Perfect Family Vacation Venue

  • 5 of 5

This historic and architecturally interesting home is perfectly located for all activity on Cape Cod. Our family of 14, ranging from 2 to 70 years old, loved this place. The large and pleasant home feels comfortable as soon as you step through the door. The owner is gracious and extremely responsive. Every need was accommodated from the time we made our reservation to the time we checked out. The lovely little beach, within a stone's throw, is wonderful for small children. The yard is expansive, allowing sports of all kinds. Access to the bike/jogging/hiking trail is very close. Downtown Falmouth is a short stroll away, and the Ferry Terminals in Woods Hole and Falmouth are very convenient to the islands. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Great Cape Cod Large Group Beach House

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 15, comprised of three different families, enjoyed a wonderful one-week vacation in this great beach house. The home is well kept and very comfortable with a spacious yard. The location of the six bedrooms offers privacy for couples, while other rooms allow kids/teenagers to "pile in" more casually. The large kitchen is well stocked and there also is a smaller kitchen in the back of the house which came in handy when cooking some of our mega meals! We loved the enclosed large porch for our morning coffee, conversations throughout the day and an occasional afternoon or early evening nap! The location couldn't be more perfect for all that Falmouth has to offer. It is a five minute walk to the beach and a short walk to the quaint town of Falmouth. Other close by attractions not to be missed are The Shining Sea Bike Trail, The Nob (breathtaking view), Woods Hole (eat at Shucker's Raw Bar and also The Landfall Restaurant) and the ferry ride over to Martha's Vineyard. The owner is very cordial and always available to answer any questions and/or handle any matter that may arise. Our family had a wonderful time and would definitely return for a "do again"!

Great place for large groups

  • 5 of 5

Our family plus 3 others have come up for the past two years to run the cape cod marathon. This house is perfect for our large group! It is walking distance to the heart of town and down the block from the beach.

The house has lots of rooms to accommodate our group as well as a beautiful yard for all our kids to run around. The kitchen is new and house very well maintained. The owner Celena is responsive and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to continuing coming up here on a yearly basis!

Fantastic vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

For the third consecutive year, we've used this home for our family reunion. After renting several different Falmouth properties, this is by far our favourite. Spacious garden, quiet lane, 1 min walk to beach are main advantages. Home is very comfortable, excellent condition. No problem sleeping 16 of us comfortably. Owner does excellent job maintaining and improving the home from year to year, and is always reachable for small details.

We highly recommend this property, especially for larger families with young kids!

Awesome week at the Cape!

  • 5 of 5

Our family just returned from our week's stay at this house. We had a fantastic time. The house is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. The lawn was also very large, allowing us to play several games at once. The location was perfect - it was a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach, a short walk to town, close to a biking trail, and not that far from the ferry. We enjoyed riding our bikes down to Woods Hole in the morning for coffee and pastries at Pie in the Sky. The house was well-stocked (although you might want to bring an electric skillet) and met our every need. We would definitely return!

Fantastic house for family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our NC family met for a week's vacation and loved the location of the house and all the activities available within a few miles. The house was very clean and spacious . The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed. There were several nice beaches in the area and one beach that was a short walk from the house. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and peaceful. We kept the windows opened and the cool breezes were just the right temperature to wake up feeling refreshed everyday. The town of Falmouth was so charming with plentiful boutique shops, a spa , book stores, toy stores , coffee shops, pastry, ice cream shops and restaurants. We could walk to into town in about 10 minutes. The grocery store was also a short drive away. We took the Island Queen ferry which was about 5 minutes from the house to Martha's Vineyard. We spent a whole day at Martha's vineyard exploring beautiful beaches and quaint port towns. Some of our family went sport fishing and caught several stripers weighing 25-35 pounds. We grilled them outside and had a fantastic meal. The Shining Sea Bikeway is not to be missed is unlike any trail offering views of salt marshes, harbors, beaches, wetlands, and old farms. The bike rental shop was in town and easy to find. Loved Landfall restaurant and Pie in the Sky in nearby Woods Hole. The owner was very helpful with suggestions. I would highly recommend this property.
