About Christine Bandoni

We have lived here in Tiverton since 2006. We love living on the water and can not say enough about how perfect it is to wake up every day and enjoy a new view. Boating - both power and sail, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, water sports are all to be enjoyed right here in this little slice of heaven. We love cycling and enjoy the 26 mile round trip from the house to Sakonnet Point, with many gorgeous trips in between.

Why Christine Bandoni chose Rhode Island Coastal

We chose this home because it is a perfect waterfront home to be used for rentals and visiting family. It has been newly re-furbished and is clean and inviting. It's convenient to many beaches, Newport, Providence and Boston. Airports, train stations and busses are also close.

What makes this house unique

Walking to the local coffee shop in the morning, strolling along the town beach, watching the boats come in and out of the Sakonnet Harbor and parade past the house is a favorite activity. Full spectrum of water and nature enjoyments abound.

Perfect vacation home

The house is beautiful throughout, very clean all the amenities are there and very updated. We were here for a reunion and it was more than enough to accommodate my extended families. I love the big kitchen, the views from the backyard is amazing, and the additional area downstairs where my son stayed like his own oasis and very private. The location of this house is convenient to everything. We did so much in just one week: kids loved the beach it was their favorite , enjoyed the delicious seafood at Flo's- from fried clams, oysters and clam cakes , Anthony's-lobster roll and fish and chips and Brick Alley Pub-clam chowder, Family Ties Restaurant for the Portuguese Benedict is to die for, and McGovern's clam boil just to name a few. Newport Cliffwalk is a must see.. love the mansions and the lighthouses. If you want to explore outside R.I, we took the fast ferry to Martha's Vineyard breathtaking views at the Gay Head Cliffs and the many colorful Gingerbread cottages. Enjoyed our day at Salem- Harbor Waterfront and the House of Seven Gables tour. Quincy Market in Boston was a great experience, if you love seafood this is the place. My family had enjoyed our reunion and I met Christine and she was very pleasant. We would definitely rent this home again in the near future. Thank you for the hospitality.

Truly a Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this home for 10 days in order to have a home base for friends and family to come visit from surrounding areas (since we now live in CA). It was the perfect home for both hosting and for some solo, quiet time with our daughter. Waking up to sun-filled rooms, bird songs, and the cool, clear river was too perfect. I tried to stretch the hours of enjoying my coffee in the back yard, gazing out at the sailboats as they floated by in the bay. From this same spot, there is a perfect view of the sunset, where we lingered over our wine. We also enjoyed jaunts into the local coffee shop (friendly people and delicious coffee and treats), long walks along the water by the Tiverton Yacht Club, and more meals at Evelyn's Drive In than I'd like to admit! The location is well-situated for enjoying both local and less local RI offerings. Newport and Providence are both easy to get to and this home is a treat to come home to after a day out and about! Everything we needed was present in the house and Christine was very helpful anytime we had a question. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

If we could give it 6 stars, we would!

  • 5 of 5

Every detail was thought through in this house. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the perfect setting for a peaceful week in Rhode Island. Sunsets over the water were absolutely breathtaking. There were even indoor and outdoor games for kids to play! We can't thank Christine enough for the perfect home to stay in for my sister's wedding. We'll be back!!

Would recommend to anyone.

  • 5 of 5

Took a short break to RI, our party including a couple of aging parents. Our experience and enjoyment was enhanced by the home on the Sakonnet, it is in a fantastic location with a stunning view. It was a perfect base for a variety of trips to Newport and other parts of RI.

Road next to the property was busy, but this did not detract from the stay. Very convenient to a couple of good restaurants too.

Couldn't really fault much in what was provided, would be nice to have had a few more kitchen utensils, but apart from that we had everything we needed.

Christine, the owner, and the HomeAway team were very easy to deal with, the app was invaluable too.

Fantastic Experience!!!

  • 5 of 5

I brought my family over Memorial Day weekend since I was graduating from Brown. Our experience couldn't have been better, the house is amazing and it is in pristine condition. There is enough room to do any kind of activity, the backyard is huge, and the house is right by the water.

Not to mention the neighborhood, if you want to talk a walk by the shore, go to the nearest beach (half a mile away), or run, it is absolutely perfect.

Everything we needed was there and more. Christine and her family have built a home that truly feels like a home, and I would highly recommend anyone to stay in this house.

In terms of responsiveness, everything was really smooth, instructions were clear, and Christine is very responsive.

Thank you Christine for helping to make this weekend a fantastic one

Carlos

Perfect weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This home is clean, open, and airy. Furnishings were plentiful and comfortable. The location was convenient and easy to find and the amenities were great- the house had it all! We were a group of 6-8 girls, one who uses a wheelchair and we all found the place to be comfortable and accessible . In terms of wheelchair accessibility, the main floor is wheelchair accessible- except for one spot where there is a small step (from kitchen into on of the living room). There are steps to get in the front door , though the back door does not have a step it does require going on the grass. The bathroom is large enough for wheelchair accessibility- though the sink and shower are not completely accessible and require assistance. all doorways were wide enough for wheelchair. Once in the house you are able to access two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and one of the living rooms independently in a wheelchair. Overall in terms of wheelchair accessibility this house is a great option! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone !
