Location, location, location! Renovated baths & kitchen with air-conditioning in bedroom! This is the best beachfront unit with spectacular views of the ocean, literally a stone's throw from your lanai. What better way to spend your vacation in Hawaii but by having a Mai Tai on your private lanai staring & mesmerized at the ocean/beach, watching the sunset! Awesome 3rd floor (walk-up) unit has spectacular views of famous North Shore surf breaks (Haleiwa - home of the Triple Crown Surf Tournament as well as Bay Watch). Good to know your buildings - this unit is in the beachfront building (B for Beach) of Haleiwa Surf Condos facing the ocean. Great for that romantic get-away or a fun family vacation. Lots to see & do! Haleiwa Surf Condominium is conveniently located near Historic Haleiwa Town for shopping and restaurants. With a full kitchen, you can have simple to gourmet meals in the condo or delicious dine-out meals just down the road. When to come to Hawaii? You ask…well each season is wonderful and the temperature doesn’t change much more than 10 degrees from winter to summer, it’s typically in the 80’s daily. Our tropical tradewinds cool us in the summer and the tropical breeze off of the ocean warms us in the winter.
Summer - the ocean on the North Shore is calmer in the summer. Although there can be some smaller wave action to surf, it’s typically a great time to snorkel, boat, fish, kayak, SUP and swim. The Haleiwa Boat Harbor is nearby next to Haleiwa Alii Beach Park. Sharks cove is fabulous for snorkeling (a great reef shelf with many colorful fish, coral & turtles).
Winter – the ocean on the North Shore is famous for the BIG WAVES. This is so incredibly spectacular to watch (or surf if you dare). A definite must to see is Pipeline, Sunset & Waimea beaches (can reach up to 25 feet)! And of course can watch right off the lanai, Haleiwa, Avalanche Puaena Pt. & Walls.
Spring – can be end of winter swells or balmy beginning of summer or more than likely a combination of both seasons.
Fall – can be beginning of winter swells or end of summer calm oceans, probably a combination of both seasons.
Fall thru Spring is whale season and Humpbacks can be seen breaching from your lanai. Most seasons the Honu (sea turtles) are swimming in the reef and can be seen popping up their heads or while snorkeling along with an array of beautiful colorful fish. Oh and visiting Monk Seal sunbathing on the beach in front of your condo as well as dolphins spinning by. Truly nature’s wildlife zoo for you viewing pleasure.
Kona Winds – periodically through-out the year there are Kona wind days (humid). But mostly in late Summer to early Fall.

Robin Boolukos, owner/broker purchased this condo in 2012
We bought this unit as our family loves the beach. Our son loves to surf (that's him out in front of condo at Alii Beach Park, Haleiwa.
Location - can't beat the views here! Beachfront, privacy, renovated & ACU.
This was my families first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't of picked a more perfect location. The condo pictures were exactly what you walked into. The view was spectacular! We snorkeled right off our beach and swam next to sea turtles. Haleiwa is the perfect location, you are only a beautiful drive away from anything you wish to do. The town of Haleiwa is so friendly and you feel very safe and welcome. I would highly recommend Robins condo to anyone and plan to visit again. Our favorite excursion was the ATV trip at Kualoa Ranch. I can't possibly describe the views in the mountains. It truly is paradise!!
Robin's place was an excellent location to stay in! Just a minute drive from downtown Haleiwa, and about an hour away from the bustling city of Honolulu. The beachfront location was incredible. My wife and I would wake up every morning and have coffee on the lanai and watch the sunrise.
The place was super clean when we arrived and we had no issues our entire stay. I would highly recommend this location to friend and family alike. I will definitely be booking with Robin in the future when we return to Hawaii.
It's always a pleasure when you go out on a limb by choosing a condo based upon pictures and then arrive to find you'd got what you thought you were getting. We've used VRBO for over a decade and have had mixed results although mostly good. However, the bad experiences always make us a bit nervous until we see the condo in person.
In the case of this condo, what you see on VRBO is what you get. What you don't see is just as important. Wall to wall condition of the condo is good. Supplies from kitchen, to bedroom, to bathroom and to beach are ample and in good shape. The bathroom layouts were great. The furniture throughout, with the exception of the patio cushions which have flattened a bit too much, is very comfortable. The sound, smell and sight of the ocean and the beach from the lanai are fantastic. We would not hesitate to return.
Robin, the owner, is excellent in her organizational and communication skills. It was a treat to work with her.
What a wonderful experience we had in lovely Haleiwa, we arrived at the end of May and it was perfect. The condo was just as it is shown on the website, clean, comfortable and of course what a view of the sunsets. If you are looking for a pure Hawaiian experience, laid back and relaxing this is the place for you. The beach right outside your room is beautiful, sitting on the deck each morning watching the waves and enjoying the ocean breeze was the best way to start off each day. This property has it all, no need to bring extra stuff from home, beach towels, chairs, coolers, and of course the beach. Perfect for families, the reef was wonderful for snorkeling and just down a bit we enjoy the larger waves. My daughter even got to fulfill a dream and swim with the turtle’s right in front of the condo. This was a vacation for our family that we have been dreaming of and planning for several years, and I am so happy we chose to come and stay at this beautiful property. There is so much to experience on this island, you can go and do something new every day, (we loved the Polynesian Culture Center, the Dole Pineapple tour, and of course Pearl Harbor) or just do nothing but enjoy the beach and read a book. Haleiwa has it all away from the congestion of the city here you will get the true Hawaiian feel. I read somewhere this quote” You can always make money, you can’t always make memories,” just do it. The memories our family made in Haleiwa will last a life time, and if we are lucky enough to make this trip again we will absolutely come back to this beautiful property.
Mahalo Robin, for making our dreams come true. Susan
Fantastic view from the kitchen/living room/deck, quick access to the beach and a one/two minute drive into town. Nice swimming due to a reef between the large swell and beach, and if you want waves, plenty of other beaches within a few miles (we enjoyed Waimea as there were no rocks). The owner Robin was super helpful and responsive, both before we booked and for the duration of our stay. A+
Enjoyed our stay in the north shore. Condo was clean and well equipped. Should have checked for supplies before shopping. The condo was equipped with a great deal of toiletries and spices, coffee etc. Advice check before you buy. Stayed in many condos and this was not the norm. Enjoyed the town of Haleiwa. Walking distance to cute shops and restaurants. Having the beach at our doorstep wasn't bad either. Wonderful 5 days. Would recommend.
Historic Haleiwa Town is self contained with everything from grocer, pharmacy, banks, shaved-ice stands, coffee, art galleries, and great restaurants to even a McD’s if the keiki (kids) are with you. Some must-do’s & favorites are Matsumoto’s Shaved-ice, Haleiwa Joe’s (you can walk to), Jameson’s by the Sea, Kua’aina Burgers (great fries too), Cholo's Mexican, the Shrimp trucks, way too many to name. You can take surfing lessons or rent a board in the many surf shops in Haleiwa as well as buy the cutest bikini in the darling boutiques! Kayak up the river from the boat harbor under picturesque Anahulu bridge. Go on a Shark adventure, fishing tour or boat ride at the Harbor. Visit Waimea Botanical Gardens & learn the hula. Or just sunbathe and take that long stroll on the beach.
Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Hawaiian Water Adventure Park & Polynesian Cultural Center are all approximately 30 to 45 minutes away, so nothing is too far away from this unique experience in Hawaii. You will remember this stay at (and probably return to) Haleiwa Surf and Hawaii. We are looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience and condo with you!
