Charming and unique!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful flat in a charming historic building was the perfect place for us to enjoy family weekend with our daughter who attends Seattle University. It was an easy walk to great shopping and restaurants but in a quiet residential neighborhood. The apartment was thoughtfully equipped, incredibly comfortable, and very clean. We could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

The rooms were clean and fresh. The neighborhood was quiet and several eating and drinking spots were within walking distance for us. The BC smoke had cleared out, which made for beautiful weather. We shared the house with other renters and did not even know they were there.

Summer stay

  • 4 of 5

The unit was very clean and beds were comfortable. Highly recommend paying for parking since the parking on the street gets filled up every day and night. Location is perfect since we had to drive to Seattle University every morning. Quiet neighborhood. The wooden floors creaked a lot though and the tub/shower wasn't the best. Other than that, it was great.

So close

  • 3 of 5

The flat was on the fringe of a very good location, but it was mostly in an area that was being regentrified. If that was the only issue with the apt, I would have given the place a better review. My real problem with the place was that it had a funky smelly upon entering the apartment and most of the windows were painted shut so that it could not be aired out. The shower curtain was old and full of mold. I understand that Seattle has a rain forest climate, but that is all the more reason to change the shower curtain often. It gives the appearance of the place being clean. Supplying the apt with new fresh white sheets and white towels every so often will go along way as well.

On the positive side, Capitol Hill was within walking distance and there were many local coffee shops, bars, and restaurants to choose from.

Owner's Response: Wow that's really an unfair and bitchy review. Windows in every room open and ventilate well, the apartment is spotless and fresh as all other reviews you can read testify. Being snarky isn't funny it's tired.
