|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
Beautiful vacation beach house with large heated pool, hot tub, gorgeous panoramic views of Santa Rosa Sound, sidewalk next to house goes to the Gulf 2 blocks away and Santa Rosa Sound 1 block away, decks overlooking pool, game room and fenced side yard with sand and toys for the kids, sound system with 11 speakers, 5 flat screen tvs, gas grill by the pool, gas firetable with a tv outside, public tennis courts and jogging track and basketball court 2 blocks away, very large chess and checkers on upper deck. From the back deck watch pelicans, an occasional school of dolphins, boats and parasailers in the Sound. Day trips to Destin or Gulf Shores or a 1 hour drive to Blackwater River State Park to go tubing or canoeing or hiking along the cleanest sandy bottom river in the world. Two miles from great seafood restaurants, charter boat fishing, sailboat and waverunner and parasailing rentals, bands on the beach on Tuesday nites, shopping or dancing along the boardwalk, the trolley stops along the street in front of the house to take you there. In town, Pensacola Naval Air Station has one of the greatest museums of planes and stories in the US. Ft Pickens is a very historic walk thru that is only 10 miles away on the eastern end of the island. The scenic drive along the Gulf on one side and the Sound on the other is worth it just for the ride. A toll is collected by the Gulf Islands National Seashore rangers to get to Ft. Pickens There is a fishing pier at the main beach on the Gulf and there is an even longer pier at Navarre Beach with a state park. Navarre Beach is at the eastern end of Santa Rosa Island about 15 miles away. The drive is a scenic must-do along the Gulf. Some people will get off the island at Navarre Beach and continue on to Ft. Walton Beach to a very nice aquarium or San Destin for a day trip. All levels in the house are accessed by stairs. Even with all there is to do, several families have told us they walked along the beach or swam in the waves every morning, came back to the house at lunch time, relaxed, cooked out on the grill and swam in the pool the rest of day, never went anywhere else and had the best time and can't wait to come back.
Pensacola Beach has the most beautiful sugar white beaches in the world. Small pets welcomed.
My husband and I love the beach and have found none as beautiful as Pensacola Beach. We have lived on the beach for 15 years and enjoy the great weather, the blue skies, emerald green water, and sugar white beaches. We know you'll love it too.
Robin Noble purchased this house in 1988
I have always dreamed of living on the beach. In 1988 I had the opportunity to buy this house and it has been my home for many years. Recently I moved in town and have enjoyed fixing it up and allowing others to enjoy the house as well.
It's a short walk to the Sound or beach. There are trolley stops on the street in front of the house to take you to shopping, dining, and recreational attractions. House is on area bike path that is excellent for recreational bike riding. Bonifay Water Sports, Key Sailing, Radical Rides, Island Palms Mini Golf Speedy Johns Go Carts, Funny Cars, as well Paradise Inshore Charters, and Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier are all within 3 miles.
Our families booked Steve and Robin Nobles' home for our family Thanksgiving holiday. We were excited to have 3 generations together under one roof for a few days. Our plans took a turn for the worse upon arriving at their rental home.
New laminate flooring had been laid, and someone had put oil on the floor to make it look better which made it so slick you could not safely walk on it. The flooring was flawed and scratched(according to the owner). The owner asked us to use the bath towels to clean the floor. (Steve Noble was 45 minutes away, and didn't want to come to the property to take care of the unsafe slippery floors).
The upstairs bathroom shower head had been removed and was not functional. We were told by Mr. Noble we could take a bath instead.
A key was stuck in an outside door, and we could not secure the home. Mr. Noble said we didn't need to lock the door. But, we had to unlock a gate and the front door to enter the property.
Mr. Noble got angry over the phone discussing the issues and yelled at us then hung up on us. He called back and left a voicemail saying, "If you think it is unsafe, and you want to go to another place, then we will refund all of your money, and that's up to you. Bye." We chose to leave and look for other accommodations. (We had driven 13 hours to get to the property).
Steve and Robin Noble have refunded less than half of our money as of 11-28.
We have called them and left 3 messages, and they are not returning our calls.
We were expecting to find a safe and beautiful place for our family Thanksgiving. We were told we would get a full refund.
Hopefully, the Nobles will do the right thing and refund our money.
Plenty of room for the whole family. Nice private pool and hot tub!
The home was everything we saw in the pictures and more. We loved the giant chess and checkers set, the large pool, and hot tub. So much space inside and outside that we were comfortable at all times. The beds were very comfortable! The home as a very cool and unique layout. So glad that we picked this one!
I'm a first timer at renting a home. This was what I hope will be the first of many family vacations. From ages 1 yo to 73 yo, 12 people, had plenty of room for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to prepare family meals each night. House had everything we needed and could have hoped for. Pool, hot tub, entertainment areas were all fabulous! Pics of the house does not depict the house as gorgeous as it is in person! Location was wonderful! I watched the sun rise and the sun set every day either on the sound or on the beach, all within a short walking distance! You wont regret your stay here!
Is a beautiful house, everything was clean the beds very comfortable , we are thinking on come back next summer , thanks
The home is nice and plenty of sleeping room however it is starting to have some repair problems that may need to be addressed. The location is within walking distance to the beach and even though you cross a busy street that wasn't an issue.
