My friend and I loved staying here! Super cute property and walking distance to S Congress shopping and dining. Travis was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.
This house was in the perfect location for our stay. The property was very cute, and well maintained. The patio and deck were perfect, and had we had time to use it, we would have! The rooms were all clean, and there were plenty of towels and pillows. The fridge was big enough to put what we needed in there as well. The only thing we'd like to have changed would be more hooks in the bathroom or bedroom to hang out towels on to dry. There were 4 of us in the house, and other than hanging towels over the doors, there were only 2 solid places to hang towels. This didn't really affect our stay or our happiness, but just something to note. The owners were fabulous and very attentive to our needs. The router/wifi wasn't working for some reason, so they came over and took care of it all ASAP. Would definitely stay in this house again, we all LOVED it!
My husband and I and our son were delighted to stay at this property. It was nearly perfect. I say nearly, because there was a problem with the couch, but Tyler assures me she has replaced it so that will not be a problem for us if we go back. And I would go back. The location is wonderful. Travis Heights is a great neighborhood. We were on a corner, but it was the quietest corner I've ever stayed on. Tyler said they are remodeling the kitchen in the near future, but we think Austin is all about food and never used the kitchen facilities except for coffee and leftovers. And by the way, Tyler was always responsive to any of my questions or concerns. I found her to be totally accommodating and charming, too. I would happily stay here again if I return to Austin.
Loved the house super close to downtown and several favorite ATX food places. Owners were really helpful and responded to emails and text quickly. I will totally stay here again when I return to ATX
dont expect to much of this house, it is old, worn out, small and as usuall filled with the stuff you dont want to keep in the house you live in "we can use it in the house we rent out instead of throwing it away"
if you want to cut and cook something bring knifes and a pan..
i dont want to talk about the sofa..
and the messy yard...
the one thing we laughed the most about was the only entrance to the second bedroom, it was thru the bathroom !! that was impossible to find out in the pictures..
it was fairly clean if you didnt look in the corners..
the good things was comfortable beds and of course the location... if you just want to enjoy the area and just have a place to sleep its ok..
will we be back ??
Perfect cottage for our anniversary get away. Location was just right for all the things we had planned to do while in Austin. Free pool nearby was nice for a cool dip on a hot August day. Enjoy your visit. We did.
