Mom said "I thought it was great all around. Great for kids with beach, playground. Grandma said "I liked the clear communications from the Parks (Liz and Charles of iTrip), their prompt answers to all my questions, and their timely professional reminders. The location is very convenient. It was a successful vacation stay!"
The condo itself wasn't bad. Surf Beach Resort is a great place to stay and the staff there are awesome - the only problem with this unit is you're not dealing with their staff, you're dealing with iTrip vacations - this place has terrible communication and customer service. I called & emailed several times before check in & never received a call or email back. If you want to stay at Surf Beach - I would suggest booking directly through Surf Beach, they're awesome!!
Other comments: the master bed was comfortable
The second bed was very uncomfortable
The pull out couch was HORRIBLE!!
There was no bedding provided for the pull out
Very limited kitchen facilities - just a couple of pans, no vegetable peeler, no blender
All in all it was a good stay but frustrating with no communication.
We recently stayed here with our friends! We loved the space and the convenient location to many restaurants bars and things to do.
This condo was perfect for the long weekend. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean - great view and an awesome restaurant across the street. Definitely try and get an ocean view - so worth it. The only issue is it is above the pool - great to keep an eye on kids but can be a little loud at times if its crowded. Would definitely rent again!
The condo was nice. The floor is tile, so it gets slick, but that wasn't really a big deal. It was very clean and the location was perfect. Nice ocean view. Nice pool. Very friendly staff. I definitely recommend it. My husband snores, so I tried to sleep on the couch one night. However, it was a bit worn. Other than that it is perfect, and an excellent bargain! We will be staying here again for sure!
Great resort with small family feel. Enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby. We enjoyed talking long walks in the beach every evening.
Our family enjoyed our week's stay at Surf Beach Resort #304. The condo was very comfortable, convenient, and accessible to local restaurants and shopping. The view of the beach was very visible from both of our sliding glass doors. We only moved our vehicle one time during the entire week and that was to visit John's Pass which was 1.3 miles away. Local restaurants , grocery store, drug stores, and souvenior shops all within a couple blocks walking distance. We met a lot of super nice families at the pool and the fireworks show on the beach was the best! Definitely a memorable trip!
