We had acquired the property for our home but destiny had other plans. So I decided to do what I liked best. Public relations.

Ralph Escribano purchased this apartment in 1994
History fscinates me and this property certainly fits the bill.
It was built in 1804 for a Spanish Army Officer( 18 in the family)
Also it is a very peaceful place.
Walking distance to just about anywhere in this old city. Amiable residents. Plenty of culture. and activities. Restaurants,Luxury Hotels nearby. The Waterfront Fantastic sunsets seen fro the fort nearby. You name it. Away from it all. Who needs anything else?
When we arrived, we found our hostess standing outside in the heat with sawhorses holding off a parking spot for us so that we could unload our luggage. Their graciousness continued like this in many ways throughout our stay. Ralph and Raquel were wonderful hosts. Minor issues were addressed immediately and with grace and kindness. We appreciated the historic aspect of the 211 year old building and were grateful to be in the heart of Viejo San Juan. Parking was not easy on the streets but 8 or 9 dollars for overnight parking in Doña Fela just a 10 minute walk away gave us plenty of opportunity to see things as we walked back and forth. Ralph brought us fresh mangoes and even left us with a parting gift of a wonderfully aromatic coffee from Puerto Rico which was utterly delightful. We recommend this property and wish to express our gratitude to the owners for making this a wonderful stay. Thank you!
Owners were very attentive and delivered keys personally. At check out they visited the property to see how was our stay. Lovely couple.!!!
The 6 of us had a great time in this beautiful home! The apartment had everything that we needed and was in a great location. Ralph and Raquel were great hosts and responded to all of our questions immediately. They put us in contact with great people that showed us around the island. It was easy to get to El Yunque, the Caverns, and several beaches. We loved our stay and would recommend this property!
My niece and I shared this home for our first visit to old San Juan. We couldn't have been happier with the location and the neighborhood, and we really appreciated the opportunity to experience the authentic and historic architecture. Ralph and Raquel are extremely kind, gracious and accommodating and we hope for the chance to visit them in the future. Also, the Mezzanine (bar) above the St. Germain restaurant just four doors away became our favorite nightcap spot for great drinks and conversation with the staff.
