This luxury penthouse will take your breath away! Professionally decorated and remodeled 3 bedroom 3 bath 4th floor corner unit penthouse with private elevator that opens directly into unit.

***NOW OFFERING AN OPTIONAL CONNECTING SUITE** Yes, this highly sought after Penthouse, now offers a spacious 1700 sqft, 2bed w/additional 3rd room w/twin bed, 2 bath corner unit directly below the Penthouse. These 2 condos share a private elevator that has the ability to travel between each condo when rented together, or operated independently when rented separately. Now that I've explained the option of adding the newly purchased Suite with direct unit to unit elevator capability, let me finish by attempting to describe the Penthouse that the majority of guest believe can only be truly appreciated in person. As many guest posted reviews state, the Penthouse is beautiful and offered the most amazing panoramic ocean views from kitchen, living area, master bedroom, and master bath. The outdoor lanai expands the entire width of the condo (10'x30') This lanai opens to the living area and Master Suite giving you that indoor/outdoor living experience which is so desired, and the best way to experience island style living.

The condo is situated in such a way that you get the benefit of the most amazing fresh breeze flowing right through the condo by simply opening the front door and back doors. Most prefer this over the AC, but that option is also available. Each room can be controlled independently, so if someone staying in one room likes it at 75 degrees F, and someone in another room prefers 85 degrees F, this can be accomplished. The only thing you can't do is run the AC with the doors and windows open. This is for obvious reasons, but please inquire if you need further explanation.

I can offer you insight on the best places to dine, and the places you don't want to miss. If you're a romantic and need my assistance to make something happen, or have something ready in advance, it's my pleasure to assist. I'm available to every guest by phone from 8am to 10pm Hawaii time. If you're staying in the property, then I'm available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

If you're visiting during peak season (December-April) you will see Humpback whales breaching the oceans surface as they mate and breed here in Maalaea Bay yearly. But there is so much to do in Maui year round. Yes, there is never a bad time to visit Maui. Enjoy walking or running along miles of white sandy beach, or swimming with the turtles in the ocean. Directly in front of unit is the world famous 'Freight Trains' surf spot aka 'Maalaea Pipelines'. Walk to the Maui Ocean Center (a favorite Hawaii attraction), or Maui Golf & Sports Park- Enjoy this tropical miniature golf putting course, bumper boats (with water guns), rock climbing, and the x-treme trampoline. Great fun for everyone! If you like to snorkel, scuba dive, snuba, or sportfishing, then take one of several excursions that leave the harbor daily. The sunset dinner cruise is always a great romantic way to start the evening. There is so much to do within walking distance and don't overlook the location and convenience of staying in Maalaea. If you look on a map of Maui, you will see that Maalaea is the optimal central home based location for those who want to see all that Maui has to offer. No matter which direction you go, you are just a short drive to all of the major areas of interest.

If you're looking for that romantic place for that special someone? Look no further, The penthouse is exactly that and very private. All lighting is dimmable so, so set the mood to your liking. Relax and unwind in a jetted bath while overlooking the ocean, or lounge on the lanai while taking in Maui's beautiful sunsets. Order in a private massage, private chef, or ???. If you're planning a special occasion, such as a honeymoon, and want memories that you will treasure forever and never regret, then you found the right property. In fact, all of our properties are unique and special and very romantic.

These properties also come with my services to you. I can answer any questions you have leading up to your stay, and throughout your stay on Maui. I meet all my guests personally and help them up the private elevator with luggage and groceries. I personally give you a quick tour to get you familiar with everything that's available to you. About John Swanson

My parents have been coming to Maui for the last 25+ years and always loved it so much. On their 25th wedding anniversary they bought their first condo in Kihei. All of their family and friends enjoyed it so much that they decided to purchase more properties to use as vacation rentals.

My wife and kids would travel to Maui annually and explore the island and dream of living here. My wife and I actually started a 5 year plan to make the move to Maui, but to our surprise, my parents offered me an opportunity to change careers and move my family to Maui to live in paradise. I was working as a Supervisor for Child Development Counselors in a residential treatment facility in San Diego that worked with children and teens with severe behavioral issues. I had some experience working in property management for parents when I was fresh out of high school and later retained my Real Estate Lic in California. It didn't take long to accept the opportunity and within 30 days we sold just about everything, rented our home out, and landed in Maui to start a new chapter in the book of life.

I soon discovered how much I really enjoyed the hospitality business. I'm still helping people, but in a much different way. I enjoy making my guest accommodations and vacation the best experience possible. I try to get to know my guests and their interests and point them in the right direction and provide them with local insider tips to may their time on Maui as memorable as possible.

Everything you need, and MORE!

We stayed at the property for only two nights, but we were delighted with how GORGEOUS the place is. Six of us stayed comfortably, we were able to do Yoga in the living room before our hectic days of relaxing on the beaches...divine. We had everything we needed ... beach chairs, coolers, binoculors...the kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities we needed to cook in; and we wanted for nothing. John Swanson, who manages this property, clearly cares about customer service...we felt special with fresh flowers and Maui chocolates. We left here and stayed in a different location (for business) and that location allotted you two rolls of toilet paper and one trash bag...after that you buy your own! THIS property is not like that at all...it has plenty of everything you need. Wonderful!

