|Minimum Stay||7 - 14 nights|
This condominium is a dream vacation for two people, two adults, who want to get away and relax by the ocean side, either on the balcony or on the white sandy beach, in beach chairs with umbrella or leisurely walks. You can get lost in the moment, feel the moist sand between your toes, and enjoy the peacefulness of the Gulf of Mexico rippling ever so gently to the shore. You may want to have a barbecue, there are two grills by the pool just waiting for those steaks or hot dogs and hamburgers, whatever whets your appetite.
Whatever your lifestyle you can find it at Fort Myers Beach. Estero Beach Club is the best of Fort Myers Beach with it's wide sandy beaches, secluded within the complex itself or entertainment is within walking distance.

Hello, I am Glenna Goodwin and I want to share with you a beautiful story. I have married again and my sadness has turned to joy. My husband and I both lost our spouses within a month of each other. We both had been married over 50 years. We each had wonderful marriages and now we were sad and lonely and the worst part was that no one needed us anymore. Even though we lived in the same condominium complex Roger and I had never met. One evening we each decided to go to an event at our clubhouse just to be with people, we happened to sit at the same table and someone introduced us. About a week later I saw Roger at the pool in our area and he said he would like to get to know me and I said, 'that would be nice'. We went for coffee and talked for over 2 hrs., found out we were very compatible, started seeing each other and March 10, 2012 we were married on Fort Myers Beach, with the sun setting and the sand between our toes and with our families all around us we committed the rest of our lives to each other. .
Glenna Goodwin purchased this condo in 2010
We have always liked Fort Myers Beach, it has white sugar sand, wide beaches and rippling waves that soothe the soul. We live in Fort Myers and often rented on Fort Myers Beach. We decided to buy a rental condo and use it ourselves when we could. We like being on the beach in the Summer, it's cooler than inland and breezy. We looked for a year at all the different condominium's and decided we only wanted at Estero Beach Club. It is well maintained and managed, it's a very tropical setting. The sparkling pool is at the edge of the beach, unlike many other condominium pools. It's a great place to take a drink at sunset and enjoy the spectacular colors, better than any fireworks. Since there was just my husband and myself we only needed one bedroom but we wanted it to be spacious and nice for ourselves when we can come and our many guests who rent and come back year after year.
Estero Beach Condo #403 is located on the 4th floor of a small complex, only 24 condo's in our building. Soon after we bought in 2010 we put in a beautiful new kitchen with granite counter tops, sparkling white cabinets, new appliance's, even a dishwasher! The balcony has a table with 4 chairs and there is a lounge chair, the view couldn't be better because it sits directly on the Beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
We want you to come and enjoy it, we know you'll want to come back.
We stumbled across the condo 5 years ago have come back ever since. The pictures do not do it justice. Glenna has added some new furniture inside and on the balcony. It sits right on the beach with everything you need. Just bring yourself she has everything else. Once we arrive we never drove our car. Everything is within walking distance. Glenna is wonderful to work with and the front office are also great people. Before we found this condo we stayed at several other locations but this place is the best on the beach. We have been coming back for 5 years and plan on many more. If you come here once you will want to return.
My husband and I were not fortunate enough to have a honeymoon. Fifteen years later we left the kids at home and took a week's vacation. Glenna was a doll to work with via email; answered my questions and was sincere in wanting us to enjoy ourselves. The first day it rained so we headed out to the flea market. There are plenty of recreational places with reasonable rates for tourists to enjoy within an hour's drive. The time we spent in the condo was relaxing. Sitting on the lanai listening to the surf and the birds with a cup of coffee was wonderful. We took advantage of the beach chairs, towels and umbrellas that were provided and spent a day at the beach. On Friday, the day before we left, I did our laundry in the laundry room on the first floor while we hung out at the pool. Cable channels are a bit limited, but there is something for everyone. Wifi was free and kept me in touch with the kids' teachers. I don't know when I'll have the chance to escape again, but I will definitely recommend this condo to family and friends.
