This contemporary home in the River Park subdivision of Ridgway, Colorado is only a few years old. The exterior of the house has a mountain aesthetic that's complimented by the comfortable mix of contemporary, vintage and rustic furnishings inside. It's a truly stylish and fun home. The main entry has a covered deck that is great for morning coffee with plenty of sunshine peaking over the Cimarron mountains. The back deck has incredible views of the Sneffels range, rare for an in-town home. The back deck is furnished with a top of the line gas BBQ that's fueled with Natural Gas piped from the house, so there's no risk of running out during your stay. The deck has comfortable lounge seating for plenty of relaxing or dining. A great spot for reading a book or enjoying an afternoon beer from our local Colorado Boy Brewery. We only have neighbors on one side which makes for unobstructed views. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating with Room & Board furniture.
The dining room can seat 10 comfortably with our custom made dining table, made out of a vintage, reclaimed bowling alley - very cool! The master suite is large and comfortable with incredible views and a spacious spa-like bathroom with jetted tub, separate spa shower, dual vanities, water closet and walk-in closet. The second bedroom upstairs has a simple rustic feel with hand made furniture. It shares the second upstairs bath with the bunk room down the hall which has 2 bunk beds (4 beds total). The downstairs bedroom can be kept as the office like it's used most of the time, or set up to be a bedroom and office. The house is outfitted with fast wireless Internet. The downstairs bedroom shares the full bathroom with living and dining rooms. The kitchen is large with great views. Stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space make it perfect for large family dinners, chef-inspired feasts or simple meals.
This is the perfect rental for families, large or small groups, wedding groups, hunting groups, long term stays, short terms stays, working vacations, etc.

We do our best to make room in closets and drawers, but personal items are still present. We ask that you respect our home as you would want guests to respect yours.

We are long-time friends who bought this property as an investment at the beginning of 2010. We are both local guys who live in the house part time and rent it out part time. The house is very clean, efficient, comfortable and fun! We are in-town during rentals most of the time, so we're always near if you need help with anything or have questions. We also operate as the concierge service as we know what to do and where to go in the area!

Originally from Ridgway, we've both traveled the world and seen some of the most beautiful spots on the globe. But we both maintain this is the most breath-taking place anywhere. We've both spent years living elsewhere, but the incredible nature, amazing views, tons to do, great people, world-class skiing make this a truly special place we couldn't stay away from.
One or both of us are usually in town during rentals, so we're always near to help you out with whatever you need. We're more than happy to set up activities, catering, give recommendations, or simply enjoy a beer at the local brewery. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and close to everything Ridgway has to offer. We're offering luxury and comfort at a fraction of the price. There isn't a better value in the area!
415 Kismet was the perfect home base for our Colorado vacation and Telluride Bluegrass Festival! A beautiful, spacious home! All the modern amenities we were looking for and killer views to boot! We'll be back!
We were extremely satisfied with our stay. With 8 adults everyone had plenty of space and privacy. Having 3 full bathrooms was a huge plus. The kitchen was spacious enough for more than one cook to be on the kitchen. The kitchen table was perfect for our dinners and card games. We entertained my sister and her family that actually live in the same subdivision, for meals and games. Our group would then consist of 14. We never felt cramped. The back porch was a bonus through out the day; morning coffee with the beautiful view of the San Jaun mountains, extra storage for coolers, camping gear, and a perfect place to cool down from our long hikes and mountain climbs. We used the backyard for lawn games. We would return to this house in a heartbeat!
As a vacationing family of 4 adults, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night/ 5 day stay at this very comfortable home for its scenic location and convenience. . We loved the porch which served as our our late afternoon gathering spot for wine/beer and snacks.! Even watched the super moon show from the adjacent enclosed lawn.😊 Everything that was specified by the owners was in order and just as expected. I found the owners communicative right from the beginning inquiry which made the process of renting very easy. This is a lovely, spacious and clean home for visiting the area of Ridgway, Ouray, Silverton and Telluride. We drove early one morning to Durango (about 2 hrs.) to take the Durango-Silverton train one way to Silverton. One family member then picked us up in the car so that we could explore the town of Silverton and stops along the Million Dollar Highway back through Ouray to Ridgway. Hiking was one of our priorities and there is an abundance of choices near this home. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, this home easily provides space for 8. There are several very good restaurants in Ridgway and Ouray❤️. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again, if available.
Good experience, would have been better if the Welcome packet had included information on checkout time. Also, provide dish cloths so we could wash dishes by hand & wipe down table & counters before we left.

Our two families had a great experience at this home in Ridgway (total of 9 people). It is in close proximity to the Uncompaghre River and close to a beautiful park with a nice running trail that parallels the river with the mountains all around. The scenery is gorgeous. The owner was very pleasant to do business with, very professional, and quick to reply to any questions we had. We accidentally left a few items behind (swimsuits) and he promptly notified us about them and offered to put them in the mail that week. I considered that above and beyond and was very grateful. We would definitely recommend this home to others and will likely book it again when we get a chance to return to Ridgway.
The house was absolutely perfect for us, our 4 children and our other extended family that were in and out. We got married while we were visiting and there was plenty of room to accommodate all of us getting ready and just kicking back. The house itself is beautiful, very comfortable and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The views are amazing all the way around. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay. We are hoping to come back again this next July.
9 miles from Ouray and the Ice Climbing Festival, Ridgway hosts the free Pickin' in the Park concert series every Thursday in July, 5 minute walk to the beautiful River Trail which is great for walking running and biking
