Just as described on the website. Stylish, spacious, quiet, high end furnishings and appliances, very comfortable and luxurious. The owner/manager was straightforward and easy to deal with, and quite flexible in working with us to arrange a late checkout. Roughly 15-20 minute walk to the village, 10 minutes to large grocery store, restaurants, etc. Parking pass in the village was a nice feature. My only reservations: slightly slippery stairs and wood floors in some areas, plus an easy-to-miss step down from dining table area to living room make it a little iffy for the elderly or young children. Could have used better and more flatware, dishes and cookware to match the high quality of everything else. Also, instructions are needed for the cappuccino maker and the dishwasher (it ran only on extended cycle). But these are quibbles; this is really a luxurious place.
I actually rented another unit similar to the one pictured above from the same owners. The home was absolutely immaculate. Fitzsimmons Walk is well known for having high quality built condos equipped with Blum drawers (magnetic drawers that don't slam), a subzero fridge, and viking range but the owners put in extra details. The home is equipped with high quality Global knives, tasteful plates and utensils, a parking pass for one vehicle at a ski-in ski-out hotel near the lifts, and providing detailed instructions on how to operate the house. The surround sound system and wireless Sonos music was absolutely amazing. The home even had a DVR that we used to record the NFL playoff games. I've rented several homes for the past 5 - 6 years on VRBO and I've never rented a home that was trouble free and had everything working. This home is carefully taken care of as if it were the owner's personal home (i.e. owner provided Bar Keepers Friend to clean the stainless steel) and the marble and tile were practically new with no signs of stains or etching. I will definitely rent this home again for my next trip to Whistler.
