We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We had a perfect week at Surf Beach Resort. The unit was nice, great views and a well stocked closet with beach towels, coolers, etc. The pool, hot tub and beach are great. There is a paved beach walk between the building and the beach that allows for great walks and access to a couple of restaurants, cabanas for rent on the beach, and coffee, ice cream and more restaurants across the street. It was bliss!

Poor communication

  • 2 of 5

The condo itself wasn't bad. Surf Beach Resort is a great place to stay and the staff there are awesome - the only problem with this unit is you're not dealing with their staff, you're dealing with iTrip vacations - this place has terrible communication and customer service. I called & emailed several times before check in & never received a call or email back. If you want to stay at Surf Beach - I would suggest booking directly through Surf Beach, they're awesome!!

Other comments: the master bed was comfortable

The second bed was very uncomfortable

The pull out couch was HORRIBLE!!

There was no bedding provided for the pull out

Very limited kitchen facilities - just a couple of pans, no vegetable peeler, no blender

All in all it was a good stay but frustrating with no communication.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed the resort. We agree that it is a wonderful place to stay. We do get regular requests for early check in, and we are sorry that we were not able to accommodate this Guest. Great news regarding the living room furniture! All couches, chairs, and even the dining room table were just replaced with new, extremely comfortable sets. As suggested, we will go through the kitchen and make sure that everything needed is there, and in good shape. If Guests feel there is ever something missing, we are just a quick phone call away. Thanks!

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

This condo was perfect for the long weekend. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean - great view and an awesome restaurant across the street. Definitely try and get an ocean view - so worth it. The only issue is it is above the pool - great to keep an eye on kids but can be a little loud at times if its crowded. Would definitely rent again!

Weekend Getaway

  • 4 of 5

The condo was nice. The floor is tile, so it gets slick, but that wasn't really a big deal. It was very clean and the location was perfect. Nice ocean view. Nice pool. Very friendly staff. I definitely recommend it. My husband snores, so I tried to sleep on the couch one night. However, it was a bit worn. Other than that it is perfect, and an excellent bargain! We will be staying here again for sure!
