Dear Scott-We tried to submit our review but were unable to do so. If you would like to submit it please feel free. Thank you for everything-we enjoyed our stay.
We planned a little wedding in Santa Fe around Christmas. My husband and I thought the house was a perfect little honeymoon retreat. We had a few family members for dinner and found the kitchen to be stocked with everything we needed. Someone with an eye for detail was in charge of the decorating. I found myself walking around taking pictures of the charming details around the house. On Christmas the courtyard was covered with a white blanket of snow. We had some minor issues with a shortage of hot water on the first day. The issue was promptly addressed and resolved by the property owner. There is a nice Whole Foods just a couple miles away. We liked shopping there and using the beautiful kitchen to cook. The surrounding area is beautiful for a walk. There are tons of locals out walking their dog's. The queen size bed is a little hard. Some of details we appreciated were the soft plush towels, soft linens, fluffy pillows, pretty dishes and utensils, Viking range, sub zero refrigerator/freezer, a nice view out every window, the humidifier, and of course the decorating.
Well supplied and clean, nicely furnished, beds were a bit hard- I'd recommend the owner invest in some memory foam toppers. Good location and not noisy at all. Walking distance to Canyon Road but you probably will drive and park to go to the Plaza area.
Loved the hacienda. Could walk to the Plaza and Canyon Road. Property managers were very nice and accommodating.
We enjoyed our stay in our little Adobe . It was well equipped and within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops and sights.
Loved staying at CASA Tennario. Nice location with 5 minute walk to Csnyon Road and 15-20 minute walk to Plaza and Railyard. Relaxing living area and small patio. Bedrooms are small with small beds but comfortable. Large people would not be comfortable. Nice neighborhood off the beaten path.
Our family just returned from spending 6 nights in this perfect house in Santa Fe.
The location in Santa Fe can not be beat. It was the perfect base camp for everything in, and outside, of Santa Fe. Most of the Santa Fe attractions and restaurants were less than a 15minute walk. It was very convenient for getting to attractions just outside of SF also (Bandelier, Tent Rocks, Nambe Falls, and we even ventured down to Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands National Parks).
Not only was the location, perfect, but so was the house and all of it's amenities! The house captured the artsy appeal and vibe of Santa Fe and New Mexico beautifully. It has very high-end and luxurious furnishings, appliances and decor as well as a cute and quaint porch. The size was perfect for us too. Comfy beds for us and our two teenagers (who also loved the house by the way!). Two bathrooms are a plus as is the attention to all of the details (down to the zip lock bags).
We very confidently recommend this house to any potential travelers to Santa Fe! Did I mention that it was "PERFECT"?! :)
Casa Tenorio has a lot of Santa Fe style charm packed into a cozy casita and the location is terrific -- just off Acequia Madre and Canyon Road on Santa Fe's historic east side. It's easy to walk to Canyon Road, Garcia Street Books and Downtown Subscription (a great local coffee shop). The casita has been lovingly remodeled and has all new and very high end appliances (although the Sub-Zero freezer drawers that are set in the kitchen island ran continuously so there was constant noise from them). The only other downside is that it's the second casita in a compound of five and there is little privacy (except for the fact that the curtains on every single window could be kept closed) — not ideal if you want to be able to look out. The parking space is super small (think compact or subcompact car size), and you have to get it to by navigating around all of the other tenant's cars. The neighbors all seemed friendly enough but one of the properties in the compound is severely run down, complete with a front yard full of trash (and a giant teddy bear tied to a tree), plus big old truck that never moved the entire week we were there because it no longer runs according to one neighbor. The patio area is tiny but it was very nice to have a place to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The smallness of this casita can easily be overlooked due to the upgraded appliances and nice remodel full of Santa Fe charm but the closeness of neighbors and the parking situation is what took it from 5 to 3 stars for us.
