Good location...some updates and issues need addressed

  • 3 of 5

The condo was nice and fairly well equipped. The kitchen and living room were the best rooms in the condo. However, the refrigerator didn't keep cold and the dryer needs replaced, it's no wonder the sheets smelled musty and needed washed upon arrival. Lastly, the previous renter broke the hurricane blind in the back bedroom and it was extremely dark, not a lick of natural light. I called to inquire about it and was told nothing could be done since it was a big project since we were on the top floor. It was a shame because a big renting point was the ocean views from all rooms. Lastly, we were told checkout was 10 am and the cleaning lady was there around 9:15 waiting at our door. Needless to say, we felt rushed upon our departure. On the fence if we would stay again.

The condo was roomy, clean and very secure.

  • 5 of 5

This condo was super nice. Furniture was great quality and nicely decorated. Full bath in 3 of the bedrooms was super nice. Full ocean veiw from every window. Very clean secure building. Parking within the building was very nice. Access to beach was perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The only thing we didn't like was the temperature of the pool was too warm. 92degrees

Nice place, but not what we need

  • 3 of 5

This property is very nice. It is maintained well and is very clean. Plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels (even beach towels). The size of the unit is perfect for a large family - and everything you need for a beach vacation is there (everything from the kitchen to the beach chairs/toys). The views of the beach could not be any better and the balconies are great. Our biggest issue was the locked doors - and only 2 sets of keys. The office indicated they would give us another key for a $200 deposit. We took all of our children (youngest is 19) and the property is locked at every door. You even have to have a key to leave from the pool area to the street. Our group goes in many different directions and the keys were always an issue. There is also only one underground parking door opener. We were constantly mapping out a plan to get everyone back into the complex. You have to have a key to get into the pool, then use the key again to get into the building - or even to get down to the garage where the chairs, etc are kept. Then, once in the garage, you have to have a key to get into the building. Our group often wanted to go in 3 or more different directions and trying to be sure there was a way to get back into the building was always an issue. If you are a family with small children - or you are a group that is not going to be in more than two different directions - this will not be a problem for you - and the key locks are much more secure than key pads where the codes can be given out to just about anyone, so this is a very secure place to stay. We are all very active and do not stay at the complex all the time, so this was a pretty big issue for us. There also are no longer grills on the property. The information indicates there are grills- and the instruction book also states there are grills, but the grills have apparently been gone for almost 2 years. Cell phone and internet is also spotty - but good enough for vacation - not so great if you need to check in at work, etc. While are all too "on the go" for this particular property, it is quite nice for those who are looking for a quiet beach vacation. Everyone in the building is pleasant and this section of Flagler Beach is wonderful.

Dont stay here if you have kids...

  • 2 of 5

The overall location and condo was great. However, we only had one set of keys for 3 days which was an inconvenience, until the 2nd set arrived on Wednesday (Saturday check in). The window blinds had almost half of the blinds missing but we did find extras in the closets and fixed them to reduce the amount of light that came thru (which should have been done before we got there). The condo was more retirement age friendly and we felt like we had to walk around on eggshells due to this. We were not allowed in the pool from 945 am to 1100 am Mon/Wed/Fridays due to water aerobics which we were not aware of at the time we booked. Also, the pool rules are very strict. The local tenants threatened to take my kids tiny ball away from them because the pool rules said no toys in the pool. So sad that they had to be like this and ruin my kids vacation. I called the agent that we booked thru and she never returned my call. Disappointed to say the least! Oh and the cleaning lady showed up over an hour early the day of checkout...good thing we were already on our way out!

Great place for families

  • 5 of 5

Wow! Very nice property with everything you need for a perfect vacation. We fell in love with the unit, the building and its residents, and of course, the beach itself. Our only critique would be that with 2 couples and 5 teens, we were hard pressed for keys. Two sets are provided. Four would be ideal. We spent lots of time running around letting people in and out as you can't even get out to the beach without a key.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

We had my parents, in-laws, as well as my grandmother with us. The place easily accommodated the 7 adults plus our 15 month old child. Would highly recommend this place. The area wasn't exteremly busy which made it nice as last year we were in St. Augustine where it was super crowded. There were plenty of good restaurants to eat at and the beach was right across the street. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
