Para-sailing and sightseeing tours by boat are also available. This home is equipped with all modern living facilities. Linens, bedding, cooking utensils and paper products are included. Gas grill is also available for a small fee to cover gas use and cleaning.

Travel by boat to Kiawah and Seabrook Island in just minutes.

The home's total living space is ~4800sqft

Probably beautiful home in the 1990s.

The master bedroom bed/pillows was very comfortable. The house and property have the structure of everything you would want, but it is totally worn out. The kitchen supplies made cooking feel like we were camping. There is one butter knife, no colander, no Pyrex, not enough cookware to really make a meal of any complexity. The oven is crooked and we could not tell when it reached temperature. The numbers on the stove are difficult to see on the temperature dial. The workmanship is like it was done by my grandmother, without her glasses on. There is quite a bit of water damage to the areas around the windows. Several screens are ripped or missing. The front steps and back porch are weather damaged and the paint is worn off making it look like it was abandoned. The curtain rods are loose. The electrical switches are like an Easter egg hunt, trying to find which one might turn on/off this or that. We never got the front porch lights to turn on and could not find how to turn off the spot light out front. The work that was done to the house is terrible. Wall paint is on the trim and ceiling. The master bedroom shower used to have duel shower heads but now has just one. The other was capped off, not removed, and the cap leaks. There was no shower curtain in one of the other showers and none to be found in house. One step leading to upstairs is shorter than the rest causing you to misstep. The property had construction material scattered out back and a ladder was propped against the house near the master bedroom deck. Curtains are needed on the sun deck. Even in November, the southern exposure made the room too hot. I figure $100,000 in repairs will make this place a show piece. Until then, it is a 50 yard house: Looks great from 50 yards away.

Spacious home with beautiful views.

  • 4 of 5

We had a pleasant stay. When a problem arose, it was resolved quickly. Easy drive in to Charleston. Nice areas to hang out & relax after a day filled with sightseeing!

Spacious kitchen, but would be helpful to add some nonstick pans. Very clean & we’d be happy to stay there again!

relax by the water

  • 4 of 5

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend at the house. The location was very good, easy access to the beach and downtown Charleston. Sitting down on the dock was very peaceful. I was surprised how quiet it was there the whole time. We would consider renting again if we get back to Charleston

Great House

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. House is spacious and the views of the back creek and surrounding marsh are terrific. Great to sit on the screened in porch or in the living room and take in. House is only about a mile from Folly Beach, just out of golf cart range, but other than Saturdays it wasn't too hard to find parking down there. Good proximity to downtown Charleston and other points in the area. Plenty of shopping and dining in the area as Folly Road has most everything you could need.

Towels and linens were provided and the linens were nice. We've rented a few homes over the years and this was a great experience.
