Location, location, location! Renovated baths & kitchen with air-conditioning in bedroom! This is the best beachfront unit with spectacular views of the ocean, literally a stone's throw from your lanai. What better way to spend your vacation in Hawaii but by having a Mai Tai on your private lanai staring & mesmerized at the ocean/beach, watching the sunset! Awesome 3rd floor (walk-up) unit has spectacular views of famous North Shore surf breaks (Haleiwa - home of the Triple Crown Surf Tournament as well as Bay Watch). Good to know your buildings - this unit is in the beachfront building (B for Beach) of Haleiwa Surf Condos facing the ocean. Great for that romantic get-away or a fun family vacation. Lots to see & do! Haleiwa Surf Condominium is conveniently located near Historic Haleiwa Town for shopping and restaurants. With a full kitchen, you can have simple to gourmet meals in the condo or delicious dine-out meals just down the road. When to come to Hawaii? You ask…well each season is wonderful and the temperature doesn’t change much more than 10 degrees from winter to summer, it’s typically in the 80’s daily. Our tropical tradewinds cool us in the summer and the tropical breeze off of the ocean warms us in the winter.
Summer - the ocean on the North Shore is calmer in the summer. Although there can be some smaller wave action to surf, it’s typically a great time to snorkel, boat, fish, kayak, SUP and swim. The Haleiwa Boat Harbor is nearby next to Haleiwa Alii Beach Park. Sharks cove is fabulous for snorkeling (a great reef shelf with many colorful fish, coral & turtles).
Winter – the ocean on the North Shore is famous for the BIG WAVES. This is so incredibly spectacular to watch (or surf if you dare). A definite must to see is Pipeline, Sunset & Waimea beaches (can reach up to 25 feet)! And of course can watch right off the lanai, Haleiwa, Avalanche Puaena Pt. & Walls.
Spring – can be end of winter swells or balmy beginning of summer or more than likely a combination of both seasons.
Fall – can be beginning of winter swells or end of summer calm oceans, probably a combination of both seasons.
Fall thru Spring is whale season and Humpbacks can be seen breaching from your lanai. Most seasons the Honu (sea turtles) are swimming in the reef and can be seen popping up their heads or while snorkeling along with an array of beautiful colorful fish. Oh and visiting Monk Seal sunbathing on the beach in front of your condo as well as dolphins spinning by. Truly nature’s wildlife zoo for you viewing pleasure.
Kona Winds – periodically through-out the year there are Kona wind days (humid). But mostly in late Summer to early Fall.
We are Kamaaina. I Robin am a real estate broker.
Robin Boolukos, owner/broker purchased this condo in 2012
We bought this unit as our family loves the beach. Our son loves to surf (that's him out in front of condo at Alii Beach Park, Haleiwa.
Location - can't beat the views here! Beachfront, privacy, renovated & ACU.
This is our second stay here at the Haleiwa Surf condos. Both times in Robin's unit. It is totally remodeled and very well done. It is so nice to have two bathrooms, even for only two people. We each had our private bath! The unit is well stocked with everything from kitchen items to beach items. We enjoyed taking the beach chairs down to the beach and just relaxing for hours on end. You are literally only a few steps from the beach. Location could not be better!
Robin was wonderful to work with and the condo was as described and lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed our mornings and most evenings on the lanai. What a wonderful view! We loved listening to the birds bed down for the night - such an amazing ritual for me. The condo was clean and comfortable - I loved reading the guest book and making choices on their recommendations, or not - LOL. It was a great location and Haleiwa a great little town! Weather was not normal for September we hear - hot and humid. And the waves very active. Beach by the condo was great but it was too rough for good snorkeling. We did go out one day and saw quite a bit of fish but it was murky and not good for photographing. We saw lots of turtles swimming by our last afternoon - so magical! Places we'd recommend ...
Giovanni's Shrimp truck - awesome!
Uncle Bo's - great dinner
Haleiwa Joe's - great place for a beer - food was good just not fantastic
Matsumoto's Shave Ice - Yummm
Would definitely recommend this place and go back if in the area again in the future.
First of all the owner Robin is fantastic. She is prompt and friendly to answer any emails or phone calls. The apartment is clean, modern, and equipped with everything you will need for a fun Hawaiin vacation. If you go in the summer like we did you will especially appreciate the air conditioned bedroom. It was so necessary in the humid balmy August. Robin was so nice to let us know there would be some construction going on in the complex and yes indeed there was.She apologized and reimbursed some of our money. The lanai was wonderful to sit and just watch and listen to the waves. We had 2 big seals come and rest right on our beach. The little town of Haleiwa was sweet and don't forget to go to Haleiwa Joes and have Alaskan king crab. The best meal ever.Thank you Robin
Amazing apartment with everything you need. Clean and tidy, the whole apartment complex is relaxed and quiet. It's a 15minute walk into the village where all the restaurants and amenities are. The beach is a few steps through the garden where you can go snorkeling with sea turtles!! Robin was so prompt and helpful. Highly recommended!!
This is an amazing condo with everything you need for a visit to the beach. We were very happy the bedroom was air conditioned, as the afternoons were hot and humid. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it to others. Thanks, Robin...we had an incredible and comfortable stay!
This was my families first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't of picked a more perfect location. The condo pictures were exactly what you walked into. The view was spectacular! We snorkeled right off our beach and swam next to sea turtles. Haleiwa is the perfect location, you are only a beautiful drive away from anything you wish to do. The town of Haleiwa is so friendly and you feel very safe and welcome. I would highly recommend Robins condo to anyone and plan to visit again. Our favorite excursion was the ATV trip at Kualoa Ranch. I can't possibly describe the views in the mountains. It truly is paradise!!
Historic Haleiwa Town is self contained with everything from grocer, pharmacy, banks, shaved-ice stands, coffee, art galleries, and great restaurants to even a McD’s if the keiki (kids) are with you. Some must-do’s & favorites are Matsumoto’s Shaved-ice, Haleiwa Joe’s (you can walk to), Jameson’s by the Sea, Kua’aina Burgers (great fries too), Cholo's Mexican, the Shrimp trucks, way too many to name. You can take surfing lessons or rent a board in the many surf shops in Haleiwa as well as buy the cutest bikini in the darling boutiques! Kayak up the river from the boat harbor under picturesque Anahulu bridge. Go on a Shark adventure, fishing tour or boat ride at the Harbor. Visit Waimea Botanical Gardens & learn the hula. Or just sunbathe and take that long stroll on the beach.
Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Hawaiian Water Adventure Park & Polynesian Cultural Center are all approximately 30 to 45 minutes away, so nothing is too far away from this unique experience in Hawaii. You will remember this stay at (and probably return to) Haleiwa Surf and Hawaii. We are looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience and condo with you!
