I moved from California from Vermont over twenty years ago. I think you will love Santa Barbara as much as I do.
Thank you for viewing my home.
Carol Cope purchased this house in 1993
Santa Barbara's vast beauty surrounds you, it has a climate that is moderate throughtout the entire year, who could not be enchanted.
The three patios have there own uniqueness. One is secluded with and outside fire pit. A great place to sunbathe, or sit by the fire pit under the starry sky having wine in the late evenings. The other is perfect place to have your morning coffee and/or breakfast. My most favorite one is the main side patio that overlooks the ocean and is ideal to entertain or have your dinner just relaxing in the evening. On the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve you can watch the fireworks from the patio or the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a spectacular view of ocean and harbor.
We spent more than 2 months at Carol's house. The house is absolutely wonderful with stylish furniture and all comforts. Downstairs you can enjoy the fireplace and a most equipped and modern kitchen.
Upstairs the master bedroom offers an incredible ocean view.
All bedrooms are elegant with very comfortable beds.
We loved the garden with its calm and inspiring beauty.
Carol is a terrific landlord. She was always ready to help and to assist us. She enjoys having guests and invests a huge effort to keep the house at the top level.
We wish to thank her for our wonderful staying with the hope of coming back soon.
We love this house. It was perfect for 6 people and the location is great. Can't beat the view, the house had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished. The owner was so helpful and gracious and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely rent this one again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. The owner was friendly and accommodating. The house is more than well equipped with top of the line appliances and beautiful furnishings. It was an easy walk to the beach (a bit more challenging coming back up but a short workout). If you choose to drive, parking is no problem. We would come back again in a heartbeat and plan on doing so next summer.
A lovely home that has been beautifully decorated and landscaped. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality merchandise and the bedrooms and baths also will satisfy the needs of almost any fastidious tenant.
While the house is aesthetically pleasing and certainly well equipped, I must point out that to access the bedrooms, one has to climb a flight of stairs which might be a problem for an adult with disabilities or someone not physically fit. Also, while the decorating is certainly lovely, there are a number of glass and ceramic items which we needed to move to keep our active two year old from harming herself or the property. I might add that by keeping an eagle eye on the child, this task was definitely achieved and I would not hesitate to rent the property again.
Loved the amenities, location and views. Perfect for our family visit.
The five of us spent a wonderful three nights at this gorgeous, high-end retreat, not far from the beach and from downtown Santa Barbara. The master bedroom was spacious, modern, welcoming, with a splendid view of the sea (although the bed gradually gave up on us), the other bedrooms were warm and cozy, and all had beautiful views as well. The house is splendidly appointed in all respects - we had some elegant dinners at candlelight; shopping for food was a breeze; the patio and garden provided restful seclusion. We would certainly want to go back - but would want to make sure in advance there is no construction or remodeling in the neighbors' house. The owner is extremely helpful and courteous in all interactions, and is justifiably proud of this beautiful home.
Savor a long weekend or week enjoying the stunning views of the Santa Barbara Coastline. Santa Barbara offers fabulous opportunities to hike, shop or dine. The Central Coast is in the heart of the wine country extending from Santa Ynez to Paso Robles offering many winemakers and tasting rooms.
When the sun goes down, Santa Barbara transforms from a relaxed, casual town to an electric , lively center for entertainment. Join friends at local clubs and restaurants that pulse at steady beats downtown and ignite excitement in all , or enjoy a lavish evening at the Granada Theater or The Santa Barbara Bowl both featuring renowned artists. Santa Barbara is resplendent with opportunities for the perfect dream date.