My wife and I have stayed in vacation rentals many times all over the world, including many beach-front condo rentals all along the gulf coast. We're used to how vacation rentals directly from owners normally work. We understand they aren't hotels, that things come up, and sometimes, especially internationally, that there may exist some oddities with the property. We're always okay with these things, and never really write reviews, because we understand the nature of these places. But in the US, along the gulf, all the condos look the same, and you just pick the area and size you want. I think there are some important issues to note so that other renters can make a more informed decision.
Nothing about this rental is horrible, in fact, there are many positives. But it didn't live up to our expectations, or experience with similar properties. The little things add up.
The Good: Great location. Right on the beach in a slightly quieter section. Topp's grocery nearby. The beach wasn't crowded. The common areas were nice, well kept, clean. Not huge and fancy, but nice and quiet. The condo layout is normal; rooms are a nice size. Gas grills by the pool.
The Weird: Condo is carpeted. This strikes me as strange, especially on the beach. I don't recall ever seeing a beach front property that has carpet. Some small stains, but nothing terrible. No cleaning fee, but you pay an application fee to the property. Lightswitches that did nothing, or turned off outlets in other rooms. The fans are wired down the walls, through plastic junctions, and plugged in with cutoff extension cords.
The Bad: Internet never worked. Emails to Glenna were answered only with call-backs from the tech support people. I tried for hours, but I’m on vacation... Dishwasher never worked; didn’t notice until the end of the week. It just churned, groaned, but no water went in it. Furnishing all ‘cheap’, including electrical outlets, fixtures, furniture, beach gear, kitchen, etc. Nothing wrong with this, but it's not what I would expect for this area. No cutting board or decent knife - annoying. There’s not a lounge chair for the balcony as stated in the review. The beach view in the pictures isn’t from this condo - view is more limited in this property. Condo information and local guides were outdated by years - we left new ones. Some of the lights didn't work, or missing bulbs.
Recommendation: Look elsewhere - There are better options.
We truly enjoyed our weeks stay in your beuatiful condo this April. We enjoyed the location and the amenities. It's a beautiful spot and offers everything you would want or need for a vacation from home. Glenna, you were also very helpful with any questions I had on the rental before arrival. This was our first time vacationing at Ft. Myers Beach and we will be returning.
Unit #403 is an idyllic location for rest and relaxation. Add to that Fort Myers Beach as a great venue, with much lower air fares and travel distance than the Caribbean or Hawaii. From the Lanai, you can enjoy the calming sound of the ocean waves rolling over your view of the beautiful white sand beach. The Unit is tastefully decorated; it is clean, well maintained with a comfortable bed and updated kitchen. If you simply must return to reality from time to time, there is Wi-Fi. A grocery store is within easy walking distance, and a nice new Library is two blocks away. Walk just a little farther, or drive, and there are several good places to eat along Estero Blvd. It has a great pool area and a nice hot-tub. If you can’t be pleased with this rental, then you can’t be pleased.

Glenna, it's just as you described BUT better! Turn your key to #403 and enter paradise! The view alone is worth the trip! White sand, soft waves, a gentle warm breeze, topped with blue skies, and on a private beach. Along with a well furnished condo of soft leather furniture, a bed that is actually very comfortable and a kitchen fully stocked.
Any traveler would only need a well packed purse, which includes a toothbrush, swimsuit, and tanning lotion, the rest is all provided by you! Bonus....grocery store across the street, that allows you to use their shopping carts to transport groceries!
Your condo is a diamond in the sand, great location, clean, a definate recommendation to anyone who wants a peaceful vacation with sand between their toes!
Thank you, Glenna! I hope to visit again. Kudos from Northern MN! Kim.
Edison's home, laboratory and magnificent landscaping including a spectacular Banyan tree. This is on the way to downtown Fort Myers, it is uniquely historic, sits along the Callusahatchee River, offers museums, theaters, wonderful restaurants and river walks, etc.
The road to the Islands of Sanibel and Captiva is very scenic, there is an Outlet Mall on the way. Lots of tropical shopping. The Mucky Duck is a favorite restaurant in Captiva. Go and Expore!
