LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!
Colorful Capitol Hill is just outside your door. Here, in Seattle’s trendiest neighborhood, mom-and-pop businesses, innovative restaurants, and bohemian cafes thrive.
Then, just 3 miles away (2 minutes by car), is serene, family-friendly Lake Washington, an apple-pie slice of Americana. Stretch out on the beach or ride bicycles with your family and take in the glassy lake and snow-capped Mt. Rainer.
Go just 2 miles (7 minutes) in the other direction from the apartments, and you’re in glittering downtown Seattle.
All of Seattle’s highlights are here: the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, Seahawk Stadium, the Space Needle, The Conservatory, The Asian Art Museum, and more.
Visit Pike Place Market and gather some ingredients for dinner, then come home to cook in your fully equipped kitchen.
Then, enjoy your fresh, local creation at the dining table on the back patio picnic area.
Forget an ingredient? No problem—Safeway Supermarket is just down the block.
NO HIGH-RISES HERE
If you find downtown hotels and condos overwhelming and want to ditch the elevators, the noise, the lack of privacy and lack of green space—then these duplex and triplex apartments are for you.
Fully relax in a green, residential area of Seattle, in a house that feels like home. When you want a jolt of the big city’s energy, it’s close by, waiting for you!
Great location near grocery store, restautants, etc. Unit was very clean and functional, although the bedroom is very small, the bathroom was a bit ackward opening directly into the living room, and the kitchen lacked the usual "leftovers" - salt, oil / butter, coffee, etc. The laundry is not in the unit but shared with others and accessed from the backyard - and make sure you have lots of quarters. Two large dogs often running around the backyard could be an issue for some people, but they were friendly - but watch where you step! Off street parking in the back was helpful, since the street parking was sometimes tight. We initially had a probem getting in (wrong key was left in lock box) but it was remedied within a few hours (which worked ok for us, but could have been a major inconvenience depending on the circumstances).
Had a nice stay in Cap Hill. The apt is clean & comfortable. Owner was responsive & lockbox made it easy to check in & out. There's an on-site maintenance guy who's really nice though we didn't need him for anything. Neighbors are pleasant. A bunch of nice bars and restaurants, trader joes, safeway all within walking distance. convenient parking spot in the busy area. nice porch to sit and drink coffee. Quiet street in a nice neighborhood. Nice backyard area for our dog with a grill and a picnic table. Laundry in the backyard too. Would recommend.
Cute little house for one to two people in a quiet neighborhood. Grocery store and park within a couple blocks. Bathroom and bedroom tight on space to move around but doable.
Had a great time in Seattle and staying in Capitol Hill was both convenient and enjoyable. We appreciated the nearby grocery stores, Mexican restaurant, and coffee shop (all walking distance) and were able to figure out the transit routes (to downtown, Space Needle, and airport) without too much difficulty.
If you like to take in the "touristy stuff", we recommend the City Pass. We went to all 5 attractions offered and it was well worth the price (as long as you go to 3, you should "break even"). We also picked up a copy of the "Visit Seattle" magazine and the Lonely Planet guide for Seattle; they both had good recommendations for restaurants and things to do.
The apartment was comfortable, clean, and the owner responded promptly by email to any questions/requests.
Small restroom right off the living/dining/kitchen area made for uncomfortable moments. Two people was fine. Four would've been ugly. TV didn't work after a day but that was actually a good thing because...Seattle is awesome. Location was great for the price. Plan on walking or doing some Uber/Bus/Walk combo. Also, our stay it was super hot out and there is No A/C. It's usually not needed...usually.
Super simple email arrival. Never talked to owners or manager, never got grief from anyone other than the dog across the way. Basic. Nice.
Great place to stay when visiting Seattle. Very clean, great coffee shop around the corner, close to Capitol Hill, and easy to get to downtown Seattle area by bus or Uber. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi for the first couple days, it was fixed, and the owners were very nice and provided compensation for the hiccup. A great value!
