About Marjorie Bacalao
Im the property manager of this townhouse which is a family property divided in four owners; Cybel, Pedro, Marjorie, and Bjorn. We are all from Venezuela except Bjorn who is from Finland. Bjorn and my aunt Cybel are married; they live between Finland, Aruba, and Venezuela. My aunt is a graphic designer and has her own Marketing Business. Pedro is my uncle, he is an engineer, lives in Venezuela, and never takes vacations, he loves to work and to be with family. Marjorie is my mother; she works with my aunt in their marketing company, she’s always traveling between Venezuela, Miami, and Aruba. We hope you like our property because we bought it with love

We bought the Townhouse because we love Aruba. It has the best weather, beautiful beaches, and very good food and restaurants. Aruba is a safe place to be, out of the hurricane belt. It’s a place to relax, minor traffic, friendly and nice local people.
What makes this Condo unique
The Location, we are 300 meters away from Eagle beach (walking distance), the townhouse is in the middle of everything and is a very good construction, it has everything that you need to enjoy your time away from home

There were several mitigating factors for the disappointment. The property manager that we initially dealt with, Maggie, did not follow through on our dealing with VRBO on changing our dates.
They were kind enough to allow us to check in early.
After the first day there some obvious issues that needed to dealt with and we contacted the property manager and explained what the problems were. The first issue was the fridge in that it wasn't keeping food cool, The fridge was set at 9, the coldest setting and the drinks, water, juice, milk and refreshments were not cold at all. The ice cream in the freezer was soft and not frozen. We even tried to putting the milk in the freezer to have it stay cold. The second issue was the dishwasher. When we used the dishwasher the electrical breaker would trip. They were told this and never did fix the problem, so we had to hand wash the dishes for our entire stay. One morning we woke up to a large pool of water in the dining area. We called the property manager and they responded in a timely manner. It was never determined where the water came from, but they insinuated that we were playing with the ice maker water line which we, in fact, never touched. The ice maker was not operational the whole time we were there.The hot water system didn't work the first day as there was a setting that was improper. We were fortunate to have access to the room that had the mechanical as it is located with the wash machine. The listing indicates a washing machine, but apparently it is only available for stays longer than 10 days and you have to pay a $45.00 fee to use. FYI - there is no dryer. We also showed the manager the condition of the fry pans as they were well beyond being usable. They were to be replaced, but we never saw the new pans. Teflon coated pans that are scratched are dangerous to your health when used in that condition. If you have small children, one has to careful for the stairs as there is no guard railing on the open side. The balcony in the master suite would be a nice sitting area, but there is no furniture. Overall we were very disappointed in the unit. I will not be returning to this property, nor can I recommend it to anyone else.
As a side note, we were owners of a condo in Maui, and dealt with VRBO and know how important it is to respond to travellers' needs, once it is brought to your attention. Failure to respond is not a good way to grow your client list.
Property was perfect for a stay at Eagle Beach
The property was clean and nicely decorated. The temperature was well controlled and comfortable. It was quiet and secure. The Host made sure we had everything that we needed and a concierge showed us all the access and features of the property and was available for any questions that came up. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. A cooler and ice machine were available to use making day trips around the island comfortable. The property is a 5 minute walk from Eagle beach and there are restaurants and casinos in short walking distance.
Wonderful stay near Eagle Beach, Aruba!
This is our second year staying in Mayi's wonderful Eagle Beach townhouse, which perfectly suits our needs as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 8 and 10. The townhouse is spacious and quiet, with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs, and a half-bathroom, kitchen, and living area downstairs. We make use of the kitchen and appreciate that Superfoods Plaza is 5 minutes away by car. Eagle Beach, which we love, is a short walk or a shorter drive. We love the location of the townhouse because we can easily access gorgeous beaches, downtown, the Palm Beach area, and restaurants and attractions on any other part of the island. We always rent a car and love that there's a designated space for it in the townhouse parking area. Our kids love the pool and can use it anytime when they don't feel like going to the beach. Mayi, the owner, is also a really friendly and kind person who is a pleasure to communicate with. We highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!
Comfort of home while traveling!
The townhouse was perfect for our stay in Aruba. We did have a rental car, which made experiencing the island easier as you are away from the high rises and restaurants. Meeting to get the key and checking out to return the key was easy and went smoothly. The beds were comfortable and the place was really clean. Also being in a gated community helped us relax on vacation knowing that we were safe. One thing we found (we stayed in the room with the King) is that the air conditioning worked better if you kept the bathroom and bedroom doors closed as it really held in the cool air! Would absolutely recommend and look forward to staying here again when we come back to visit!

Nice condo in a quiet area
My stay was from June 27th - July 1, 2018. Great condo in a gated area. The condo was clean and comfortable for my girls group of 4. The only negative was that the WiFi for unit 8 wasn’t working, The towels and washcloths have seen better days so I advise taking your own, and the light outside the front door needs to be replaced. It’s in a pretty quiet area with limited restaurants within walking distance. I would advise a rental car for daily outings to more active areas. It was a short walk to the beach, but there is no sidewalk, luckily not much vehicle traffic except for crossing the main road. I would stay again as long as I have a rental car.
Jardines Del Mar is located within walking distance to the Famous Eagle Beach that is top listed as the best and cleanest beach in the world 2012,
beside the a Aqua Windies diving school and therapy body training center and the DIVI Village Golf Camp.
There are nearby Shopping centers and Casinos where you can find a few Restaurants and Fast Food.
There are Private hospitals, spa and massage centers in the area as well.
Jardines Del Mar is basically near to the most in Aruba, it´s 3Km to downtown and 3Km to the Palm Beach and 1,5Km to the larger Supermarkets on the Island
where you can find all kinds of food, wines, fresh fish, etc.