Very nice property, Great view! Three couples in our party, two of the rooms were very nice, one of the rooms needed to be upgraded, bed was not very good!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review and share your opinions. I not only appreciate your opinions, but carefully evaluate them to make sure that we are offering our guests the best possible product and amenities. With that said, a thorough review of past guest reviews show and overwhelming like vs. dislike to the 3rd bedroom which was purposefully designed by my Mother, the property owner and an interior designer with years of satisfied customers and a reputation for making any space functional and beautiful, and that is what she accomplished here. This entire piece of furniture was personally designed by my mother and custom built bringing her vision and design to life with a custom made Hideaway bed (Murphy Bed type) complete with night tables, book shelves, desk, drawers, and plenty of cabinet space. This room has been used multiple times as an office or baby room, but primarily as a 3rd bedroom that has met the approval of the great majority. There was no expense spared on this bedroom and especially the queen size pillow top mattress. I've personally slept on this mattress and find it to be very comfortable, and many others guests have reported the same in their reviews. It is my opinion that this reviewer would have appreciated this bedroom more had it been the only bedroom, and not having the other two master suites to compare it to. This bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with slate shower, granite counter tops, bamboo flooring, independent climate controlled AC, flat screen TV, built in desk, wifi, direct Ethernet connection to high speed cable internet, phone with free calls to anywhere in the US or Canada, ample cabinet space, ceiling fan, built in overhead reading lights, custom shades to allow privacy but bring the light in from the top, ocean view, etc. Does this sound like a bedroom that needs updated or not to be desired, or a bedroom that has everything you could possibly want or expect? You won't find another 3 bedroom, 3 full bath condo in all of Maalaea Harbor, not to mention that each bedroom has its own private bath. Conclusion: 1)3rd bedroom was masterfully designed offering comfort, functionality, and the best use of space. 2)Majority of guests enjoy the comfort and options this bedroom offers that can't be found elsewhere in the area. 3)My personal experience and opinion along with the feedback I receive about this property from so many guest doesn't align with the opinions of this Reviewer or the 3 Star rating

Perfect spot for a family get away!

There were 3 couples that stayed in this condo on our trip and it was perfect for what we were looking for! The bedrooms were accommodating as was the living space. We really enjoyed being right on the ocean and being able to grill outside and watch the turtles from the balcony. John was very pleasant to work with and was very quick to respond to any inquiries prior to arriving at the property. The unit included all items you would need including kitchen items, boogie boards, towels, lawn chairs, grilling tools, etc. The unit has it's own elevator which was very helpful when bringing luggage up and down as well as groceries and a full cooler for the beach. Each bedroom has its own AC control so everyone can be comfortable with whatever temperature they prefer. The unit was also very well maintained and extremely clean. The only thing we did not like was that the 3rd bedroom had a murphy bed instead of a normal bed but other than that no complaints. I would highly recommend this property and would be thrilled to stay there again!

I especially appreciate how you explained how the temperature can be set independently in each bedroom to each individual guests level of comfort. Thanks and credit for these unique amenities go to my Mother Kim who posseses the gift of design, style, and a natural talent for bringing her visions to life. She also put a lot of forethought into this property, which is why I would like to elaborate on the 3rd bedroom and explain why we have a Murphy bed vs. a regular bed. Let me start off by letting you know that you won't find another 3 bedroom 3 full bath with each bedroom having it own ensuite bath in the Maalaea area. This convienence has made my guests stay at the penthouse enjoyable providing them the privacy and convenience they so appreciate. The 3rd bedroom was purposely designed to meet the many needs of today's ever so diverse population of travelers. This 3rd bedroom can be utilized as a regular bedroom with the bed down and has been beneficial to those having difficulty getting into a standard bed. There is no loss of comfort with this Murhy bed which offers a nice pillow top queen sized mattress and our newly added super soft and luxurious 1800 thread count sheets that are a standard on all of our beds. With the bed up, this room easily transforms into an office with a built in desk, file storage, and an ample amount of drawers and cabinet space. Additional complimentary amenities include, free unlimited phone calling anywhere in the USA or Canada. The phone and high speed cable internet with wifi is stationed at the desk for easy direct connection giving you the fastest internet connection available, or the convenience to roam the Penthouse using wifi. Those with precious little ones can utilize this space as a baby room. You have the option of using our complimentary pack n' play or renting a crib of of your choosing. A list of recommended rental companies that deliver, set, up, and pick up can be provided upon request. As you can see, the 3rd bedroom offers a multitude of options, meeting the needs of many who have difficulties finding when searching. Amazing View!!!

Just got home and wanted to let everyone know that this place is amazing! I have stayed at many VRBO homes and this is by far the BEST! The owner was very easy to work with and gave us a lot of very good information on how to make our stay even better. The home has everything you need and is stocked with essentials(spices,coffee, paper towel, toilet paper, and washing needs) . Never have I stayed in a place so accommodating. And lastly, the view is absolutely beautiful. Ocean, bay, and mountains as soon has you step out on the lani. And lots of sea turtles!. No need to be leery of staying here! We will stay here again🌴󝀽򓨎

Beautiful, awesome, exceeded expectations

We stayed 9 days at the most beautiful property in Maui. The scenery was so incredibly beautiful and we were able to see that 24/7. The harbor was a very nice addition and the two stores and restaurant, Beach Bums, were great. John was an amazing host and was incredibly helpful in guiding us through our Maui journey, The penthouse was beautifully decorated and spacious. We intend on returning to the same place and have recommended it to our adult children as it was a journey of a lifetime. Thanks to John, he was informative, helpful, and a very nice person.

Great, Great, Great

If you are planing a vacation trip to Maui, call John Swanson at 808-633-1210, for the most Beautiful Site in Maui. My wife and I, along with our friends, Jim and Mary, Ray and Cynthia had the greatest time of our life's. We had the Penhouse on the Ocean. You will Love everyday of your stay.
