at this lovely abode.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this charming apartment for 10 days in late March 2016. From the beginning stages of booking the apartment to the arrival as well as during our stay and departure, the owner Michelle and her colleague Susana were extremely helpful. Michelle made the rental process simple and straightforward. Her quick response to our many questions was sincerely appreciated.
Upon arrival, Susana met us at the studio and provided a tour and walked us through using all of the appliances as well as a good understanding of the neighborhood and nearby metro system. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need or want. The kitchen is well equipment and we were able to cook several dinners using the cook stove, oven, etc. We loved the use of space in this studio and appreciated all of the little extras that Michell has provided (including a Nepresso coffee maker and complimentary bottle of wine). The washer / dryer was a huge bonus as well. The apartment is small - as is 90% of the apartments in Europe. However, this studio features everything you could need for a couple or a small family of four including a comfortable pull out couch/bed. The loft bed above the kitchen was extremely comfortable.
The location of this studio is phenominal! It is located nearby many cafes and restaurants, within one block to the metro, as well as Velib bicycle stands and banks/ATM machines. St. Germain is extremely charming with the Pont Neuff Bridge located just a few short blocks away. We did not experience any issues with noise from the nearby cafes or bars at night.
We highly recommend this apartment - and will definitely be booking again on our next visit to Paris. Thanks Michelle and Susana - for making our first visit to Paris so enjoyable and memorable! Brad & Marilyn
My husband and I visited Paris and stayed in this darling apartment from March 18th through March 28th 2016. The owner Michelle made the arrangements very simple and was always very quick to answer our many questions. When we arrived in Paris, we were met by Susana (Michelle's colleague) at the apartment. Susana escorted us through the apartment and explained how everything functioned. There is also a very imformative booklet that provides instructions on how to operate everthing in the apartment, including the television, Nespresso coffee maker, washer/dryer, dishwasher and more. It also provides some wonderful recommendations on restaurants, and contact numbers for taxi service etc. The added hospitality of a lovely bottle of wine was a wonderful way to welcome us!
The apartment is small, but it was perfectly suited to our needs and no smaller than many of the apartments in Paris. The bed (located in the loft above the kitchen) was very comfortable. My husband is 6'2" tall and prior to arrival, I had worried that it may be difficult for him to rest. That was not the case. We slept soundly & confortably in the loft bed. The neighborhood is quiet at night. There is a bar located a few doors down from the apartment. However, we never experienced any noise related to this bar. I can also report that as of March 28th - the bar that had been located directly below the apartment is still closed and has a "for-sale" sign on the door.
There is the typical noise that is found from living in an apartment building with neighbors living close by. But this is to be expected.
The location of Michelle's apartment could not be more perfect. Less than a block from the Metro, and a few short blocks to Pont Du Neuff Bridge. We found the metro system very easy to use and extremely convenient. However, we also did A LOT of walking during our visit. We wanted to soak in the city on foot as much as possible. Pre-dosing with some Aleve each day, was an enormous help as we are in our early 50's and expected to experience some aching joints!
St. Germain was extraordinary and we highly recommend this apartment. It is conveniently located to many local wine bars, great restaurants, banks - ATM, velib bike stands, taxi stands and of course, the Metro.
We will recommend this apartment to family and friends that are visiting Paris. Michelle and Susana are perfect hosts! Thank you very much!

We spend 6 nights in this sympathetic with my husbend in this studio in Paris 6. area.It is a typical Parisian studio. The area is very nice, with lot of tourists. The studio was clean and we found everything , what we needed. There is an extra bed also. The owner offered us a bottle of very good vine. The metro station is situated 1 minute from studio. There are a lot of restaurants, shopes, stores like Carrefour, Monoprix etc.. Michelle(owner) and Susan(local manager) are very kind.
This was our second stay at this apartment! We loved it so much last year that we booked it again for our most recent trip. Both Michelle and Susan were extremely responsive to our questions.
Our stay at this apartment was optimal for us due to its close proximity to many wonderful local restaurants, boutiques, pastry shops and museums. The location is a convenient two minute walk to the Odeon Metro station where the excitement of the Bouldevard Saint-Germain-des-Pres awaits. If you want the feeling of being right in the middle of what makes Paris the world's finest and most alluring city in the world then this space is perfect for you.
This apartment is very cozy despite it's compact size. That was not an issue. I have to say that hotel rooms in Paris are very compact too! The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to fix a quick meal. With the windows closed, you barely hear any noise from the hustle and bustle of the area when you are up in the loft where the bedroom is.
Keep in mind that it is on the second floor and there are no elevators. Again, it was not an issue for us.
100m from Metro Odeon***
Our studio is located on rue Monsieur Le Prince (Odéon), in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a safe and prestigious neighborhood that is famous for its Parisian eateries, theaters, and boutique shops. It is within walking distances to most touristic and cultural attractions, like the Notre Dame, Saint Germain des Pres church, Luxembourg Garden, Saint Sulpice church, the Panthéon, the Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, or the Sorbonne..., just too numerous to mention. The Louvre Museum or Hôtel de Ville, on the other side of the Seine river, is a 10-15 minute romantic walk through the cobblestone streets. We have taken a few pictures of the immediate neighborhood to give you the real appreciation of the location.
Public transportation is the most convenient with steps away from 6 bus lines and metro stations, which are also the easy and cost-effective connections to and from the airports and train stations. Metro station Odéon (100m away) is on line 4 which connects to train stations (Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est) as well as to the major hubs for airport transfers ( Saint-Michel Nôtre Dame, Châtelet).
