Lake George Area Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2BR 1 Bath sleeps 5

Book your relaxing, affordable summer vacation now, on one of the Adirondack's finest lakes! Friends lake has no public access, so peace and quiet is what you'll find here. Our cabin is nestled among the pine trees, just across the street from the association beach. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of summer in the mountains, or sit on the beach as you watch the kids swimming in the lake. Centrally located in the Adirondacks, the cottage is only about a 20 minute drive to either the Historic Village of North Creek or Warrensburg or about 30 minutes to Lake George Village, the Painted Pony Rodeo, Six Flags Amusement Park and many other Adirondack adventures.

The cottage is roomy, comfortable and outfitted with all the basics. Recently added a new smart tv with netflix, wifi and cable service! We look forward to being your Adirondack escape for years to come!

Quiet cabin near the lake

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at the cabin for the Memorial Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We decide a cabin near a lake would be an ideal location and we were not disappointed. The cabin was in a quiet location, private and easy access to local amenities if needed. The short walk to the lake and row boat to enjoy fishing on the lake. We would recommend this cabin and thanks to Rich for his hospitality.

First time

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time, the cabin had everything we needed. The lake is less than a minutes walk away with a fantastic view. It gets freezing cold inside so make sure you come with wood or a time to get some. There's a friendly couple a short drive away that sells wood for dirt cheap, guys name is Jason. There's also a small town with a Tops close by so it was very convenient.

Owner's Response: Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed your stay. The camp has a great wood stove, but it is a seasonal camp, no central heating system. That's why we close after Columbus week. We look forward to having you back.

Very pleasant stay and quieter in October

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the cabin. It is a cabin, so everything is a bit rustic or simple in amenities, which is why we rated only 4 stars, but all the amenities you need are there and we had no complaints. Your heat will come from a wood-burning stove. We brought our own kayaks and recommend doing that if the cabin renters are serious boaters. If you do, go down to Loon Lake and have your boat inspected and washed down. They are very careful about the risks of boats bringing in invasive species, so take this seriously.

Nice, cozy and clean cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Nice, cozy and clean cabin. Location was great. It was a short walk to the lake and beach area. Lake was shallow enough at the beach for our 3 children to play in the water and swim out to the dock. Rich was very friendly and easy to work with. If we had to complain about something it would be the hot water would run out in the shower. Even with taking very short showers the hot water heater couldn't keep up with our family of 5. The cabin and location is well worth it's price! We wouldn't hesitate to rent this cabin again.

Best. Week. Ever.

  • 5 of 5

A true lakeside retreat in the mountains. We loved the lake, the people, the fire pit, the well-stocked kitchen, and we are already planning our next trip! The kids and I spent our days swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, and a few days enjoying Lake George. Overall- A+

Cozy little cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this cabin. We were a large group (2 adults and 4 kids) but we managed to fit and the small space encouraged family time. The cabin is just a few houses from the lake and the people in the area were very warm and welcoming. Our interactions with the property manager were wonderful. Everything was easy and stress free! My husband indicated that the oars for the boat need to be adjusted but we aren't huge boaters anyway.
