This amazing condo is located on the 17th floor right on the Gulf of Mexico beach. The views are by far some of the most amazing views in the area along with the snow white beaches and sky blue ocean. This unit is professionally decorated, has cushy pillow top mattresses and flat screen TV's in all the bedrooms and the living room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with private bathroom including a steam shower and jacuzzi tub. The Beach Club has a upscale full spa, a large indoor lap pool, complete fitness center, large outdoor pool and loungers for relaxing. Bar service poolside during peak season. This unit and the Beach Club has it all, and at the same price as the others as we promise to be competitive. Call us and compare!
That's what my Granny always said about place that looked so pretty that they should be on the front of a postcard, and that's just what comes to mind as I write this review about this condo our family stayed in over Super Bowl weekend. We have been planning this getaway for awhile, and the kids had been looking forwards to the vacation since we booked it last year, with Mrs. Rosner, who is just as charming as can be, and so helpful (a doctor's number-our kid lost his inhaler, and we had to get a prescription filled-bless you Mea for all your help).
What a view, praise God! I just was so inspired every morning with the warm morning sun on my face and the blue Gulf at my feet. We had everything we needed in the kitchen-great coffee maker, refrigerator, oven (with a convection setting), microwave, ice maker, glasses, frying skillet-you name it! Bathrooms are big, with strong showers and plenty of hot water. The master bath has a jacuzzi, which comes in handy after chasing two 8 year olds around the beachfront all afternoon. Our wireless internet was fast and reliable, and the selection of channels fit all the differentiating tastes we have in our family. Super Bowl Sunday was especially nice for just us four, we plopped on the couches, watching the game with our favorite snacks either on the table or in the oven! The great thing was prepping for the game, I had the balcony door open and with the sound of the Gulf waves it made getting ready for the game the most enjoyable chopping and shredding I can remember.
Parking was easy and securely gated, with passes to get in and out of the building, and security 24/7. On nicer days, we walked down the beach or down the "Via Del Luna,"both a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk area, which has some nice shopping and fun places to explore for kids and adults. The boardwalk is close enough to walk to, but far enough away not to spoil one's peace. A short drive into downtown Pensacola is highly recommended! This is such a cute little place, with many small businesses, cafes, clothing shops that all contribute to giving Pensacola a dynamic identity. A little farther inland, but really just a very short drive, is the traditional malls, stores (Walmart), etc.
We loved the white sand beaches and the kids really loved the heated pool! My husband works out regularly, so the on site gym/spa was modern and well equipped. There is SO much to do there, no matter what time of year! We will certainly go back!
We arrived and opened the door to our condo, and truthfully never wanted to leave! The description given to us by the owner ( who was so charming, polite and helpful) was nothing short of accurate! The condo was clean, everything worked!!! The kitchen was well stocked with every type of utensil, plate, glass, pot or skillet a cook could want. A beautiful stove with a modern oven ( even a convection setting), a microwave. A modern refrigerator with all the trimmings( makes ice, crushes, water etc.) An ice machine ( wow!! Great for the coolers and the drinks!). An efficient and effective dishwasher ( quiet) rounded out the stylish kitchen. Big screen TV, and TV's in every room. Nice big comfortable beds. A washer and dryer that really came in handy!! Clean bathrooms with spacious showers/tub. A jacuzzi in the master bath to boot! And the view...THE VIEW!!!! We fell asleep to the sound of gentle Gulf waves, and awoke to the same. There is also a grille on the e balcony, and we grilled tuna and shrimp and scallops fresh from Joe Patti's and ate them on the balcony. Nighttime views are magnificent- one can almost touch the stars. You're also 17 floors up, so it's quiet, quiet, quiet. Very romantic to say the least.
The beach is literally at your feet, and so accessible. Walk out the front door, and you'll find the Santa Rosa Sound right in front of you. Take the elevator down, and you're at the pool area..and 3 minutes later one finds themselves on the powder- white sands of the Gulf. We could also walk to the Boardwalk area, which has plenty of nightlife, restaurants and shopping. This is also a plus in case one wants to "party" a bit, and doesn't want to risk driving impaired, or pay cab fare. Literally 5 minutes. There is a convenience store about one minute from the gate if one needs adult beverages, soda or snacks. Very nice!
Parking was easy as can be, secure and well lighted. The facility boasts great workout rooms and spas to keep those unwanted vacation pounds at bay.
I couldn't recommend this place any more than I have! We're going back soon and plan to make a habit of it! And family members already have dibs on it too!
