2 sets of grandparents, 1 grandson and the 2 uncles, plus the grandson’s parents – wonderful week, perfect weather. The dock allowed us to use our boat as the fishing and cruising were enjoyable. We had a fun-filled week and enjoyed friends and family. Thank you for sharing your home.

Perfect place for a girls weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had a blast at this house over the weekend! The property was well equipped, clean, and plenty spacious for the 11 of us. Loved all of the outdoor spaces, and the weather was perfect for us to spend time on the multiple balconies, as well as the beautiful dock (the sunset views from there are absolutely gorgeous). Short drive to Sullivan's Island bars and restaurants, and a 15-20min drive/uber to downtown. So much fun!

Very comfortable home!

  • 4 of 5

We were so thrilled to arrive to the house on Dec 23 and find it all decorated so nicely for Christmas, including a tree and other nice decor. The house was large enough for our extended family. We really enjoyed the outdoor porches. It is an older home and the floors slant but that just gives it charm.

Enjoyable stay

  • 4 of 5

A charming older home. Our family gathered there for Thanksgiving. The dining table is a big plus! The one negative is the lack of oven space for big meals. The main kitchen oven is very small. I had to put our turkey in a disposable aluminum roaster and fold the sides of the pan in to be able to fit it into the oven. It took up the whole oven. I thought there would be an oven in the garage apartment, but there is just a cooktop there. As long as you''re not planning on cooking any big meals, this house should work for you. The bathrooms are small but is on main floor off kitchen and the other is upstairs with bedrooms. It's a short easy walk to beach and we really enjoyed watching the dolphins that gather there every day.

Great stay with our family!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed being down in Isle of Palms for a few days the week after Christmas, and had a great time! This sweet house was very clean and well prepared for us when we arrived, and even had holiday decorations up welcoming us! So charming!

We loved being only a few blocks from the beach, and enjoyed time on the beach each day with our family. And, it was also extremely convenient being only about 20 min. from Charleston, and allowed us to pop into the city several times for great restaurants and fun tourist attractions. Favorites included the waterfront in historic Charleston, Hominy Grill, The City Market, The Rise Coffee Bar, Magnolias, Morgan Creek Grill (IOP) and Blondies Bagels (on Daniel Island).

Jumping back to the house, we really liked having a couple different rooms for our family to hang out in...having both the living room and the sun room allowed us to spread out a bit, but still be together. The fenced in yard was great for the kids to play games in, and the apartment above the garage was the perfect spot for our parents to be able to have their own space to retire to in the evenings.

Well stocked kitchen, and appliances all worked great (for the few times we ate in!). We loved the charm of the house with it's hard wood floors and character, but being an older home we could see some updates being necessary in the future. Having only one bathroom upstairs proved a little tricky to share with four bedrooms, however we adjusted quickly to making use of the downstairs one.

Overall we loved our stay, and for the price would definitely recommend it to others!

The property is quiet and well-maintained. Very clean.

Unfortunate we were only able to stay two nights due to hurricane Matthew. The one day at the beach was nice. Never got to do anything else. I would love to come back sometime to stay the week and explore!
