Guestbook comments from the owner

The apartment was just as advertised with excellent ammenities. Only 150 metres from the Chateau Frontenac and easy walking distance to all the best restaurants in Old Quebec. The fully equipped kitchen has ever thing you would need if you want to whip up your own gourmet treats. A car is not needed but free covered parking about 4 minutes is very convenient. We parked the car after unloading and didn't touch it until we left. One minor warning: the apartment is on the 4th floor (great street views all round) so if mobility is an issue or you bring lots of luggage, be prepered to hump it up the stairs. One advantage of being on the top floor and being off the main streets is that the apartment was very quiet.

Exceptional! 5/5 -

This was my first visit from England to QC & I was there for 2 ½ months of study & nervous. Well, I needn’t have been. From the moment I entered the condo I knew I was going to love it and I did. In fact I really didn’t want to leave at the end of my stay!

Absolutely wonderful location in the heart of old Quebec. One couldn’t ask for better. There’s life all around and a small epicerie where you can get stuff if you run short. Everything is within walking distance, lots of tourists but no hoards milling around at all hours to disturb one’s peace and enjoyment. And you can hear the birds and the church bells! A bus stop 3 minutes walk down the road right in front of the Hotel de Ville. Or the #21 Ecolobus which runs along rue St Louis about 3-4 minutes up the road which goes around the old town and down to the fluvial.

As for the condo, well, it had just about everything one could need or want. The place was spotlessly clean & well equipped. The beds were very comfortable & the rooms quiet enough. There were loads of towels, plenty of soap, toilet tissue, boxes of face tissues - and even cotton wool balls & cotton buds (I mean which host thinks of that in a rental apartment?) There was plenty of laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, plastic wrap & tin foil. Every detail had been thought of to provide a comfortable, seamless and easy stay. All the little touches had been included - including hair dryer, magnifying mirror etc

The kitchen was equipped with loads of crockery, cutlery, drinking & wine glasses, pots & pans of all sizes & the cooker, fridge & shelves were spotless. There were plenty of refuse/re-cycling sacks. Throughout my stay I lacked nothing – it was so well stocked & maintained. The one thing I had specifically checked on prior to arrival was the Wifi as I needed it for my studies and it couldn’t have been faster. It worked without any problems - exactly as the host had described.

I met the owners & manager & all 3 were charming & welcoming & if I had a query, it was resolved immediately. I loved both the city & the condo & wished I lived closer than England because then I could travel to QC for vacations more often. My daughter was over for 10 days & loved it too. It’s a beautiful city with friendly & kind people who go out of their way to be nice & helpful, including bus drivers & shop assistants. It’s a HAPPY city where people have time for others. One doesn’t see much of that in the world these days.

We have a homeaway lake house we'd go back.

Wonderful accommodations, in the heart of the old city steps away from the Ursuline convent. Even the rain didn't deter our experience. Great to have underground parking included. Can't wait to go back.

Immaculate Apartment in Old Town Quebec

  • 5 of 5

What a great apartment! My family of four stayed here for four nights and couldn't have been more pleased with the apartment and the Old Town Quebec location. The apartment was immaculately clean and everything we needed to prepare and cook meals was available in the kitchen. Grocery stores are close by, as well as museums and an incredible bakery (Paillard) are within a few blocks. Everyone had their own space. The internet Wi-Fi was good came in very handy, especially being from outside of Canada and data plans prohibitively expensive. Everything was as advertised in this listing and more. The apartment manager was receptive before hand and very personable and gracious in person. I highly recommend this listing for anyone spending any amount of time in Quebec and wants a very convenient Old Town location.

Wonderful Vieux Quebec apartment

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my "bucket list" trip to go to Carnaval - staying in this apartment was the icing on the cake. I echo everything the other writers had to say, and can only add a huge merci for making us feel like we were at home in this wonderful city.

(kudos too to the property manager, who promptly and very kindly texted back any solutions to questions I'd forgotten to ask on arrival!).
